Everything was done great. I would definitely recommend them a five star for their great quality work.

We have a beautiful kitchen! We had very friendly and competent administrative staff and contractors. It became evident early on that their desire to have a satisfied customer was not only verbal but in action. As in most construction there are hitchups along the way, but big or small they were quick to make it right.

The renovation was a little above our budget, but we are really happy! You get what you pay for. The peace of mind of having responsible and trustworthy workers throughout the project made it all worth it!

Our remodel consisted of tearing out all existent (35 year old) cabinetry and “ceiling of lights” in the kitchen, installing new cabinetry, granite countertops and sink, tile backsplash, new dishwasher, disposal, and sink fixtures and recessed lighting and drywall repair. Scheduling for workers was done in an organized manner and an online calendar assessable to all interested parties was maintained with new updates when necessary. Everything was done in a timely manner, with an open line of communication from start to finish. We love the staff and all the contractors associated with TWD. Keep up the great work!

I would like to give a 1-Star review but to be fair, I will give a 2-star review because the job was completed. Just as a quick overview, I would not recommend Holtzman Home Improvement.

PROS and CONS List below:

PROS:

*Bathroom remodel was completed.

*Liked cabinet finishes and style options.

CONS:

*We were given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion but ended up taking 6 months.

*In contract, the introduction page says that Brandon Holtzman “… will personally meet you and visit your job site several times throughout your project to ensure quality and care is not only in the workmanship but also in our demeanor.” Never met the man; not even once.

*“Designer” which they refer to as “sales-person”, had a hard time keeping up with the demands of our project. Made numerous mistakes in terms of measurements that caused wrong products to be ordered and mistakes in the actual remodel. Assumed certain details about project without consulting us. Example: Cabinet above toilet was bigger than expected (inaccurate measurements) and overlapped on to the exhaust fan, “Sales-Person” assumed that we were just going to move the exhaust fan altogether; this would have cost us hundreds of dollars to move the fan 2-3 inches.

*Crew would show up whenever, sometimes not at all even though scheduled. Had crew show up at 6am without notice multiple times. Had to state over and over again for a start time that worked for my family; between 7-8am. Nothing ridiculous. No consistency whatsoever.

*Some of the crew did not speak English, which I absolutely didn’t mind at all. But Project manager, “sales person”, did not speak the language. I never expected to be the sole translator numerous times in person and on the phone. Because of this language barrier, numerous mistakes were made on our project.

*Crew would come to job site and not know the status of our project, therefore would ask me questions about what needed to be done, as well as certain technical details that only a professional would know (example: electrical).

*Crew would come to job unprepared and would leave to go to Home Depot for 1+ hours to grab material. Not sure if this is standard, but I believe that they should have been prepared for the day’s work at our project.
*Overpriced. Example: Updated replacement of bathroom exhaust fan that was picked up at home depot for around $45.00-$55.00 and less than an hour to install, cost almost $400.00.

*Project manager forgot to discuss details of our project to team so there were details that were left out. Example: Requested to have a shower bench installed; shower was “completed” with no shower bench.

*Project manager and “sales-person” should have communicated more in terms of our project details; numerous mistakes could have been avoided.

*Low quality of materials: tile/grout. Numerous tiles are cracked, chipped, and grout has already started to come out in chunks. Also, grout that was never wiped off, has solidified and won’t come off.

*Already have water damage; yes, water damage in a bathroom on a pony wall that neither the project manager and “sales-person” gave input on how to finish to avoid said water damage.

*Was double charged, and charged for work not done. Caught mistakes by thoroughly reviewing receipt and was reimbursed. If I didn’t catch these details we would have easily been overcharged.

*At the completion of the project you are given a 5-year warranty. We have recently contacted Holtzman Home Improvement to come and fix said damage and have not heard back; it has been a few weeks already.

*Their slogan is “People should do business with people they trust”; would not recommend.

These guys are great, easy to work with and reasonably priced!

We hired Praveen and his team to do a ton of repairs on the outside of our house as well as our stucco fence and paint our house. They also did a lot of stucco repair on our house and fence. They did a phenomenal job. They had a very tight deadline to work with and as we were planning a party and needed everything completed before then. They were on time, very professional and did an excellent job!

I had an extensive remodel done in my condo and the Legacy team of Richie, Deb, and Derek worked with me the whole way. The quality of the work was outstanding and the customer service was the best. Highly recommend this team for your planned project.

