Was very pleased with Retro Pro - Eric and his team of professional employees were great - to include Angela, Steve, Oscar and Blake. Two bathrooms were completely remodeled and both were completed timely with excellent workmanship on the remodel. New showers, tub, toilets, flooring, cabinets and paint. Could not be happier with the outcome and promptness of getting the work completed. Minor warranty issues came up but resolved quickly. Again highly recommend this company for any work you want done in your home.

Wow. I can't say enough about this company and their employees. From the very first meeting I knew my research had paid off. Eric and Angela helped me pick out details and style when I was unsure but were never pushy. They were also incredibly accommodating with my crazy work schedule. Steve the project manager was great and I always had him as a point of contact if I had any questions. And Oscar and Blake were incredible workers. They let me know every day when they were on their way and when they had left. And they cleaned after every single day. If I ever move or need another remodel they will be my first call. After working with other remodel companies and big box stores, I learned my lesson the hard way...Retro Pro is the way to go!! Do yourself a favor and call them. You won't regret it!

Two years ago we had Retro Pro remodel our guest bathroom, and because we were so pleased with their work my wife and I decided to have the dynamic team work their brilliant magic on our master bathroom. Once again we were impressed with the final outcome. It is always fascinating to witness Eric and Angela’s creative design come to fruition in addition to the talent, dedication and exquisite workmanship of Omar and Blake. (We specifically requested Omar to be our project manager because he is awesome!) What was unique about our second collaboration with Retro Pro is that my wife was (finally!) fully involved in the process. As a result she insisted on writing her own personal review, which I’ll post below on her behalf:

“I'm a person who does not like to get involved with any kind of home maintenance/remolding and rather leave that all to my husband to deal with. But since meeting with Retro Pro, Eric and Angela are such a dream to work with. They both have such a wonderful warmth and you can tell they care and love their job and make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and include you in what they do to make sure you are happy. This same warmth trickles down to their staff, Omar and Blake, who are true caring professionals that help bring Eric and Angela’s vision to life. I'm also putting in a request to Retro Pro to please appreciate and hold on to Omar and Blake real tight because I want them back sooner than later to remodel our kitchen next! :)”

With that said, and without going into too much detail, there were a few issues that occurred during the tile phase of the project that did not involve Omar and Blake. In brief, there were a few questionable actions by the “tile guy” that delayed the completion of our project. However, despite the inconvenience it was nothing that Eric did (or could) not quickly and efficiently address with our complete satisfaction. Interestingly, we did end up benefiting as a result. So, it was a blessing in disguise. Our only hope is that this particular team member learns from his honest mistake for we do believe that he is great at his craft and means well.

It is always a joy and pleasure working with the entire Retro Pro team and we will without a doubt work with them again for our future home project(s)!

RetroPro is one of the best in the Valley. They are very professional all the way through the project. They are VERY detail-oriented and make sure you get exactly what you want. They help up-front with ideas for design but ultimately enable the homeowner to achieve their vision. The workers are top-notch; they show up at the same time every day, wearing masks, and are very courteous and humble while in your household. I found their work to be reasonably priced for the quality we got!

We interviewed 4 companies up front for a major kitchen renovation - walls & doors removed & added, plus full counter/ cabinet/ floor/ backsplash. Also included new lighting & A/C ducts & moving appliances. Taking 1979 fluorescent lighting & tile counters into 2019.

Eric (owner) & Angela (design) got the business because they were honest and timely - the only proposal to come in complete and on time. RetroPro was not the most or least expensive, but definitely the most responsive.

The process was very smooth - we made decisions early to get materials on order, and started the work 3 weeks later with a 7 week estimate for completion. They explained every step, and really listened to what we wanted and paid good attention to our style & budget & everything. Eric's proposal for moving things around and making the overzsize pantry into a mud room was very clever.

The job started on time, Omar was great with letting us know status, and respecting our home while they worked - kept things as clean as possible. There were a few minor tweaks during the tear down and build up, and the team always explained our options and resolved everything beautifully. Having Angela assist with design decisions on the fly was particularly helpful!

We couldn't be happier with the results. On time and no surprises. The workmanship and materials are excellent ... and that's expected when you hire a full service contractor to do the work. What was unexpected is finding this gem of a small business with people who are hard working and honest, and really care about what they do.

Retro Pro did an AMAZING job with our bathroom remodel! Could not be happier with how everything turned out; the attention to detail, the design tips, the extra little touches, like having rounded edges on the shower walls/corners - all of it adds up to a spectacular remodel.

