I used Trees for Needs recently for removal of an unruly Sissoo tree in my small, Litchfield Park backyard. The tree, while beautiful, was ill-placed by the previous home owners, not realizing, I suppose, how large and vigorously the tree would grow. The roots had successfully begun to push-up my pool decking and had also cracked the cinderblock wall that borders the property. My fear, of course, was the pool! I had three separate estimates to assess the situation and to the rescue was Trees for Needs. They came in with the lowest price, that included removal; root treatment; and stump grinding. I decided to go with them, however, not because they offered the lowest price, but because they had the best customer service and an extremely knowledgeable arborist who gained my trust. The work they performed was top-notch and they were on-time, fast and very cleanly too. There was not even any debris left behind in the near-by pool after the tree was removed. A few weeks after removal, the crew returned and finished the stump grinding process. Now, it's as if there was never a tree there! While I miss the tree and the shade and beauty it provided, I am glad I opted for removal before the pool suffered grave damage!! And...because they did such a fantastic job, I had them come back last week to prune my lemon tree. Again, another fantastic job!! In all, I would highly recommend their services and cannot say enough about their friendly crews and their scheduling staff. They are very communicative and polite...a rare find these days. I have 19 Queen palms they PV Trimmers fertilized. They showed up on time and actually fertilized the trees. They looked great last summer. I am scheduling them again this year.

Better pricing than their competitors and responsive office staff that quickly worked through some scope/pricing options with me. The day of, they did exactly what they said they'd do. They cut down a large pine tree (40+ ft) in my backyard in under 4 hours without causing any damage to my masonry wall or pool deck, which it was sandwiched in between. They cut down 3 smaller trees in the front yard and grinded the stumps. When I came home you could never tell there was anything there, and everything was cleaned nicely. Would definitely hire again.

I highly recommend Montufar's Tree Service. Edwin is the best! He responded quickly and was able to do a same day estimate and inspection. I really appreciated his honesty as other companies wanted to cut my large palm tree down instead of trimming it because of its size. (No need for removal.) The price for the trim was great. The tree looks so nice and the area around it was cleaned really well. Excellent service!

Daniel gave me a reasonable quote and fit me in less than a week from when we discussed our concerns. Turned out he had to remove the tree due to its location being too close to the house for a tree with very invasive roots. He communicated well, was punctual, and downed the tree without disturbing my new sidewalk that was only a foot away. He left my yard very clean.
