Buyer beware. I almost did a remodel through this company and I'm so glad I didn't. Steve came to our house for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. The estimate was for $20,000. He charged about 20% more than other quotes we received. But I liked Steve so we went with him. The company then goes through a design phase which no joke takes about 2.5 months. The entire design phase they give us no quote. At the end of the design phase they quoted us at $65,000 for a very simple bathroom upgrade. Small bathroom, nothing fancy. We weren't moving walls. We weren't moving the tub, shower or sinks. No way it could be more than $25,000. They could not break out the price for us one bit. No price for the tile, no price for the sinks, nothing. They got mad when we asked them to break out the price. Seemed very very very fishy to me. When I called them out for being fishy, they left and we never heard from them again. We still gave them $1,000 for the design. I feel like this company could be running some kind of construction scam. I just don't trust them. Go with someone that you can get a bunch of positive referrals from.

TWD really got me out of a jam when an inspector discovered a damaged attic truss in my condo attic. Facing a short turnaround time to sell my condo, I searched the Internet to find an available repair company licensed to do residential structural repairs. TWD responded to my request and understood my short timeframe. Within a few days they had inspected all of the trusses, taken several photos, and given me a plan for repair. They set me up with their online project site where I could track their progress and download photos. All contacts by phone and in person were friendly and professional.

A few days later the repairman came over. He covered the floor and walls surrounding the attic entrance. While making the repairs, he photographed each step, and was done and gone within an hour.

I forwarded the photos and the project contract and receipt to my realtor, putting to rest any concerns the buyer might have.

In summary, this was a simple job costing me less than $400. Yet TWD treated me as if I was a long-time customer. I will certainly call them for remodeling work on my new home. I highly recommend their services.

We had a negative experience with the design team at the Good Guys. We were very disappointed and felt we got a better design with another company. We also saved 20% by going with another contractor and there was more work within scope of our project.

The price is not cost effective just be aise it is over top of existing. The sales person glossed over the 3 day cancellation. We mistakenly thought he had said 30. After 2 weeks, which we thought we had to change our minds we decided we didn't like the what they had as far as selection, and couldn't find one that we could live with for the next 50 years. They didn't care, and would keep 33% of the total cost if we wanted out. I think if the sales person made a effort to stress the 3 days, I would have backed out. Beware.

Keith and his crew were incredible to work with! Very professional, courteous, and priced well. I couldn’t be happier with our countertops! As someone who has updated and remodeled several homes in the last few years, working with Keith was the easiest with the best result. All of my other installs had something go wrong, but Keith’s crew installed everything perfectly and on time. I have gotten nothing but compliments on these stunning countertops from everyone who sees them! I will absolutely use Keith and his crew on any and all future installs with complete confidence. The Legacy team went above & beyond in remodeling my master bathroom & home.

Legacy’s design team of Debbie & Jeremy helped me select materials & fixtures that worked with the existing character of my home to bring the looks together. The rendering Jeremy did helped me see how the space could be reconfigured & added touches that I never would have thought of that did not measurably impact the cost; they were small items such as a different placement/curvature of a wall & different type/placement of a drain. The thoughtful initial design really made a difference in the final product.

Craig was the superintendent & was fantastic. He handled any issues that came up during the remodel. Craig also, in overseeing the day-to-day work & trades, brought up small tweaks that, again, didn’t really impact the cost but made a big difference to the final look & functionality of the space. He really understood what I was looking for & had awesome ideas that the professional tradesmen & Legacy’s inhouse master carpenters were able to implement right on the spot, such as a different way to light our new sauna incorporating a hard-wired switch, complete with a stained glass effect & creating a built in look for my sauna. Craig also spent weekends working on making my master closet exactly what I wanted and beautiful too (solid pine). I really appreciated Craig’s technical expertise & making my remodel flow smoothly.

Legacy’s inhouse professionals were truly hard working experts at their crafts. Scott, Floyd, Steve & Greg made everything just look gorgeous & also mentioned little things they could do to really make things come together. Scott & Floyd, along with Craig, spent a lot of time creating my master closet & getting the shelving semicircle look/functionality I was going for, including Scott creating a wrap rod design. Additionally, extra matching solid wood around my sauna was added to enhance the look & even the relatively small tasks, such as making baseboard pieces such that they curve around a wall, were done incredibly beautifully by Scott. Floyd created 4 more build in closets made of solid wood that are very sturdy & maximize the closet space. He also installed my front door & master bath cabinets. They look phenomenal & most importantly, work perfectly. I believe many companies can procure nice materials but, without expert installation, it may not be quite right or not hold up well over time. The last two inhouse professionals were Steve & Greg. Steve took great care to make sure things were done how I wanted them, even small things such as hooks at an optimum height & configuration. Greg installed my half wall cabinets in my living room & made them look elegant with the way he built out the baseboards. The inhouse Legacy experts brought out the materials & design to their full potential.

In addition to the folks directly employed by Legacy, they work with a great network of skilled tradesmen. I was really happy with everyone who came into my home. Everything looks flawless, especially the tile work for my shower bench & built-ins. Ken painted my home inside out & made the walls look better than they were before by patching & fixing them, even items I had not noticed before. Everything he did makes my home look polished. Ken also put in/designed a new gate for me that is really stunning as it has an aged wood look.

