We did a complete remodel of our master bathroom and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience working with Phoenix Home Remodeling! Starting with the initial design phase and ending with a very timely and professionally executed project plan. If you're looking for a contractor who is 100% committed to customer service, and doing what they said they will do, you don't need to look any further! Exemplary project management, regular communication, and fantastic workmanship.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

From the initial meeting to project completion it was a good experience. Derek answered all our questions and even helped us obtain a Veterans benefit that we were not aware of. They are thorough, responsive, and all members of the team are friendly and professional. They have insightful advice and they did a great job of listening to what we wanted. They guide you through every step and make an overwhelming process stress free. We love our new bathroom and highly recommend!

Called and left message for an estimate. When they called me back 3 days later they said they were 90-120 days to even give me an estimate. Need project done sooner.

My husband and I hired Ben from Champion Remodel. Ben and his team gave us the quality we were hoping for. We are very pleased with the results. We hired him to re-do our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and all the flooring throughout the entire first floor. All of the finishes were purchased by us and Ben put the whole job together! The first estimate from another popular place I won't mention sent a guy out that just seemed bored with his job and I didn't feel like he was listening to a word I was saying.

From the beginning Ricardo was awesome. Really honest and upfront about our roofing project. I quoted four other valley roofing and remodeling companies and Graco’s product was the same and their price was really competitive. Went with them and are really happy with the result of the work and the customer service. Day before work was scheduled it rained and our roof finally started leaking, called Ricardo and he came out same day, covered it with a tarp (while it was raining) and he also went into the attic to check it out. Next day work was started and finished in two days. Excellent crew, solid work. Thank you Graco!

We recently purchased a home in Peoria that was in need of updated finishes, paint and flooring. Being from out of state, we did not know who to contact. We were very lucky to receive a referral to Veny, and his business, AZ Granite and Remodeling. We had interviewed other contractors who did not seem interested in taking on the project. We found Veny to be quite different. He was eager to listen to our vision for the project, and he offered reasonable suggestions to save time and money. It was quite obvious that he knew what he was doing, and he gave us a written quote, which was very reasonable, after our first meeting. HIs crew took out the old worn floor tile, then replaced it with new tile. The entire indoors of the house was freshly painted. A kitchen island was constructed and new quartz countertops were installed throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. We couldn't be happier with the results, the timetable for completion, and the price we paid. We highly recommend AZ Granite and Remodeling.

Steven did the transformation of the main bathroom in our house! He not only arrived on time everyday, but early! He was very thorough and very friendly. Since I have to little ones in the house, he left the exhaust fan with us so that we could continue to pump out the fumes. The smell wasn't too bad, just very strong. We used Kirk for a kitchen remodel about a year ago. They are high cost for low quality work. They took three times as long to complete the kitchen (almost a year and with no materials delays mind you) causing us to bring home our newborn child to a house with no functioning kitchen. They didn’t complete the work to plan, misplacing the island and throwing off the entire layout. When we made complaints, they spoke a good game about taking responsibility but didn’t take any corrective actions. A year later from the reno and the cabinet draws they installed are falling apart, the plumbing they did beneath the sink fell apart causing water damage to the island. We highly recommend avoiding Kirk construction at all costs.
