Next Generation Tree Care

We recently move to Trilogy in Vistancia and the house came with a very large Mesquite tree in the back yard. The tree was way to big and after conferring with our landscaper and our immediate neighbors, we decided to remove it and grind the stump. We also had a second stump (Palo Verde) in the front yard that needed grinding. We contacted 6 tree removal companies to get bids. 3 never bothered to respond, 1 based in Mesa called back immediately and said it was outside their work range, and 2 gave us bids. The one we went with was 1/2 the price of the other. We hired Next Generation and Daniel came out this morning and removed the tree and ground both stumps. When he was done, there was zero evidence he had ever been here and no trace of the tree.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Daniel Walsh, the owner of Next Generation Tree Care. Daniel was recommended to us by our real estate agent to give us an estimate and advise on the giant eucalyptus trees at our new house.

Daniel listened to our concerns and provided his input and expertise on which trees he would prioritize trimming and remove based on their potential liability to property (ours/neighbors) and the health of the trees. Daniel provided us a proposal with reasonable rates, and we chose him over the three other bids we received and could not be happier with that decision.

It was a tough and technical tree removal job, but no match for Daniel! They were very friendly, and left the area cleaned up better than when they arrived. Daniel responded right away with estimates and scheduling. The day of the appointment, he thoroughly explained options and prices taking into account the tree needs (which had never been professionally trimmed and was huge) and the aesthetic we were looking for. Work was done within his estimated couple hours and everything was tidied up after. He was very kind, fast, and efficient and our tree looks fantastic. I don't have enough room here to share our great experience with Daniel Walsh at Next Generation Tree Care. Daniel first met with us when we moved into our new home. We're first time home owners in a new geographic area and didn't know a lot about landscaping or native species or just general know-how. Daniel took the time to discuss and explain everything with us. First we hired him to remove a small shrubby plant that we didn't like and he trimmed our Ficus. The Ficus was creating some very large problems with structural damage to the home and we needed the work done quickly and carefully.

Everyone knows that Ficus trees can cause damage when left to their own devices. Daniel didn't cut the top off (e.g. broccoli style) like most tree trimming that you see - he carefully and thoughtfully trimmed/pruned/manicured the tree inside and out. It looks amazing and still provides the shade we hoped to have to endure the summer.

After our amazing experience and talking through some of our ideas for making our home our own - we decided to have him do some more work. We went through the process of buying trees, Daniel consulted with us throughout the entire process - helped us figure out which ones we wanted, then he went to pick out the trees himself even driving to another location to make sure he had the best selection for our needs. He planted our trees and in the process a few snafus came up and he handled it professionally - consulting with us on solutions and efficiently solving the issues.

Our yard looks beautiful and we can't wait to enjoy it all year around. Daniel also knows many other trades related to trees having lived here and knowing the area - he has a lot of neighborly tips and helpful advice that he shared openly with us. He's a stellar individual and business person. I highly recommend him for any consultation or work with your trees.

Fantastic company that really cares about the well-being of the trees. Daniel came out two years ago to help with a spider mite infestation that harmed our trees. Thankfully, Daniel was able to bring them back and the trees have thrived since then. Had Daniel and his excellent Team back this week for trimming and pruning the same trees. They did an amazing job. Knowledgeable, courteous, and very professional. Trees look amazing, healthy, and better than ever. Daniel gave me a reasonable quote and fit me in less than a week from when we discussed our concerns. Turned out he had to remove the tree due to its location being too close to the house for a tree with very invasive roots. He communicated well, was punctual, and downed the tree without disturbing my new sidewalk that was only a foot away. He left my yard very clean.

We had some trees damaged during a wind storm and Daniel came out with it a few hours of my husband contacting him (over a holiday weekend). He thoroughly discussed his plan to help our trees and was here first thing Monday morning to implement it. So far- the trees are doing great. Daniel was friendly and professional. He arrived on time and was good with communication. He removed a large orange tree that was way too big for my small patio. He was able to remove the tree and grind the stump down without any damage to the wall. I would definitely hire Daniel again.

Called this company because of the good reviews, only one bad one which said condescending... told him I needed some trees trimmed, he said two weeks out, no problem.. then he said he had another call and he will call me back... so apparently the other call was more important than a new customer..must be nice.. needless to say he never called back.. probably for the best...if this is how he treats new clients... he probably did me a favor...so thanks for nothing....

Daniel is wonderful! We have used him many times on our 2 acre property to take care of our desert trees - palo verde, mesquite, acacia, you name it. He is very reasonable and actually cares for the trees - doesn't just chop them. He's taken his work to an art form.

I had a tree planted 18 months ago by one of the “big guys”. It blew over in a recent wind storm. Daniel answered my call by coming over within an hour. He managed to upright the tree and stake it for me. He was responsive and professional. And his charges very reasonable.
