Holtzman Home Improvement Home Remodeling
I am writing this review to warn others about Holtzman Home Improvement.
Project scope: Remodel of master bathroom, replacement of toilet and medicine cabinet in guest bath, new flooring and baseboards with replacement of closet doors in two bedrooms, and removal of window in laundry room.
Start/Completion Date: The contract was signed in May 2020. They were not able to start the project until early August 2020. According to our contract, the completion date was scheduled for mid-September 2020. The final completion date was January 18, 2021.
Quality of work: The quality of work is excellent. All of the workers did a great job.
Selection of materials: Grace did a wonderful job helping us pick out the materials to complete our job. She was responsive to emails and calls.
Communication: Holtzman Home Improvement uses a customer portal to view your bill, look at and confirm your material selections, make payments, and view the calendar to see when work is supposed to take place at your home. There were numerous days when workers were scheduled to come to the house and no one showed up. There were no phone calls or texts to let me know they were not coming or when they might be rescheduled for.
Salesperson: Our salesperson, Lee, was great. He came to our home and put on a presentation of what our bathroom would look like after the remodel. He was very charismatic and definitely sold us on using this company.
Project manager: Our project manager was Daniel. He was here the very first day that work began for demolition. After that, he only came to the house after I requested that he make a visit. He never showed up to just check on the work and make sure it was coming along well. At the end of the project, there was no final walk-thru scheduled. I tried to call Daniel and several times his phone voicemail was full and couldn’t take anymore messages. There were a few small items that we were told would be taken care of and they were not.
The owner: The owner is difficult at best. There were numerous times that we wanted to fire this company and at one point almost did.
Overall: Holtzman Home Improvement is not a company I would recommend. I would have liked to have had more communication about what was going on and when workers would be coming to the house. The work that was completed was done well, but there were many problems with the cabinets, both with ordering and with production, which is why our job took so long to complete.

PJH Construction Home Remodeling
Huge shout out to Tom (plumber) who came to our house today to fix a clog in our line that was causing the toilet to back up into the shower. He was efficient and knowledgeable and was in and out in about a half hour -- leaving a clean, flowing drain for us! I just contacted PJH yesterday to report this plumbing issue, so I was thrilled by how quickly they and Tom came to our rescue!

Dreamstyle Remodeling Home Remodeling
I hate my bathroom shower. I hate it with the white hot burning flames of a thousand suns. I spent a huge amount of money on this shower expecting an ADA type roll-in shower suitable for bathing a patient in a wheelchair. Nothing is as promised, and it looks and functions even worse as time goes on. Avoid Dreamstyle Remodeling at all costs. This has been the worst experience my husband and I have ever had with any home company in 35 years of owning many homes and rental properties. The shower is difficult to clean, dangerous, and uncomfortable for anyone to use. It is so inefficient that bathing my husband now has to include an extra 10 minutes of squeegeeing water back up the ramp onto the shower base. There are numerous failures; serious dangerous design flaws, failing caulk, and maintenance issues as well. These people act like experts, but I can now see the things they recommended were never going to work. The design was flawed to begin with. things that I specified in the plans were either changed during the construction or completely ignored. Water runs out of the shower and pools on the floor. A care giver wall that is 6 inches higher than was specified, so I have to stand on a 6 inch stool. I have slipped and fallen off that stool countless times. The materials are not what i expected, hard to clean and so fragile.
The shower base is far thicker material than I was led to believe. When we met with the designer he inexplicably did not have a sample of the shower base material. If I had seen the shower base material first, I never would have chosen this company. They talked about a transition strip but it is really a ramp. It will never give you a comfortable level-entry shower. The base material is very thick, heavily textured and easily damaged. Maintenance is a nightmare. It always looks filthy, even after scrubbing with a brush. It is easily damaged just from dropping bottles of shampoo on it. The shower base is so much thicker than regular tile that it needs a ramp to adjust for the higher level. My husband is a quadriplegic, and rolling him into the shower up the ramp always puts lateral movement on his neck and head, and it causes pain no matter how slowly I go.
Not only was nothing in the shower was done to the original specs as agreed upon, I now know I paid at least triple (300%) more than I would have paid a regular tile guy.
After every shower, I have to squeegee a large amount of water that runs out of the shower and pools in the middle of the floor. When I called the company and BEGGED them to open the drain they covered over, (the drain that was under the tub and is still there) they refused to do so. As a matter of fact the quickest response ever from this company was the letter threatening legal action and a lien on my house. While I was calling and leaving messages begging for a simple hole to be cut, they were sending legal letters.
This shower looks horrible, the base is chipped and dirty looking even after scrubbing. Not only was the caulking job the messiest I have ever seen when the shower was first completed, the caulk now has failed in numerous places. In order to sell this house I will have to rip out everything this company touched and re-do it all correctly. So much time and money absolutely wasted. Calling Dreamstyle Remodeling created a never-ending nightmare for me and my family.

Just Remodel ! Home Remodeling
Over the past 20 years, I lived through 5 major home renovation projects in my previous home. After interviewing multiple contractors for an extensive master bath reconfiguration in my new home, I knew that “Just Remodel“ was the real deal. They had competitive pricing and were clearly knowledgeable about the work needing to be done. I specifically asked who would be on the job. I learned that Don, the owner, would be working and supervising. That sealed the deal! Throughout the process, I was impressed that Don was readily available to problem solve the surprises that always come with renovation. The work of “Just Remodel” has stood the test of time, and, five years later, I remain delighted with my beautiful bath. I was so pleased with the results that I subsequently chose the company to remodel my kitchen and, later, for a guest bath face lift. I highly recommend Don Hughes and “Just Remodel.”

Graco Home Remodeling Home Remodeling
I hired Graco Home Remodeling to do repairs in the roof due to long-time water damage. After I contacted the company Ignacio showed up and performed a throughout inspection. He then proceeded to show me with pictures his findings and pricing.
His workers showed up on time, performed an excellent job and after the job was completed, cleaned up the whole area.
I was very impressed by Ignacio and his workers' professionalism. The job was finished with my complete satisfaction.
Next time, I know I can count on Ignacio to do repairs around the home. I fully recommend his services!

True Craftsmen. Dan and Danny did a flawless job with our new interior doors and cat door installation. Looks like they were always a part of the house. The Patio Pergola tho was much more amazing than I thought it could be. they took a very basic sketch i had and made a beautiful and sturdy construction that Im sure will last forever. it is well constructed, great quality and most importantly functional so we can enjoy our new shaded patio. They were very communicative, using text and email which i appreciate. Always on time and very respectful of the home. I will use their expert services again for sure. Thanks Guys!

Mesic Contracting LLC Home Remodeling
It’s been over a year and have not been able to resolve our issues with the poor workmanship on the tile that they replaced. Trying to get a credit so i can have someone do it and now not returning emails. Will call them next.

They refunded the monies from the work done on the tile. Just disappointed that I have to find someone to remove the tile they installed and get someone else to replace. The other work they did was excellent. Again, they need a professional tile installer.
