We have a 70-foot Sissoo tree...that's right 70 feet tall! Hayward Tree Service AZ did an outstanding job trimming it up after a long few years of neglect. Their company is prompt, reasonably priced, and professionally skilled in their work. You shouldn't be taking your business anywhere else!

I hired Hayward to heavily trim 7 orange trees and remove 7 orange trees. Trees are over 20 feet tall. They did an incredible job! From start to finish, they've been 5 star. No hassle and great communication. Collected money at the end of job.

They cleaned up well and did an amazing job, start to finish. Their prices were better than unlicensed and uncertified landscapers.

Hire them and you'll be so happy! Can't recommend them enough.

Arborist came out and gave me an estimate (twice what others had quoted me). Got pushy when I wouldn't immediately agree to schedule a service, kept saying this is a fair price, started acting like I had wasted his time. Not a comfortable experience. Went with another company, who did an excellent job.

Wow! is a good one-word description for Hayward Tree Service.

I got three quotes from three different tree services to have 4 Eucalyptus trees removed from my backyard.

First of all, without the price, I would have chosen Hayward due to other reviews and they were very friendly and professional. They couldn't make our first appointment for the estimate, but clearly communicated in advance via text message. They came out on a Saturday to do the quote.

Secondly, they had the best price by a long shot against the other tree service. I felt the other companies were trying to rip us off and Hayward came in lower than expected.

I was quoted on Saturday, Trees removed on Tuesday. The used a crane, cutting the trees in either one or two pieces and pulled them to the street where they shredded the tops of the trees and loaded the trunks onto a truck. They also grinded the stumps below the surface and left my backyard in cleaner condition than when they came in.

The trees were 20-45 feet tall. The whole process was less than two hours.

These guys are amazing, I will be telling friends and family to call these them for any tree related service. It's probably a waste of time calling anyone else when these guys are so good.

These guys were amazing to work with, we had them come in and remove a large pine from our back yard, they were early and professional. I had planned on saving some logs for seating, Manuel was more than willing to facilitate that, he even cut them so they would have backs on the chairs!!!, I would highly recommend this company. The crew they sent out worked as a team and got the job done in only a few hours. A wonderful experience dealing with this company.

Did a great job removing very tall palm trees from our house. Two were very close to the house and they got them out no problem. Very cool process with a huge crane that lifts the cut palm tree trunks right up and out of the yard.

Hayward Tree Service was awesome - they provided a quick estimate which was incredibly fair and provided their insurance. The day of the service, they arrived on time and literally took the very tall palm tree down in about 30-minutes - including grinding the stump! They cleaned up - it looked like they were never there! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!

Hands down a crane is the best way to go for tree removal!! Amber came out gave an estimate one day and next morning they were here removing our saguaro and palm tree! They also ground up stumps from both of them - no signs that they were ever in our yard! Very quick and efficient! These guys make the process look effortless - they absolutely know what they are doing!! Very reasonable price also.

Hayward Tree Service is AMAZING! I had a huge tree in my front yard and three huge shrubs in the back and they came through like termites and destroyed the wood. The crane took the largest and it was so quick just minutes and they also quickly cleaned up. The backyard, huge tree, and with cleanup and they were done in a hour-so awesome! We contacted Hayward Tree Services to have our large, 20 ft. tall saguaro cactus removed due to the cactus having a disease. The owner Phil came out to assess the saguaro & the next day his crew came out first thing in the morning. They had set up their equipment, cut up the saguaro, removed it with a crane & cleaned up the whole area within 45 minutes. We were so amazed at how safe, efficient & professional they were. I would highly recommend Hayward Tree Services. The owner Phil, is super kind & really knows his business. It was a pleasure working with such a dependable & reputable company. I contacted Hayward Tree Services and I couldn’t have asked for better!!! The owner Phil was top notch and more than reasonable. He has a great crew. They we professionals. They worked hard and quick. I had 6 trees removed and they did an amazing job. Couldn’t have asked for better. I would highly recommend him and his company for any tree removal or fertilization services you need. Highly professional. Great equipment. Super responsive. Overall, highly satisfied.

