Best Stump Grinding in Phoenix AZ

Fast and professional job installing irrigation and a small grass area. We have had several disappointments since then. I called them 3 times requesting information about work already installed and no one ever calls back. Then I was told it would cost $150 just for a consult. I am new to the desert and did not know several mature trees did not need irrigation. Rather than advise me they installed it anyway. ( I've since rerouted to new shrubs.) So if you are not a novice, they do a fast and professional job but don't count on them after the installation is done.

I really want to find a great tree trimming company that I can refer to family and clients. I thought I had when I read initial reviews of Chip Off the Old Block but unfortunately my experience having Chip Off the Old Block remove a Sissoo Tree, stump grind and trim 3 other trees was not so great. Mitch the sales person arrived on time and wrote up a quote. They were able to get cutting crew out within a couple days which was great. Problems started when they showed up 2 hours before they were supposed to be there and when I got back home(had to leave my appt), they started cutting on the wrong tree. I called Mitch to tell him and they at least trimmed the rest of the tree to balance it out and not charge me for their mistake. This of course could have been avoided if they showed up on time as I wanted to be there when they started to avoid issues like this. The office did try to call to let me know crew was going to be there early but I was at an appt with clients and could not pickup their call. So they proceeded to trim rest of trees and cut down large Sissoo tree in our backyard. Their tree trimming service was ok at best. The crew could only get so high in a couple of the trees so tops were not properly trimmed and then left a mess at my front and rear yard along with mess in alley behind our house. I have been picking up branches for weeks after they left. I did talk to Mitch after they left about the mess they left behind and his response was they clean up most of their debris but do leave some stuff behind. Funny that was never mentioned in the quote. They aslo broke one of our landscape lights which had to be replaced and that was a whole other issue getting their repair guy to come out. Crew then came back three weeks later for stump grinding and again showed up 2 hours before set appt. This was after I asked the office for them to show up on time so I could be there based on issues form initial visit. They did a decent job on grinding the stump down but left another mess that I had a to clean up. For the premium they charge for their services, they should provide better service. I certainly will not use them again and all I can say is you should watch them closely if you decide to hire them.

Wow! is a good one-word description for Hayward Tree Service.

I got three quotes from three different tree services to have 4 Eucalyptus trees removed from my backyard.

First of all, without the price, I would have chosen Hayward due to other reviews and they were very friendly and professional. They couldn't make our first appointment for the estimate, but clearly communicated in advance via text message. They came out on a Saturday to do the quote.

Secondly, they had the best price by a long shot against the other tree service. I felt the other companies were trying to rip us off and Hayward came in lower than expected.

I was quoted on Saturday, Trees removed on Tuesday. The used a crane, cutting the trees in either one or two pieces and pulled them to the street where they shredded the tops of the trees and loaded the trunks onto a truck. They also grinded the stumps below the surface and left my backyard in cleaner condition than when they came in.

The trees were 20-45 feet tall. The whole process was less than two hours.

These guys are amazing, I will be telling friends and family to call these them for any tree related service. It's probably a waste of time calling anyone else when these guys are so good.

Very organized, efficient, and competent team. Each knew his job and did it well. Had good equipment in good operating condition enabling the team to accomplish the work in a minimum amount of time.

I was very please with the service we received. When we were scheduled for a 7:00am appointment I was worried that the noise would bother my neighbors. Much to my delight the noise level was meniscal. They worked right outside of our bedroom window and my wife did not know they were in the yard until they started blowing the small debris. My trees look great!

Bill did a fantastic job. Our ficus tree out front was out of control and starting to take over the roof. Bill came up with a plan to trim the tree but also was very knowledgeable on what we could do to insure the continued health of the tree. The guys came today and it looks fantastic. Very happy customers.

DONT WASTE YOIR TIME

We attempted to get our trees trimmed recently. Called them once to schedule a quote and no one showed. Called them back two more times with voicemail and no one returned our call. Waste of time- don't bother!!

We just bought our house and these palms were horrible- so overgrown. The crew cleaned up the huge amount of tree debri (2 trailers) & shockingly didn't seem to get anything in the pool. They are amazing!

I needed 4 very tall palm trees cut down. I contacted 5 services, Core Tree Services was one of two that returned my call/inquiry. Al was right on top of it; when I told him I wanted to go with his service, he was there the next day. I was out of town when they came, and he ran into a little dilemma on how to cut down one of the trees without upsetting my neighbor. He immediately called me and after the conversation decided to just to with the 3. That night he sent me a detailed email describing the situation. I responded saying I would still like him to cut the 4th tree down, if possible. Within a week, Al and his team came up with a solution, came back and cut the tree down. The yard was cleaner than when they arrived. I appreciate the follow up and the extra steps Al went to handle the situation and finish the job!
