PHX Home Remodeling was great to work with for our bathroom remodel. Every employee we worked with was very friendly and genuine. They walked us through the entire process step by step, answered all our questions thoroughly, made the design process very easy, and did amazing work. Also, the area was kept clean during the entire process. The bathroom turned out exactly how we wanted. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

I worked with Holtzman Home Improvement on a full remodel. I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are a true on stop shop . Daniel the sale person was detail during the whole sales process. Carline the designer was excellent she bailed every detail . There design renderings match every detail. There trades were exceptional and detailed. We couldn’t have ask for better experience. Buyer beware. I almost did a remodel through this company and I'm so glad I didn't. Steve came to our house for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. The estimate was for $20,000. He charged about 20% more than other quotes we received. But I liked Steve so we went with him. The company then goes through a design phase which no joke takes about 2.5 months. The entire design phase they give us no quote. At the end of the design phase they quoted us at $65,000 for a very simple bathroom upgrade. Small bathroom, nothing fancy. We weren't moving walls. We weren't moving the tub, shower or sinks. No way it could be more than $25,000. They could not break out the price for us one bit. No price for the tile, no price for the sinks, nothing. They got mad when we asked them to break out the price. Seemed very very very fishy to me. When I called them out for being fishy, they left and we never heard from them again. We still gave them $1,000 for the design. I feel like this company could be running some kind of construction scam. I just don't trust them. Go with someone that you can get a bunch of positive referrals from.

I would give 0 if I could. I sincerely wish that we had the positive experiences that other reviewers seem to have had... it is hard to believe they dealt with the same company. I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience.

We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more.

To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix.

We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family.

The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and touch up work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible.

Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower.

He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied.

The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The under cabinet lighting was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets.

Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning.

When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our new toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up.

We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was trying to run a business, that it wasn't worth it to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a million dollar project that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last.

I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.

Back in early September my wife and I decided it was time to redo our kitchen. We’ve been wanting to do it for several years and have kept putting it off. I did a google search for kitchen remodeling in Scottsdale as that is where we reside. Of course there were a lot of companies that showed up which can be a bit overwhelming. We called several companies and asked about promotions or free quotes to see if we could figure out range or pricing. One of our big concerns was being over charged. At the end of the day we ended up selecting Lux Remodels. One of the biggest reasons was Jerzy the owner and Carl who worked with us every step of the way on this project. As described on their website we scheduled an in house consultation as we did with 2 other remodeling companies. The first thing we noticed right away is that they have a wealth of experience which immediately made us feel comfortable. They were organized and answered every question we had from expanding a section of our kitchen to add a small eat area to the timeline as we really wanted this finished before Thanksgiving. Lastly the cost was slightly less expensive than the other 2 companies which was an added bonus. As with any remodeling effort, it was noisy and we all had to make adjustments but the bottom line is that Lux Remodels was professional, on time and did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier. Make sure to talk to Jerzy. He’s the owner but he’s very hands on and seemed genuine in all of our interactions.

We contacted D&D construction for a small but significant repair to an exterior stucco wall. We left a message and received a phone call in a few minutes to schedule a visit for the following day. Dion was on time and give a prompt estimate. The work was completed the next day, efficiently and cleanly. Received a picture of the property showing the condition before and after the visit, and payment was done online.

These guys were great! Very friendly, responsive and QUALITY work! They installed an gigantic LED Mirror for me and upgraded other bathroom lighting. They also turned my ugly boring entryway wall into an amazing board and batten wall... I love it, would re-hire in a HEARTBEAT!

One of the best investments for my dad!. Derek and his crew installed a tub for my dad. Derek went over all options for my dad, to best fit him with a tub that would meet all his needs without trying to price gouge us. Installation was top notch,and Derek made sure to take his time with my dad to show him all the functions. he even noticed the towel rack next to the tub was loose and he replaced it with a hang bar to help my dad out. Thank you for making my dad smile again :)

We are in the process of remediating a complete remodel that had gone wrong with another builder. We tapped 4 GEN for the remediation and we cannot speak highly enough about 4 GEN Homes and David.

Background: we were new to Arizona and the previous builder we had hired to remodel our recently purchased home — after 16 months of ongoing workmanship problems and error — left us with a complete disaster and abandoned the project: having falsified their licensing, falsified their insurance, having not pulled a valid or legitimate permit, or having proper inspections done, and hiring many to perform work who were not licensed or properly skilled. You can imagine how difficult it would be to discover this after the fact, and what a complete mess and stress this would create in so many different ways. Any whole house remodel is, by itself, a daunting process in which you feel lost and need the guidance of an expert contractor. Given the difficult situation we were left with we needed someone to come in and not only do a whole house remodel (complex as that is), but, adding to that complexity, to remediate a remodel that had gone very wrong. Not many would be able or willing to take this on.

We are so thankful that we found 4 GEN Homes / David Mikes, and that he was willing to take on this huge problem for us. He is an amazing contractor — he listens, he is calm, always pleasant, very careful, intelligent, insightful, and experienced; and he speaks, consults, and guides us with the authority of confident construction expertise and extensive home building experience, and yet without ever presuming upon us. He is reassuring in how he counsels. He also has a cadre of vetted professional subcontractors he’s used many times and knows they can perform the work to an acceptable level — he’s not trying to find just any subs as he goes along. He takes the chaos of the situation and calmly organizes it and makes it seem manageable and clear, and he always wants to come to the right result and covers nothing up that needs to be done right. He is your advocate, not primarily an advocate for the subs or workers. He usually answers calls or quickly returns calls or messages and is always ready to help and address any concern — and he is usually way ahead of you in identifying any issue. If you bring it up, it’s likely he’s already on it. His eye for due care and detail is likely better than yours.

Another reviewer said David treats you like family. I would wholly concur with that.

Window installation - rapid and professional window installation. We are very pleased with the quality of the windows and are looking forward to better noise reduction and energy efficiency.

I was very impressed with the efforts of Steve, Lori, and his entire team, they did a really great job. They added a room to the back of my house, everything was meticulously completed from the initial foundation, to the final painting and trim.

After months of looking for a contractor that I felt I could trust and understood my taste to remodel my master bathroom I found Spicegirls. Loved the concept that they are a women run business. I do not live in the US at this time and in so all of our decisions, pictures ect. were done virtually. I was updated regularly. My bathroom has turned out beautifully. Highly recommend.