The other reviews are spot on about efficiency. They showed up on time and were very quick. Every person had a role and each was very good at what they did, so it was done very quickly. Its certainly a well run business.

Price was reasonable, staff was very friendly, and they were very safe / careful (very tall palm tree in a tough spot between the house, pool, and external structures). Ground the stump below ground level like it was never there and left the place cleaner than when they started.

We'll definitely call again for future tree services.

Hayward Tree Scapes did an amazing job removing three large trees from my backyard. They definitely know their job, and had my trees down and shredded in about an hour! Very reasonable price, and they even cleaned the whole yard afterward, which I really didn't expect. I was very impressed and highly recommend this company!

On 8/13/21 Hayward tree service was hired to cut down 2 Cottonwood trees at my neighbors house.. they wanted to access my neighbors RV gate thru my yard..I told them my septic system was there. crew chief said he wouldn’t even drive his Pick up truck over a specific system..He said this heavy equipment (huge crane and 2 chipper trucks) could possibly damage the system.. He assured me he would find another route to access the neighbors back yard.. he said Would Not drive on my property!!!.. I left for work and when I came I saw the huge tire tracks in my yard.. over our leach field- We talked to our neighbor he said the crew chief said the ground was hard enough and he was gonna drive over our septic system..He said I gave him the ok!!Our neighbor said thought that was weird since I told our neighbor they can’t drive on our property because of the septic system.. Called the office and Lott office manager who had owners wife Amber called us back- She was the rudest and definitely no customer service.. she said talk to crew chief he said I gave him permission.. A Down Right Lie!!!!We got no cooperation from her..She was actually rude to us..We have to have the system tested and we did file a police report.. We also have witness’s that saw the crane and 2 chipper trucks in our property!!This company is Horrible!! I will file a complaint with Angi list and The BBB

We needed two dying trees removed and Hayward was $100 less than the next lowest quote we received. The crew was professional and efficient, the trees were removed and the yard cleaned up in 30 minutes. That alone would be worth a great review, but when we went to plant new trees we ran into a snag and I had a lot of questions. Amber (owner) spent 15 minutes on the phone with me, explaining things to me that were even beyond the scope of the work they did - which to me is an indicator of exceptional customer service. I'm so thankful for her helpful recommendations and expertise. It has saved us stress, time and money. I cannot recommend Hayward enough!

I had a very large, dead tree to be removed and first shopped around for price comparisons. Some companies didn't even send a written bid. I found the Hayward Tree Service to be very professional from the time I spoke to the office manager answering my questions and scheduling service, to the crew showing up on time. Very professional and efficient. Had my huge ash tree removed and the stump and roots ground down, and were careful not to touch my sprinklers! Cleaned everything up when they were finished. Very satisfied with Hayward’s tree service and highly recommend them!

Well where to start... From the initial phone call to schedule a visit for an estimate to the final 'have a good day' as the crew took off, professional, no nonsense, friendly service was provided at every stage. We had one medium and one small tree removed. The crew was here and gone within an hour, leaving my yard cleaner than when they arrived. One thing of note I wouldn't have thought of, when they went to grind down the stump, the crew setup a screen between the work space and our house to keep any debris from hitting our sliding glass doors and windows, very nice. We would definitely recommend Hayward TreeScapes to anyone in need of tree related services.

We had a tree fall in a recent storm and it was readily apparent that if we didn't get our other (bigger) tree cut down it was going to happen again and have a possibly much worse outcome.
We received quotes from several tree companies. Hayward came in with the best pricing and was willing to work with us to figure out an option within our budget.
They were available to schedule us only a week out (which is great because the other companies I talked to were over a month out).
When the fallen tree was blocking our alleyway and the city was complaining about not being able to collect the trash the crane operator made a special trip out to help us move it out of the way-still staying within our original estimate.
Their crew arrived on time and did a great job cleaning up the yard when they were finished.
There was a mix up with our invoicing and I had to email the office back to get things cleared up. I wasn't expecting a quick response as it was 6 pm, but I got the corrected invoice within just a few minutes.
I was so impressed and appreciative of their hard work. I highly recommend!!!

