We hired Hochuli Design & Remodeling to do a pretty big job for us, updating a mid-century house in Tempe. The design phase was enjoyable. Lorrie did a great job understanding our sense of style to come up with a plan for a kids’ bathroom, entryway storage, new fireplace facade, dining room, and of course a beautiful kitchen. Decisions were made in a timely fashion and they were willing to modify the plans a couple times to get the budget into our preferred range. Construction went smoothly and quickly and we appreciated the daily reports made available to us. In addition, the billing was handled in a very organized and convenient way, with electronic payments made easy via their website. All in all we are very happy with the way the house turned out and we would use their services again if we ever needed to do another project.

Scottsdale Kitchen & Bath has far surpassed all expectations. They have been an incredible company to work with starting with the initial visit and renderings. Premier Kitchen and Bath completed multiple projects in our home including installing cabinetry in the kitchen, library shelves and desk unit in the home office, and designing and installing a one-of-kind vinyl record storage cabinet in the media room. Their craftsmanship was more than impressive and every guest in our home has raved about the beauty and workmanship of the projects. We highly recommend them for any home improvement projects.

Working with the insurance was a nightmare! Ken worked with the insurance and got my tile covered. I had water damage under the tile and the insurance was refusing to cover it. I am so happy with my home. Sometimes I still feel like I’m house sitting. Hard to believe that this amazing new home is mine!! ?

I could tell right away that I wanted to work with Ellie and her son Ivan. From the very beginning they were both extremely professional and informative. I remodeled my old master bathroom and closet and the end result was well worth the money! They took my ideas and were able to build exactly what I described to them. We sincerely recommend Project Construction LLC for any home project. We design and manufacture custom cabinetry for Robert Valenti and worked with him to design and make all the cabinetry for his project. The entire project was so clean and well managed. The level of professionalism and expertise was exactly what we enjoy working with. We hope to be working with him again soon.

We initially hired DRC to complete some plans for an extensive renovation to our Scottsdale home. Dale made representations about their ability to do architectural plans, engineering calculations and also complete the construction. We should have read the signs early, he was an hour late to the initial meeting and then, during the next 9 months it took to get the plans finished, there were lots of mistakes and omissions. It felt like I was marking homework from a pre-schooler. Every time the next set of plans were provided there were omissions, mistakes and forgotten items we had spoken about at previous meetings where I had kept notes.
Dale never turned up with any notes, never took any notes and rarely remembered anything we spoke about. His attention to detail is lacking and his pricing is ridiculous. He wanted $27k for a portable potty rental and $8k for a new hot water heater!
The initial budget was $650k and this was confirmed to be still on track at a meeting in May (8 months in) where we requested an update as to when the plans would be finished and when we could get a bid. We finally got a partial bid in August after putting pressure on him, the bid came back at just under $1.3M (admittedly there were some optional additions included that would have reduced the price by circa $150k if removed) however the bid was still $500k over all of his estimates. We now have a set of plans that we paid $12.5k for that are useless as most of the items we designed were based on the pricing advice of Dale coming in at circa $650k. They will have to be re-done by a real builder. DRC pretends to be a one-stop-shop with all trades on staff, however, they work out of their house and rely upon outside trades to do all the work.

It seems like DRC are a “mom and pop” outfit that are playing outside their lane. They need to keep putting up garden sheds and leave the real building to professionals. Do yourself a favour, KEEP LOOKING!

Retro Pro is a very professional company to deal with. They have just completed a major remodel of two bathrooms in my house and I was very satisfied with the planning, construction, detailed final inspection processes and finished product.

The works crews would call each morning with an ETA when they expected to arrive. At the end of each day a meticulous clean-up would be done. The project manager performed periodic inspections while the work was ongoing, and once the work was done, he did a very thorough inspection.

Brian and his team previously did a major remodel of my master bath including removing soffits, installing new cabinetry, counter tops, plumbing, lighting, freestanding tub as well as expanding the shower,. They did an excellent job, showed up on time and worked daily on the project through completion. Aside from their high quality work, they adhered to my budget and communicated regularly throughout the project.
Brian and his team just finished a major redo of my laundry room , replaced all our can lights with LEDs throughout the house, added four can lights to our family room and master bedroom as well as replaced our water softener. They did another phenomenal job.
I've recommended Brian to a number of my clients and colleagues who have all been pleased with his performance.

Nick and Mustache Approved Remodeling has been great to work with. They were professional, friendly, and honest. We had them lower a bar top, and replace our counter tops and install a back splash. Everything looks great and we will definitely use Mustache Approved Remodeling in the future.
