This is my third time choosing Canyon State Roofing. They did a full roof replacement for me in 2015, a minor repair on our patio in 2019, and a roof inspection for us in February 2022. I have been extremely pleased with their work . Canyon State Roofing has been professional, easy to work with, and is a quality-oriented company that stands behind their work. For our most recent job, we had a roof inspection done on a home we are buying. In order to meet our 10 day inspection period, Jim was willing to work with us to get the roof inspection done within just a few days, even though he was scheduling at least a couple weeks out, he managed to find time to help us. Canyon State Roofing did an excellent job replacing the underlayment on my tile roof. From the beginning, meeting with Jim to see which option of roofing material worked best for us, to working with his foreman, Miguel who began and completed the job, was a pleasant experience. They were professional and courteous. Jim explained our options and answered all of our questions. Miguel and his team cleaned up daily…….we never knew they had been at the house, except for the changes you could see on the roof. We were kept up to date with the process. We discovered a leak in a roof after a recent monsoon storm. We called Canyon State the next morning and Jim came out later that day. He inspected the roof, took pictures and gave us our options. We received a detailed quote the next day which we decided to proceed with.
Once the quote was agreed upon, Jim's crew began work within a couple of days. They cleaned up any mess at the end of each day and worked hard and efficiently in extremely hot weather. The work was completed in the time promised.
We are very satisfied with the job and would definitely recommend Canyon State Roofing.

I recently had my tile roof replaced by Canyon State. I am beyond pleased with the entire process. Jim explained everything when he came for the estimate and laid all of the options out clearly. Miguel and his team did an amazing job with the roof replacement. They cleaned up every night before they left and made sure that the sections of the roof were secure in the even of any weather. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs a roof repair or replacement.

Well from start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Jim and his company! From first meeting I knew he was the one for the job. Got that gut feeling he would do everything he said. Contract was complete nothing hidden explained well and I signed up for my roof replacement. I have ocd so I explained that I needed clean! Miguel was a treat! He showed up ahead of crew and we went over everything and next day crew showed up as scheduled and started. Miguel again did follow ups via phone text and in person! Jim needs to make sure that he keeps Miguel was very satisfied! The crew was great hard working in rain a few times but always cleaned up daily so I could continue to live my life and my family could enjoy outdoors. Great job very satisfied and would use again or highly recommend Jim Miguel and the great crew of guys!

Jim and Miguel were incredible. We had a 20-year-old roof that begin leaking through the ceiling. They gave me a very competitively priced quote and got the roof done swiftly with no issues. Additionally, Miguel resurfaced our balcony himself and did an exquisite job. Would recommend and use them again if I needed to! Thanks guys.

We scheduled with Canyon State based on the knowledge and integrity displayed by Miguel during his evaluation of our roof prior to quoting the Removal and Replacement project.
He walked the roof examining the condition and found that a number of tile had slid out of place allowing water to get under the tiles and thus migrate into the ceiling/wall of our garage. No other quoting contractors noticed this issue.
The best part was when He voluntarily repositioned the tile temporarily fixing the problem and affording us some flexibility in scheduling.
Miguel and his crew were experienced and professional, cleaning up daily and providing timely progress and scheduling updates as needed.
The job included some minor modifications to the flashing system to help improve the directing of rain water and a transferable Manufactures and Contractors warranty.

Had some scheduling issues but Jim made things right. Work is to be done on Tuesday.

Update. Roof was repaired Tuesday. Workers were friendly and did a nice clean up which I wasn't expecting. No further leaks with the monsoon. I will use them again when I'm ready for the full roof underlayment replacement.

I recently had my entire house re-roofed by Canyon State Roofing. The job was well done and completed in a short time. I was very pleased with both the quality of the work and the final appearance. I had several areas where the plywood and fascia needed to be replaced in addition to new underlayment throughout. I had one concern that I’d contacted Jim McLain about, and he promptly responded and solved the issue. They did a great job. In addition to the quality of the work, I was also pleased that the workers were friendly and respectful of my property. They were very careful not to damage the landscaping or other things near the house, and even cleaned and blew off everything each day. I’m pleased to highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

As a design professional, I selected Canyon State roofing based on their stellar reputation in the roofing industry. Jim McClain is one of the most honest men I have ever met. His word is his bond and that is everything on the construction business. And the work crew that was assigned to my house was also stellar. They showed up when they said they would, they took the time to explain technical details and they cleaned up after themselves every day. They were professional, friendly and honest. I can't recommend Canyon State roofing enough. They are an outstanding company.

