Best Stump Grinding Service in Phoenix AZ

I thought I was losing my favorite tree.They have come out and hopefully we can save it.They also helped with irrigation issues! Nice people to work with.A+

I really want to find a great tree trimming company that I can refer to family and clients. I thought I had when I read initial reviews of Chip Off the Old Block but unfortunately my experience having Chip Off the Old Block remove a Sissoo Tree, stump grind and trim 3 other trees was not so great. Mitch the sales person arrived on time and wrote up a quote. They were able to get cutting crew out within a couple days which was great. Problems started when they showed up 2 hours before they were supposed to be there and when I got back home(had to leave my appt), they started cutting on the wrong tree. I called Mitch to tell him and they at least trimmed the rest of the tree to balance it out and not charge me for their mistake. This of course could have been avoided if they showed up on time as I wanted to be there when they started to avoid issues like this. The office did try to call to let me know crew was going to be there early but I was at an appt with clients and could not pickup their call. So they proceeded to trim rest of trees and cut down large Sissoo tree in our backyard. Their tree trimming service was ok at best. The crew could only get so high in a couple of the trees so tops were not properly trimmed and then left a mess at my front and rear yard along with mess in alley behind our house. I have been picking up branches for weeks after they left. I did talk to Mitch after they left about the mess they left behind and his response was they clean up most of their debris but do leave some stuff behind. Funny that was never mentioned in the quote. They aslo broke one of our landscape lights which had to be replaced and that was a whole other issue getting their repair guy to come out. Crew then came back three weeks later for stump grinding and again showed up 2 hours before set appt. This was after I asked the office for them to show up on time so I could be there based on issues form initial visit. They did a decent job on grinding the stump down but left another mess that I had a to clean up. For the premium they charge for their services, they should provide better service. I certainly will not use them again and all I can say is you should watch them closely if you decide to hire them.

I had a few estimates on my twisted mesquite tree in my back yard and I chose Jason's to trim it. Robert had the most knowledge to correct my problem tree. I've had a few others trim it in the past and it looked horrible after they were done. Roberts crew did a fantastic job considering they had to work around lots of fragile things. After they were done the yard was cleaner than when they started. GREAT JOB!!!! DD

They removed three 50ft palm trees from my backyard using a crane. Very professional crew. Did a great job. Highly recommend

Harris & Sons trimmed a large mesquite tree for me and I am very happy with the results. They did a great job at removing overlapping branches as well as a large dead section and also cleaned up some large branches. I was also impressed at how happy I was with the results because another company suggested cutting down the tree because that company thought a trim would make the tree look ugly. Harris & Sons also cleaned up all the debris and I think the ground looked better after they were done than before they arrived. I would definitely use Harris & Sons again and recommend them to others.

This company does not do what you contract with them to do. Unfortunately they do an incomplete job and will not answer your calls after they leave. Use them at your peril! They left the stumps about a foot above grade level claiming that It will settle over time. They also do not follow up on their promises to return and rectify an incomplete job because of An inconvenient distance. Caveat Emptor!

The crew did such a great job my neighbors watched and got their trees trimmed the following week. Thank you!

Trees for Needs recently removed a very large tree from my teeny tiny yard. It was a painful, yet needed solution as the roots were lifting the shared backyard walls and I have heard horror stories of the roots of trees such as these damaging foundations and/or pools.
So the deed was carried out yesterday. the price was more than fair. The crew was careful, compassionate and meticulous.
The job went off without a hitch and they gathered pine cones and clipping for me to remember the tree.

Bill and his crew done an excellent job trimming two Mexican Fan palms and two Queen palms. Cleanup was pristine! Highly recommend and will use every year for our tree trimming needs.

PV Trimmers has been doing our tree trimming for years and they always do a great job . Our trees have never looked as good. They also clean up after they are done so it looks like no one was there except that the trees look much better.