They went above and beyond for service. I had them out to remove two trees. When I got home, not only were the trees removed but so was the old debris that I was expecting to have to take care of once the trees were gone. Even my patio was swept. They were also about $500 cheaper than another company for the exact same service. Great communication and prompt service.

Hayward Tree Service recently removed two ficus trees which had overgrown the pool and back yard block fence. Not having a tree removed before, I searched the internet and found Hayward’s website. I was impressed by the videos, so I decided to give them a call.

Phillip came out to take a look and gave me a very fair price. The crew arrived on time per schedule, and the job including tree removal with a crane, stump grinding, and cleanup was done in less than two hours! Amazing! Phillip and his crew are very professional and do the job right! I highly recommend Hayward Tree Service!

We will never do business with Hayward again. We had used Hayward Tree Service on one occasion and while their pricing was a bit on the high side for the amount of work performed (removal of two dead queen palms), the work was performed as scheduled and it was satisfactory. A few weeks ago we contacted Hayward again for removal of a single remaining dead queen palm, and on the day the work was scheduled no one showed up during the agreed upon time window. After the time window has passed someone from Hayward called us to let us know that they “lost their driver”, and no one else with the appropriate commercial drivers license was available to operate their truck, so we rescheduled the service for the following Saturday. I skipped a personal commitment to be present for the Hayward crew that Saturday, but once again no one showed up. After the scheduled time window for the tree service had passed, I called Hayward and reached someone at an answering service. The person at the answering service said that she would call someone from Hayward who would return my call that day, but no one called back. My wife and I have been in customer service intensive jobs our entire careers and we would have gotten fired if treated our customers so poorly. Epic fail on Hayward’s part, and we will no longer do business with them.

They have been doing a great job with our tree trimming, so called them back out to remove a very old tree stump. It was in a tight location so they had to use chain saws to cut it off well below ground level instead of using a stump grinder. It was hard work but they got it done beautifully. Thanks again guys for another job well done!

Phil came out and gave an estimate for 5 trees to be trimmed and reduced because they are getting top heavy and hanging 6 feet over the sidewalk. When I accepted their estimate and scheduled service I confirmed that they would bring a bucket lift to reach the tops of the trees. Had to wait three weeks for them to come out and do the work. When they arrived on schedule they did not have the equipment to reach the top half of the trees. The estimate said crown thin and reduce end weight which I assumed would reduce the weight on the top halves as well. They said they didn't have the equipment available or the time to trim the top halves. Very unprofessional and and waste of time.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Hayward. They came out the next day after I called for an estimate and removed my large ash trees 3 days later. They did in 2 hours what my landscaper proposed he do over 3 days. They left my yard perfectly clean when they were done. For those wondering about their pricing, they were extremely fairly priced beating all other estimates significantly. They get my highest recommendation!

I definitely recommend Hayward for any tree work you need! They came out quickly to do the quote to remove my Jacaranda. The arborist was very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was the best I had.

We needed two palm trees removed because they became to hard to manage. Called many local companies and Hayward was the most competitive price. Another company came back at almost double the estimate from Hayward. They were fast, friendly and professional. My yard looks great.

Hayward removed 6 huge trees on our property last Saturday. They were on time, very professional and did an amazing job. Watching them use the crane to remove the trees is not only interesting but very entertaining. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend working with Hayward AND set aside time in your schedule to watch them work. Watching the pine tree removed and re-purposed was the coolest experience. These people know what they're doing!

I had three orange trees in my backyard that were old and needed to come out. I had 6 or 7 different companies come and give me quotes for removing the trees and grinding the stumps. Hayward TreeScapes quoted me $200 less than the next lowest price and they were able to start work 3 days later. When the crew came it took them about an hour and a half from start to finish which I thought was very fast. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and the yard looks great. Couldn't be happier!