Eric and Angela did a great job helping us step-by-step through the process, beginning to end, and Max and Junior did a fantastic job on the remodel itself (as did the rest of the project team). They'd let me know when they were coming over every day and would show me progress made, answer my (many) questions, and kept in touch with us while we were out of town as well. You'd think having people in your house day after day tearing out walls and what not might be challenging or disrupting to your normal schedule, but it wasn't - and that's really due to Max and Junior, such great guys who made the process easy and fun. We highly recommend Retro Pro and will certainly be using them again in the future!

We had Retro Pro remodel our kitchen in our 1982 house in Tempe. Their work was excellent as always. They had done our master bath in 2009, I believe, and our guest bath a few years after that. They are not the cheapest but that is not really what you should be looking at. They don't start a job till they have ALL the supplies needed and the crew to do the work. We couldn't be happier with our bathroom remodel from Retro Pro. From the initial consultation all the way through the construction, the whole experience was very positive. We recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Retro Pro and are very happy with the results. We found that Eric (the owner) and Angela (the designer) were very easy to deal with. They came up with several good ideas and suggestions which we implemented that improved the project.

I hired Retro Pro to remodel my guest bathroom after interviewing 4 companies. Their pricing was similar to 2 others, but not the lowest. From the first contact through the final walk-through, Angela and Eric were extremely professional and easy to work with. Nestor did exceptional work, kept me informed of progress and what to expect, and even perfectly matched the wall texture in the adjoining den. They started my project when they said they would, finished in less time than expected, and kept on-budget, which was remarkable considering it was the original bathroom for our 1950s house. I love my new guest bathroom and I highly recommend Retro Pro. They will certainly get any of our future remodeling business.

I am so happy with my kitchen/family room words cannot even describe! When I wanted to do my remodel there was never a doubt that Retro Pro would be the company to do it! I have used them over the years and was excited to team up with them to do a complete transformation. I had Retro Pro do the remodel on my kitchen in October. I always wait a couple of months before posting a review, because I like to make sure I really love it and find anything I don't love. From the beginning Eric and Angela were professional and prompt. I am not a veteran remodeler, and they walked me through the process made suggestions about product and layout. Once the work started I could not have been more pleased. Omar and his crew were the cleanest construction crew I have ever seen. They were prompt with showing up to work, stayed on schedule (even ahead of it) and before they left at the end of each day things were swept and put away. I loved the finished work, but the icing on the cake was when Eric came and took finished pictures, he noticed in the pictures that the drawer handles on two of the cabinets where not centered, he called me told me of the problem (I had not noticed them) and ordered new drawers. Best of all I know I have a warranty and would feel totally comfortable calling them is a problem does arise in the next year. Thank you Retro Pro for all the work.

We had 6 different estimates for our kitchen remodel. Most of the contractors that visited our home said, This is a big job, which didn't instill a sense of confidence. When Eric & Angela came into our home, they immediately understood our vision and made it seem almost easy to accomplish. After having researched remodeling in our area, the price was in the range of what we had anticipated and very competitive. What made them stand out for us, was their shared vision for the project, the in-house crew, and the attention to detail.
Eric came up with several ideas for our layout that we had not even thought of and created a truly custom and beautiful kitchen.
Omar's craftsmanship and attention to detail made it obvious he has years of experience. Any challenges our older home presented, he and his crew handled without issue. Omar was very friendly to our kids, and never made us feel like we were in the way in our own home.
Angela provided advice on design to make the space feel cohesive with the rest of our house. We originally thought pendant lights would make the kitchen feel too small. She strongly recommended we go with them, and we absolutely love them.
Steve was always reassuring to me when I was having trouble picturing the kitchen during the remodel. He was always just a phone call away.
We were very happy with our entire remodeling process with Retro Pro. If we had to do it all over, we would definitely choose them again. The only thing friends and family say when they see our new kitchen is, Wow!

Retropro remodeled my master bathroom as well as my second bathroom. From my first meeting with Eric and Angela to the final walk through, it was a wonderful experience. They worked with me and my budget to give me improvements to my home that I love. Retro Pro remodeled two bathrooms and two office areas in our house recently. The professionalism of this company is top notch. Eric and Steve came out to our house and pulled together a very good bid for these areas. They suggested some ideas based on their experience and put zero pressure on us. They truly listened to what we wanted and made valuable suggestions. At the showroom, Eric and Steve were joined by Angela who helped us with design ideas. These three truly understood what we were looking for and they could only have done that by being attentive to our desires.

When it came to the actual work, Nestor and his crew were outstanding. Their work was carefully done and they took whatever time was needed to make sure the work was done right. They went above and beyond to make sure the site stayed clean and always minimized dust. Nestor was great about answering our questions, and he always double-checked with us on any parts of the job he wasn't 100% sure about.

All-in-all, it was a great experience to work with Retro Pro. Most remodels are full of headaches and cost overruns, but NOT this one. Every individual from Retro Pro was friendly, kind and very professional.

