Best Plumbing Leak Detection in Denver CO

I received a quote for some simple plumbing work; it was more than double the other quotes I received and I never received the email quote to have in writing (which he claimed to have sent while still in my home). Also, the service tech said he thought we had a gas leak and to get a carbon monoxide detector. A carbon monoxide detector will not detect a natural gas leak. He said he could fix the leak for almost $400 if someone could bring him other equipment because he doesn’t do that very often. I am so thankful I did not choose to use their services. I called the city to come check for a leak. The tech didn’t charge me anything and said we don’t have a leak using his natural gas leak detector. I have a 2 year old in my house. Had I followed the Heart tech’s advice, it could have potentially put my life and my child’s life in danger. I would recommend always getting a second opinion.

They did a huge job on our house and were very friendly. They worked so hard to make sure everything was done well and that the whole job was completed. I am very happy with their work!

It was easy for me to get an appointment for some electrical issues,when I called in to the main office. When the technician arrived he was dressed very neat and was very polite. He did a good job on the repairs and talked with me in detail about the billing, so I knew exactly what he did.

I hired Sonny to repair an exterior door that had been damaged. The door itself, as well as the frame and drywall inside the home were damaged quite severely. I thought I would have to buy a new door and frame and a new piece of drywall but Sonny was able to repair all the parts. He cut wood to replace the broken frame board, viced the door itself and filled the crack down the edge that faces the jam and put a patch in to fix the damaged dry wall. He also fixed the locking mechanisms and reset the door so that it would close more tightly. I was very concerned about getting this exterior door fixed in a timely manner and Sonny was able to get it done very quickly. I also had a damaged sink, which he provided a consultation on and advised me on how to approach the replacement. With his input, I was able to complete that job myself with only the cost of materials. Sonny has very fair prices and I would recommend him and Vigil's Handyman Services.

Great experience with Dr. Fix-It. Their technician Shane was very competent and friendly. I had a terrible experience with a plumbing problem this summer with a different company (starts with an A- I was way over-charged.). When we had problems getting heat, we stalled because we wanted to find someone we could trust. We decided to try Dr. Fix-It. I was thinking ... well their reviews are better than that OTHER place. But I was still worried. No need - Dr. Fix-It is Fantastic! It was very reasonable and we feel great about being able to count on them in the future! Shane is the kind of person you like to have fixing things in your house. Clean, knowledgeable and helpful. He's proud to work for a company that has a great reputation. A BIG 'THANKS' to Shane and Dr. Fix-it!

I should have submitted this review sooner. Our heater went out at the beginning of Winter 2022 right as it was going to be below 30 degrees outside. We panicked as a family as we have a young toddler. Applewood heating responded within a day and got us scheduled for an inspection for new installation. They had a plan and estimate for us quickly and worked very fast to get the work started. I believe from start to finish it only took a few days. Their employees were extremely pleasant and worked incredibly hard to get our heater going again. They even served me after they found out I was a Packers fan and the employee favored the Vikings :) Afterwards they even sent a little goody tin with chocolates as a way of saying thanks for our business. I would highly recommend them for any home needs you may have.

Jose and Andrew were fantastic. Very professional and thorough. They were able to clear our main line and we are good to go! (Literally! Haha)