Phillip was the fifth quote I got for removing two trees in my backyard. I’m glad I kept up the search. The crew came in with their crane and remove the two trees from my backyard ground the stumps and Cleaned up after themselves leaving my yard looking great in about two hours.
The giant trees in my backyard were lifted by crane out around my house and lay down in the street with the end end of the chipper. The entire tree was turned into mulch in seconds, no mess. I think he came in with a team of six or seven guys, really professional.
All four of the other quotes I got we’re going to chop the trees down into pieces in my backyard and wheelbarrow them out. This team did it for 60% less than the other bids I got.
I was WOWed by this service. My giant trees are gone (made room for a swimming pool) so I can’t really call you again, but I would in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!

I called several tree service companies for bids to cut down a large tree and trim a tall palm tree. Hayward had the best price and when the work was completed I was floored. My yard and palm looked great. They did a Great job and I recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

Just had a 40 foot Pecan tree removed. Three was within 3 feet of my house, and had a area rotting. Hayward's crew was quick, clean, and totally professional. From the time they showed up, to leaving, less then 2 hours, and you would not know they were even there. Very impressive. Will use them again this fall.

I’m just sayin’ they removed a 40 ft pine tree and an orchid tree, ground the stumps below grade, came AHEAD of schedule, and were amazingly done in an hour. Its quite the operation. So organized and actually entertaining to watch how their team is a well oiled machine. And they were the lowest bid.

Fantastic job by HTS. They removed my 2 40’ Mexican palms with a crane and were done in an hour including the clean up of the area. Very professional team including the office staff. Price was fair. Will be using them for future tree trimming services and would highly recommend them.

Hayward Tree company is a solid company from the initial walk down of the project, timely response recieving the estimate, scheduling of the work, reminder call prior to the work, and crew showed up in the window scheduled. The crew did a professional job, and even cleaned up, as I left while they were still working! I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone in need of their many services.

I have used Hayward in the past and always felt they did a great job. However, I recently asked for a quote. They scheduled someone to come by which he did and I never received a written estimate. Asked for them to provide and they still have not sent to me. The individual that came to my home, provided what he thought was a rough estimate and I felt it was way too high. Hence, the reason for requesting a written quote. In any case they lost my business and I am using another tree service. Unfortunate, as I was a recurring customer for them.

10.31.2017- Update. My wife did say she received the quote but is was double what another tree service/Arborist is charging. It's never been that high and I have less trees than when they last did my property. Still lost my business.

The crew was amazing and efficient. Fascinating process. Chopped down a 30 year old pine tree in a very tight spot and removed a bottle brush tree that was too close to a block wall. Only a little less than 2 hours and was a very fair price. Highly recommend!

The price was best. The workers arrived on time, worked very efficiently and hard. Two hours and the tree was gone, chipped, and in the truck. They ground the stump and left my yard better than expected.

Hayward Tree Service did a really great job of removing our 35' Mexican Fan Palm and they cleaned things up nicely afterwards. I was extremely impressed with their equipment and that was one of the main reasons for choosing them over other service providers.

The guys were here on time. They cut and trimmed 4 trees. Did a great job and really did a good job of cleaning up. I would absolutely hire Hayward again. The price was very good also.

I liked the efficient positive way the estimate was made to the way the workers went about removing my trees. Their cleanup was much better than I expected. They even blew the dead leaves out of my flowers! So glad I chose Hayward.

Got an estimate for getting large tree limbs cut that were overhanging my daughters room. After estimator came out they said Id get an estimate later that afternoon. Didnt hear from them the first day, nor the second day. Reached out and was told owner will let me know the next day. Once again, nothing. The following day I reached out again and was told owner is not interested in doing the job. AVOID this company like the plague. They are unprofessional and will waste your time!

Had two very large trees removed and two other large trees trimmed. Crane operator had to avoid a large palm tree to complete this service. Amazing job of tree removal. Cleanup was so good, you would never suspect that they were ever there.

I called them on a Thursday for a quote on tree trimming, and sent the pictures that they requested. They never called back. I called on Friday and they said I would get a quote on Friday or Saturday. Still no quote. I guess they do not want new business.