We selected Retro Pro for a major remodel project (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, wall/slider to the outside, and whole house flooring) after getting quotes from 4 different companies. We went with them because of Eric's vision after he heard what we were trying to accomplish, the time and energy he and Angela spent on us just to get an initial quote, and the trust and respect instilled in those first couple of meetings. Our gut was spot on! This huge project was such a good experience with Eric, Angela, Steve, Omar, and the rest of the staff! Incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We got a free quote for our bathroom remodel before other companies we reached even scheduled a call. The owner, Eric, was always ready to answer our questions, and he came by for a final walkthrough to make sure everything was perfect--he was more thorough than I was. We needed to have two of our bathrooms remodeled; our master bathroom and family/guest bathroom. We had three companies come to our home to give us estimates and ideas. Each of the first two sent one person for the estimate. I was disappointed after meeting with them. Basically, all I received was an estimate price of what it would cost to complete and absolutely no design concepts or architectural ideas. I then contacted Retro-Pro and made an appointment with Eric and Angela. They arrived on time and spent approximately one hour going over the project. Eric offered architectural/building ideas while Angela gave design details. I was impressed. They offered information that I had not previously considered or knew. They explained that all the workers that would be at our home are their employees and that nothing is subcontracted. They gave me an exact price on what our project would cost and we made another appointment to meet at their design studio to go over tile and fixture options. They began work on November 14th and the final walk through was on December 22nd, 2016. They assigned a Project Manager, Omar, and he was in contact with us daily as to the progress of the project. He answered all our questions during the construction and addressed any issues or concerns that we had. The construction crews respected our home by using plenty of plastic sheeting and heavy duty paper to protect our belongings and our floors. Angela and Steve, Project Supervisor, would stop by every few days to monitor how the project was progressing. We now have two beautiful bathrooms that we will enjoy for years to come. Angela’s design talents shine every time we enter one of our bathrooms. We are so grateful that the project was handled start-to-finish with such professionalism and with the utmost respect for our home. The craftsmanship is second to none. I would not hesitate to hire Retro-Pro again or to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a low-stress, highly-professional company to create a beautiful kitchen or bath environment in their home.

We had our shower & bath tub remodeled a few weeks ago & honestly could not be happier. Retro Pro did a phenomenal job with our Master Bath and we would use them again for future remodeling and/or recommendations. My husband and I met with Eric and Angela last year to discuss remodeling our very tiny master bath. We wanted to incorporate part of the closet to make room for a tub while also redesign the bathroom to feel more spacious. They were very interested in our ideas while also being up-front with what would work within the space available.

Eric and Angela were patient on deliberating with us. And, after closing in on a final plan we quickly chose our finishes with Angela's help. We had met at our place to take measurements and Angela had gathered information on our tastes for colors, cabinets, countertops etc. She was ready when we came to their shop with options that would fit our style. Because we travel, the work would be done while we were out of town. This worked great for us and everything was done without a hitch. Eric's attention to detail and the ability to articulate the information via texts and phone made communication easy. Additionally, Steve, the production manager and Nestor the project manager were in communication daily with comments and pictures via text. So, we always knew what was happening. The finished product was better than we could have imagined.

We used Retro Pro for a guest bath remodel in 2013 and were so pleased that we used them again for the master bath and, as before, we were really satisfied with the results and the whole process. Eric and Angela met with us initially at our home and then again for a design consultation at their showroom. Angela was very helpful both in the design process and during the construction. The work encompassed
a total tear out of the existing bathroom, removal of a sunken tub, and a dividing wall. Two narrow windows were replaced with a single window involving the reworking of the stucco exterior. A new bathtub, tile surround, tile floor, new lighting and cabinets were installed. Nestor, our project manager, and the crew were professional, competent, very accommodating and polite. Eddie did a great job with the tile work as
he had done for the guest bath. It is nice to see a lot of the faces that were with the company four years ago. Communication was excellent and the project was finished on schedule. Although they are not the cheapest in town, the quality and peace of mind was well worth it and we highly recommend them.

Retro Pro is a very professional company to deal with. They have just completed a major remodel of two bathrooms in my house and I was very satisfied with the planning, construction, detailed final inspection processes and finished product.

The works crews would call each morning with an ETA when they expected to arrive. At the end of each day a meticulous clean-up would be done. The project manager performed periodic inspections while the work was ongoing, and once the work was done, he did a very thorough inspection.

We met with a couple remodel companies and ended up going with Retro Pro and we are so glad we did. From the first onsite visit to the finished product, Retro Pro was professional, reasonably priced, and our shower turned out fantastic. Everyone at Retro Pro was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely contact them on future jobs.

