Best Shingle Tile Metal in Phoenix AZ

We solicited several bids to re-roof our home. It had a tile roof that was over 20 years old. We selected Renco based on Yelp reviews, interactions with sales staff and price.

Keith, from sales was excellent. He met with us several times to answer questions. We are the type of customer who reads the contract and marks it up. Keith/Renco negotiated revisions with us. They also developed a plan to replace the roofing membrane while reusing most of the existing tile. None of the other bidders offered this option, which saved us a good deal of money.

Renco was ready on the date specified in the contract and completed our roofing project in 3 days. The crew assigned to our home had all worked for Renco for a number of years. They worked well together and appear to have done a fine job (next rains will tell). The yard was cleaned daily after work was completed. We bought them pizza on the last day. Job well done - Thanks Renco!!

Nothing but great things to say about Phoenix R&R. Jack was always responsive and engaged with our project, even though it was probably one of the smaller projects he was managing. We felt like we were his only clients! He was flexible with our timelines and availability, and was responsive when we called, e-mailed or texted him. I can't remember a time he didn't respond to one of our messages on the same day. He never tried to over-sell us, or up-sell us on products or services. We told him what we wanted done, he gave us advice on what things that we could probably do on our own (to save money), I'm not sure all contractors would do that. Reliable, available and holds his sub-contractors to high standards. He was at our house checking on progress regularly. We can't wait for the next project he can do for us!

Horrible service

Clyde showed up unannounced, looked at the roof and gave me a reasonable bid. The repair consisted of a one inch bed of black tar paste and a common two-by-six from Home Depot that didn’t match anything else on the house. The worker did not inform me that the job was done nor that he was leaving. I just get a call to pay. Horrible work and customer service just as bad. Had several other companies come out to give me quotes to repair the bad job that Hardacher did. They were all very surprised! Buyer beware! You get what you pay for sometimes.

These people take advantage of veterans! They lied! They try to take all your money that an insurance company gives you to fix things after hail damage! They promised to take care of everything and don't do anything but threaten to take out a lean on ur house! Come in to ur house start ripping things apart and use scare tactics on u so they can rip u off!! They charge you for things other roofing companies do for free! Like putting plastic on your house to protect it and they don't even cover your whole roof. 2 days later it blows off your roof and they never come back to fix it but yet want $3,000. And then they tell you a new roof would cost you $15,000 and they charge you $21,000. Don't use this company just a big rip off!!!!!!!!!

As a design professional, I selected Canyon State roofing based on their stellar reputation in the roofing industry. Jim McClain is one of the most honest men I have ever met. His word is his bond and that is everything on the construction business. And the work crew that was assigned to my house was also stellar. They showed up when they said they would, they took the time to explain technical details and they cleaned up after themselves every day. They were professional, friendly and honest. I can't recommend Canyon State roofing enough. They are an outstanding company.

This company did a great job in replacing our roofs for a multi-family community. They are highly knowledgeable and skilled and got the job done on time and on budget. I also want to mention that their customer service and progress reporting went above and beyond any other company that I've worked with in the industry. I will definitely engage them again in the future should I need more roof repairs/replacements!

A job that was supposed to only take around 6 days ended up taking more than four weeks. That was after they realized they put the tiles on UPSIDE-DOWN at about 70% completion. We had to clean up the yard several times ourselves as they just threw waste on the ground and left it there during monsoon season. Now, several weeks after they've been paid, I've been calling every day to get close out documentation. Nobody returns my voice mails (since they won't answer) and no documents received. Probably one of the WORST home repair experiences of my life.

Always quote very accurate and finish the job on time. Great customer service and very responsive. Highly recommend this company.

Best roofing company in the country with the most qualified installers !!!

Whoever was driving truck 934 today in phoenix on I10 needs a driving lesson, or revoked license. The guy is zipping in and out of heavy traffic, no signal, on his phone the whole time. Way too dangerous. We drive a large truck and felt as though he should cut close in front of us. Not a good image for your company.

Best Roofing Company in the Valley.

I recently used pinnacle roofing to replace he underlayments on my roof. The job itself appears to be well done, however they left a mess behind when they were done despite the contract stating that they were responsible for cleaning up all debris.

As background, I was scheduled to have our roof done in mid July, however pinnacle called me in late June to see if I’d be interested in having them come early. I was going to be on vacation was assured it was no problem as they did not need to access the house.

The mess started they day before I left for vacation which was the first day they started working. After work, I came home to find our pool filled with debris and nails that could’ve wrecked the pool cleaner. When I called pinnacle to explain the issue and my concern given that I’d be out of town, they told me that the pool should’ve been tarped and that they would take care of it.

I returned home from vacation after the job was complete. I immediately found ~10 large nails in the driveway that could’ve easily wrecked my truck tires. I also walked to the backyard to find all of our plants dead and the pool water dangerously low. I later discovered that the water to the house had been shut off while I was gone and not turned back on.

I called pinnacle about this and while they did come out to inspect the quality of the roof work itself, I received no apology for the nails or the water being turned off. Instead I was told that they didn’t turn the water off to the house and that it must have been someone else despite them being the only ones at the house that week. When I asked to be refunded for the $200 we paid to replace the dead plants, they would only credit $100 (this was a $12k project). Their lack of accountability to the sloppy cleanup job by their team makes me think this is a common experience with this crew. If I were to do this job again I would use a different company.