On a practical aspect, Legacy also made sure that the materials were up to par. They sent my new front door back to the manufacturer twice because it did not meet their standards. It gave me piece of mind that they were making sure things were done correctly, even if I might never have noticed it.

Lastly, on a personal note, all of the Legacy folks were really great to have in my home & were always very flexible with an eye towards making everything about my remodel perfect. Legacy took the initial idea of what I wanted for my remodel & made it something really extraordinary.

We had the pleasure of working with Tim at Affinity. He is a smart designer who really understands the whole construction process, and I'd call him a great communicator who speaks kitchen fluently. I say that, because prior to meeting Tim, we had no idea of the incredible amount of choices and options we'd wade through to update a 20-year-old kitchen. Our goal was to improve the functionality of the current space, take better advantage of a great mountain view, reuse a few of the more recently purchased appliances, and create a warm and elegant space. Tim came over to see our kitchen and immediately made some great suggestions. He really educated us on the whole process and answered our questions patiently and thoroughly. We went from not really knowing what we wanted--or even liked--to creating a kitchen that we absolutely love. It gets rave reviews, makes me happy whenever I'm in it, and just works so much better than the outdated one. Everyone at Affinity was a joy to work with! Mike, the installer, was a true craftsman. Mike and Drew, the contractors, were spot on when they said that Tim is their favorite designer to collaborate with because of his talent and attention to detail.

We replaced our shower with a new walk in acrylic shower with a seat and shelves. Our service guy was Macio Lewis. He spent 4 days and was absolutley fabulous. The job was very involved and included concrete work, plumbing, soddering copper, sheetrock, and moving the drain and more. He was very professional, efficient, and prepped that surrounding area to avoid a mess. He cleaned up after the job and did an exceptional job work. I would highly recomend his services and hope he is recognized by your company. He was delightful and knew what he was doing. Well done Macio!

I left a message regarding an inquiry to build out an ADU in my back yard with a receptionist. Even though Scott's company is limited to the East Valley, he gave me a call back explaining that he could not work in Glendale because it would be cost prohibitive to do so. Regardless of a logistics problem he called me back to inform me of this and answered a ton of questions regarding my endeavor, even though he knew he could not receive my business. There are not that many people these days that would spend time and call you back, this shows his integrity in business. Again, thanks for answering my basic questions and the referral Scott.

If there is one contractor in the state of Az that I trust, it would be Ben Shoval. After dealing with Az slimy contractors, Ben presented himself very honestly. If I had an issue, he took care of it. He took our feedback with grace, and dignified it with a positive result. He also hired 2 very nice steady subcontractors that did an amazing job. We will use him again for future business.

We worked with Hunt’s Kitchen and Design to update our cabinets and would highly recommend them. After getting multiple quotes for the project, they stood out from everyone. They were by far the best to work with on creating the design and in all aspects of communication. They were the only designers who really tuned it into a collaborative process, which eliminated the multiple iterations required by the other people we got quotes from. This resulted in us having a final design and price from them in less than half the time with even more attention to our needs and to how we would use our kitchen. Although we don’t have the biggest or most expensive kitchen, Josh and Jeff made us feel like they were genuinely excited about working with us on the project, and you can tell that they really care about their clients.

Every time I have worked with my dad, i've seen his clients always happy about the quality of his work. They enthusiastically tell me that they love his work. He has people calling him from years ago to do other refinishing projects. There has even been times where he fixes the kitchens that were poorly done by other contractors and his clients see a huge difference in quality. With over 20 years of experience in this industry he knows how to refinish beautifully.

I cannot recommend Earthen Co Interiors enough... Having never used an interior designer before, I was a little hesitant, not knowing what to expect but Emily Johnson KILLED IT! I immediately fell in love with her portfolio and approach to design. The process is thorough and collaborative to ensure your taste is not only captured but cohesive and aligned. I promise you she is a magician and will transform your space beyond your wildest expectations. I get compliments ALL THE TIME and it's now the preferred spot for all social festivities. She is truly a magnificent talent and I can't wait to see what impact she'll make in the industry. If you're thinking of using an interior designer, please please please hire Emily. It's money well spent and I guarantee you will be left picking your jaw up from the floor...

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this business for my bathroom remodel. From the onset,Mike and the team assisted me with the vision I conveyed - The crew was always punctual, polite, hard working, respectful, and kept the work areas covered to avoid soiling the carpet. The project began and ended on the dates promised at the signing of the contract. When I had questions my calls were always answered - excellent customer service! , and there is no doubt I will use this business for my future home improvement projects! My bathroom looks just beautiful!

These guys made us a beautiful bathroom. They were hard-working, thorough, efficient, and easy to contact throughout the process. I have heard about a lot of nightmare contractors and these guys were the opposite: dependable, honest, and fair. I definitely will use their Builders Express Handyman Service Phoenix services in the future and would recommend their company to everyone who's looking for a trustworthy remodeler without any hesitation.

Ordered all new windows and slider in November 2020. We had to call constantly after 60 days to find out the status of our windows. In early February they were finally installed, but all four windows had scratches, dings and nicks on the frames and weren’t sealed properly. The contractor got angry with me because I asked them to correct it. The owner came out and made us promises, and never followed through. They ordered, through our warranty, for new windows in February 2021. We have not heard a word from them since. Now no one will return our phone calls emails or texts. And they expect us to pay for a faulty product. Terrible