15 years after construction, our house sprung a small leak. Jim came out to inspect and identified the cause, which occurred from poor workmanship around a vent when the house was constructed. After authorizing the work, the crew updated the entire section of roof around the leak and restored the tiles as they were before. Not soon enough, because the night after work was completed, we had a storm and the leak was no more! Overall, beautiful work and done sooner and faster than I had expected.

On the day of my roof installation, Canyon State's friendly crew covered my entire yard and plants with heavy duty tarps to prevent damage and, after the job was completed, the team carefully removed the tarps, swept the driveway, went over the yard with a magnet for loose nails, and disposed of all leftover debris, leaving my yard safe and tidy. Throughout the installation, I was kept apprised of the schedule and any issues. My new roof is beautiful and will protect my home for years to come. More importantly, I have every confidence that should there be an issue, Canyon State will make it right. I give them my highest recommendation - impeccable!!!

Jim came to the house to inspect my 30-year old roof. He gave me a guestimate to replace the roof after climbing up and taking some pictures. His estimate came in at the same level a few days later. The crew showed up when expected and the job finished in about 10 days (there were a few break days in between, but I was expecting that). My neighbors have all replaced their roofs recently, and their tiles were distinctly color mis-matched. I was pleasantly surprised that I don't see any mismatches in my roof tile color : ) I did see 2 spots I didn't like--the tiles didn't lay well along a couple features. I called Jim and he had the crew back out to fix within a day, no push-back or extra charges. Now it looks great.

I vetted 5 companies to replace my 35 year old roof back in May and had all five on sight to inspect, measure and give a bid. Most of bidders explained what they would do etc. Jim's (Canyon State) bid included a lot of items that other companies listed as additional charges. Altho Jim's bid was not the lowest it was the best detailed and worked with me when I wanted roof vents installed and saved me a lot compared to the others. His work crew tore off the old roof and replaced it in a timely manner. They cleaned up area daily of debris and finished the job on time and cleaned entire yard of any nails/staples. I would recommend Canyon State to anyone who needs a new roof. I've already had 2 area neighbors inquire about who did your roof.

We were referred to Canyon State Roofing by a friend, after our roof began leaking in 2 places. We submitted a request for information online and they responded immediately to set up an appointment. Our roof was repaired quickly and we have not had a problem with those leaks since. We really appreciated that they returned calls right away, they were friendly, and they made the process easy and stress free! I would absolutely recommend Canyon State Roofing!

Canyon State is a Roofing Company that I would recommend to anybody who wants a real professional team doing their home. I had my whole house done including my patio. The Company is licensed, bonded and insured, so their are no worries there. Everything was done in a timely manner and clean up was superb. The company explained exactly what was going to be done. They even gave me a little one on one about roofing and the difference between materials roofers use to do the job and I felt they had the best materials and the best quote I got out of 5 others. I am a very happy homeowner.

I can not say enough praises for this roofing company! They arrived within 4 hours to do an emergency tarp service after a storm. Upon inspection Jim decided they could just as well go ahead and do a repair for us instead. We were very thankful because it rained even more that night. We will be replacing our roof very soon with them . Thank you !!

Canyon state roofing did an excellent job and paid attention to detail. They thoroughly explained everything to us and before and during the entire installation. They cleaned up every night before leaving and covered things up to reduce any mess. They even finished a day earlier than expected even though it was really hot each day. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing their roof replaced.

We got our roof underlay replaced last year (2018). We had a few issues with leaking in a couple spots and they had to come back several times for repairs. They were stubborn leaks, but in the end it got resolved. Overall, I would use them again and would recommend them to friends.

over all our experience was very good. the bid was very detailed and we knew the price for additional lumber, plywood, etc., as needed. This was the main reason we gave Canyon State the job. The crew was friendly and if I had any questions they answered or got the answer for me. The only glich was the deck coating color and that got resolved quickly.

We highly recommend Canyon State Roofing and would use their services again. The crew was very efficient, the company is easy to communicate with, the price was right, and they beautifully repaired some minor damage to the stucco.