We've recently purchased a new home that needs a lot of work and Anna with Alia's tree service was amazing! She came out very quickly to give a quote and they were out that same week to complete the work. You can see the before and after pictures. The crew was very fast and cleaned up the entire area and it looks really great. I also think they were very affordable and they were one of the only ones that ever replied to my request for an estimate. I truly appreciate their professionalism. This is the third time Arizona Home Check has done tree trimming for me and I would recommend them eagerly. They are prompt, efficient, clean, and reasonable in price. I will certainly call them back again.

Al himself was out next day to estimate, then after working out a fair price we scheduled for just a few days after that to do the job. Pretty quick, considering this is palm season and a company like his is very busy right now.

The guys that did the trimming were all pretty friendly. You can tell they like trimming trees, god bless 'em! I sure don't, well not in 110 degrees anyway. They normally will prune the fronds up to a 45 degree angle so it will hold new growth longer; however, I requested closer to a 75 degree angle so the end result would be a bit fuller to begin with. I have a swing underneath and I need the extra shade.

After pruning, they came through with the rake and a blower to clean all the 'fines' leftover. As a result, the area underneath came out looking great too!

I went ahead and scheduled out for next year, that way we can get ahead of those darn see pods before they start dropping.

About a week later they sent a nice card to me, thanking me for my business. It even features Al looking like he's ready to trim some trees in high visibility orange! I've uploaded it to the picture collection.

*Update 11/27/18- Added two more pictures from trimming job in September. Another job well done.

Had a big acacia tree blow down with a storm that was blocking part of the street. They had a crew out right away. The crew did an amazing job! They also cleaned up well. Would definitely call them again if needed & would definitely recommend them.

Kris is a pleasure to work with! He is very knowledgeable about the plants and their care. My tree had not been trimmed correctly in the past, which cause one of the main branched to split. He explaining what had happened and what needed to be done. As well as what to look for to prevent any further damage. I am very pleased with his work and professionalism. I would highly recommend Kris.

Dave Schmidt the owner of Branch Mgmt. Tree Service is a crook. My name is Dominic and I was a salesman for Dave for many years. I left Dave and opened my own tree business for awhile. I then decided to change my scope of work and went into landscape install. My wife has worked as my secretary for 18 years. So, she knows the industry and she is an awesome people person. I was doing sales for my own landscape install company and came back to do sales for Dave to help him out when he was hospitalized shortly before his secretary quit. When his secretary quit, I asked my wife Theresa to work for Dave and help him out until he could find someone new. We got the business out of the hole and back to making money. Only problem is when Dave got out of the hospital and was feeling better. He was more interested in Dave's finer things in life than paying people he owed money to. Dave owes me over $20,000 and refuses to pay. We have made several attempts to work with him and come to some sort of agreement or payment plan with Dave even offering to take significantly less than what I'm owed. I saved Branch Mgmt. Tree Service from going under just to have Dave refuse to pay commissions owed to me. In the beginning he would blame in on that he was in the hospital and that he hadn't fully recovered financially and that he didn't have the extra. I would agree to wait till next payday. He would pay my current commissions owed but would rarely give me the extra pay he agreed to give me on past commissions that I'm owed. He would argue that he didn't have it and that he would compensate him on his next check. Well that went on for so long that Dominic finally told Dave he would not sell anymore work for him until he paid him some of what he owed him. In the beginning Dave would said okay, I understand and I have every intention of paying you what I owe you. He would claim that he is a Christian and so we could trust his word. Well, now Dave says he's not paying nothing to Dominic and for Dominic to do what ever he needs to do. I told him months ago if he didn't start paying that I was going to make sure people know the real David Schmidt. Read through the reviews here on yelp. You'll see nothing but good reviews when I'm involved and bad reviews when Dave is involved. He is a very rude person to customers. I would always have to take the phone calls because he is a hot head and people don't really like him. I just want you all to know before you do business with him, that he does not pay his business debts. I also would tell you to never give him a deposit for work to be done. He is in several lawsuits with people just like my me and they also stopped working because they had agreements on pay with Dave and then Dave would screw them in the end. The employees aren't the problem with this company, they do excellent work. Hopefully they figure out his tactics before they become victims also.