Republic West remodeled our master bath.
Staff was most profesional and took a direct personal interest in getting the job completed on time and to the highest of standards.

This review is written after contracting Stronghold Remodeling for our master bathroom remodel. We removed shower/tub combo and created one large walk in shower. Trevor and his team did an amazing job with our remodel design and install. He was professional, timely, and fun to work with. Trevor made the process easy from start to finish! We thought we would spend forever deciding what design to go with but he walked us through all the considerations. He turned around the installation in the timeline he promised (during COVID, to clarify) and was patient when other workers impeded his workspace. My master bathroom looks phenomenal. We will use Stronghold Remodeling again on any project, highly recommend!

We first met Tony, the owner of Ruidoso a few years ago when he was working for another company. At that time Tony did an outstanding job on the remodeling of our bathrooms. Since Tony has formed his own company we have used him for several jobs around our home. We are always impressed with his professionalism, his attention to detail, his knowledge of construction and his quality workmanship. He and his crew are easy to have around and easy to work with. Ruidoso excels at customer service. Tony responds quickly, arrives on time, works hard and leaves the worksite in great condition. We would not hesitate to recommend Ruidoso Remodeling and we will use them again in the future.

The Hochuli Design team recently completed a home office remodel for us. They were the most professional, timely, and detailed team we have ever worked with. John, the project manager, was detailed and kept us informed daily. We are pleased with the result and highly recommend to anyone considering the Hochuli team. 123 Remodeling team did a great job on my fairly large kitchen project. They remodeled a very dated kitchen, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the experience. Their team is outstanding: professional and responsive. Their designer provided great guidance and was wonderful to work with. Project manager, Ben, kept all running smoothly and handled any and all of my questions. I now have a kitchen I can really enjoy. I highly recommend them!

I had the pleasure of using Rhino Construction to help repair a 600sqft section of roofing. Due to builder flaws, this section has always been a problem. Through years of wear and tear from the sun and the rain we did get, we had tried repairing it ourselves to save money. It failed numerous times and that led us to needing a professional who was licensed, bonded, and insured. I found Rhino Construction via Yelp and was in contact with them in less than 24hrs. Everando came to walk and provide an estimate within a few days and the job was scheduled within the following week. Everando and his team meticulously repaired the roof while keeping us informed of any hidden damages that may have come up in the process that should be addressed. The job was done in 3 days and contact with Everando was consistent, timely, and professional. When doing a final walk through for the underside of the roof where drywall and painting was required, some touch ups were needed. Everando was on the phone with his team and they responded to complete the work same day.

Overall, I am happy with the work completed, the time it took to completely , and the value that was delivered. Thank you Everando to both you and your team for a job well done. We will gladly be using you in future projects where possible.

D&D construction is the best General Contractor we have ever worked with in two states and five houses over the last fifty years. They are honorable and professional and will do whatever is necessary to make the job right and to the satisfaction of the homeowners. They stand behind the work of their subcontractors and will take on any job large or small. We would give “the Boss” Dion Horton our highest accolades and a ten in overall performance.

We couldn't be happier with the 4 bathrooms they remodeled for us. It was definitely worth the wait!

I had a house fire in November 2021 which caused extensive damage. Bethom Contracting was on the scene the night it happened and I chose them to reconstruct my house. They told me it would take about 8 months for me to move back in. It ended up being closer to 11 months. The delay was caused by supply chain issues, Covid 19 staffing issues with the permits and my mtg being sold to another company in the middle of the claim. Through all these hiccups, Bethom continued to work through these and said it would be completed by my birthday. They met that deadline! The house is beautiful! They were always a phone call and/or text away. They answered my questions and addressed any issues I presented them with - no matter how small or big. Alina was wonderful to work with. She was very empathetic and sympathetic to my situation and how stressful and emotional a house fire can be for someone. I highly recommend this business.

We received great service from this company. They replaced our roof and painted the interior of our home. We also had new carpet installed. They answered our questions , addressed any concerns and made us happy. I really appreciated their professionalism.

The Apollo team built a beautiful enclosed bar in our game room. This project required demo of an existing smaller bar wall and a large closet to create the new space. From the beginning of the project to the end, Tyler and his team took great care to keep the project area clean and contained. The subcontractors used were professional and of the highest quality. The supervisor of this project communicated with us proactively and also responded to any questions we had along the way in a very timely manner. Most importantly, the end product is beautiful and we are very happy with our new bar.