We can't say enough great things about this company! We knew it was going to be a little pricier than some of the competition that came out and give us quotes, but boy was it worth it! Very pleased with the outcome of a total remodeled house. Eric is great at envisioning change/options that made my small home much more efficient. Angela, the consultant/designer was wonderful in helping with choosing all items and colors so that everything came together with professional results.

Eric and Angela were very helpful with the design of our kitchen. They are very easy to work with, have a lot of good ideas, and have good pictures of remodels they have completed. This helped with explaining their ideas. They listen to your ideas and try to work them into the space.

The staff showed up at 8:30 am every weekday with only a few exceptions. We were notified of those exceptions at least a day ahead. They were very helpful as we were living in the house while the construction was in process. They tried to keep the place livable. They also closed off rooms where they were working with plastic sheeting so as to keep the construction dust down. They cleaned up every evening before leaving.

The trades showed up when scheduled. We did not have many week days where work was not in process.

The time estimate was six weeks, and the actual was five weeks. We love our new kitchen and it is very easy to work there. We were so impressed with this project, we are having them back to remodel the shower area in the master bathroom.

BEWARE-THE OWNER DOES NOT OBTAIN PERMITS REQUIRED BY THE CITY TO DO PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WORK. HE ALSO DOES NOT USE LICENSED ELECTRICIANS OR LICENSED PLUMBERS. Needless to say our remodel was a painful experience. It lasted months longer than it should have...due to a worker dropping a drill on the brand new vanity marble top and the owner wanting me to be ok with them filling the hole. No way..we paid for a new vanity we wanted a new vanity..not a new fixed vanity. Sadly we weren't able to get a new vanity because the 3 times they tried to replace it..each vanity showed up damaged..so we had to settle with a fixed marble top that you can still notice a hole in. The BIGGEST issue was that the workers hooked up our above stove microwave into the lighting circuit. Had the owner gotten a permit and used a licensed electrician...this giant mistake would not have happened. Each time we would use the microwave...the power would go out. This happened because they were supposed to add a new circuit strictly for the microwave...since it takes a lot of power. Sadly we had to file a complaint with the registrar of contractors in order to make sure the owner got the permit AND a licensed electrician to do the job. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THE OWNER GET PERMITS! In an email from the owner he said he doesn't get permits because it's a waste of time and money! WELL IT'S ALSO ILLEGAL. Also..we got brand new kitchen cabinets that took months to correct. From doors being different sizes..to cracks and dents. Owner wanted to brush it off saying they are up to standard. It's up to standard to get brand new cabinets with dents and cracks? We did end up getting a discount for the cabinets because we finally just settled with some of the flaws. Also...the workers were careless as they did not cover our brand new granite counter top before setting all of their tools and supplies on it. We did hear that the owner demoted the worker that was on our job because of the electrical problem. However...I put full onus on the OWNER as he did not have a licensed professional do the job like a LICENSED contractor is supposed to do. There were a myriad of problems...part of my piano getting broken when they moved it...my couch getting scuffed up and having a person come out and airbrush my BRAND NEW couch. It was a horrible experience. We still have a little over a year left of our guarantee to fix things should other problems occur. Praying there won't be something wrong with the plumbing since they did not use licensed plumbers either. Also...I have MS and this experience sure flared it up! Needless to say...we did not get a wonderful gift basket like Angela promised us after the project was complete. One would think since you messed up so bad...you would have given us a freaking gift basket! Oh well...here's to hoping the job is actually complete.

Retro Pro just completed a total remodel of 1 of our bathrooms, everyone did a 1st class job from start to finish. My wife and I couldn't be happier. All the work was completed ahead of schedule and the crews always kept things neat and clean every day. We have another bath to do and wouldn't think of using anyone else.

Previously had two bathrooms renovated by Retro Pro. This time we moved out for renovation of entire interior: all new floors, baseboards, ceilings, crown molding, painting. Great results, house looks like new. The team did a super job, worked extra hard, and enabled us to move back in earlier than the quoted time!

Be careful - Just because they are licensed, bonded insured. The owner did not get a permit to add a bathroom and now 3 yrs after spending thousands of dollars the shower pan is leaking. He refuses to take responsibility for it. The city I live in made him pay for the permit after the fact. The ROC complaint I filed did nothing be cause of a 2 yr warranty. But doesn't change the fact that he knowingly installed a bathroom without a permit. And maybe he knew it wouldn't pass inspection because it is now leaking. So much for trusting the pro's.

Dont waste your time calling unless you have a large kitchen project. Tried getting a quote for my bathroom and laundry room (which has more cabinets then most kitchens) but said wasnt worth their time. Remember me and others when times are slow!!!

The entire RetroPro Team did an awesome job. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish.
