Best Electrical Problems in Denver CO

We had a very poor overall experience with Mighty Bee and I would not be able to recommend them based on this experience. I want to be fair to Mighty Bee that most of our issues came with what ended up being horrible customer service and follow up and not all work related. I was treated with defensiveness and outright contempt by Martin across multiple emails and phone calls after the service. I'm not overly sensitive, but I can't think of another experience where I was treated as the enemy simply by questioning the finished product which I was not happy with and had multiple code violations. We purchased an electrical panel upgrade for an older home we bought in Arvada that had a 1960s junction box. Things were fine in terms of initial quote and appointment set up. I got back from travel and the panel was upgraded and as he left the house he mentioned to me in passing he could upgrade my kitchen to GFI (which will be required for a house this old). But that was the last I heard from Might Bee. They admitted later that they flat out forgot to follow up not only with me to confirm everything went well but with the city for the required inspection. But that was only because I followed up a few weeks later after my GC informed me that most of what Mighty Bee completed would have to be redone and also that much of it was not to current code. I raised this with Mighty Bee and this is when things went south.

Again to be fair to Might Bee, a panel upgrade seems to be quite an arbitrary service based on what electrician you work with. I would highly recommend you do thorough research on not only what your home will need in total but what exactly is covered in the cost of a panel upgrade. Costs clearly vary based on inclusions. From my side of things and also 2 separate electricians (one who is simply my next door neighbor and had no financial skin in the game), Mighty Bee did the absolute minimum required in a box upgrade. The result was circuits were shared where they would normally (and now have been by another electrician) split so that half of the house didn't run on a double barred circuit. Things like running dryer lines separately are also required by current code, and by simply asking a few probing questions to the customer the electrician would should able to make recommendations about required upgrades, but genuinely upsell their own service. I got none of this from Might Bee. But when I questioned the work completed and cited advice from these other electricians, Martin at Mighty Bee reacted with anger and defensiveness, accusing the electricians of sabotaging his work, and calling them idiots and other accusations about trying to bad mouth him. Once again, one of the electricians was just a neighbor checking out our remodel. I didn't even ask him specifically, he took a look at the new box and brought up 5+ code violations and questions as to why Mighty Bee would have chosen to leave a new panel in that state given we were doing a full remodel and almost certainly would have a lot more electrical changes needed. As it turned out we did have to completely update the homes electrical set up. This meant that the work Mighty Bee completed has now been completely updated and we wasted $3,300 on the panel upgrade and had to deal with a complete jerk in Martin from Might Bee. To add insult to injury we told Mighty Bee we didn't want to have have them come back and requested a refund for the $370 to source a license (free and done online) and inspection, which he did over 3 weeks after the service, and only after I notified them. I requested a refund for that portion of the bill, to which he flatly refused with yet another contentious and rude email.

Once again, I want to say that inherently Mighty Bee's panel upgrade wasn't wrong. But again it was clearly the MINIMUM needed. Combine that with the responses we dealt with from Martin make it impossible for us to recommend Mighty bee.

I contacted Electri-serve to replace my service panel and they sent Mr. Kessinger to give me a quote. Mr. Kessinger was professional and knowledgeable and gave me a great price. I then email Mr Kessinger on 5/21 saying I'd like to hire them he responded on 5/21 saying Stacey will get with you to schedule a date for the work. Today is now 7/24 and I never heard a peep from the companies scheduler Stacey so I hired JW electric and paid the extra 300 for a company that will actually contact you back and schedule a date to preform the work you are trying go hire them for. In the future I will not even waste my time with Electri-serve if they can not even be bothered to contact a customer that is trying to pay them for a service they say they do. Do not waste your time

I highly recommend Brian. He contacted us in advance. Showed up on time. Listened to our problems and concerns. Had several great ideas to solve our problems. Was very positive, and explained all options to us. We are looking forward to our installation tomorrow.

These guys were friendly, straight-forward, and saved me about $3,000.

Justin and his apprentice were prompt, courteous and professional. Justin is extremely knowledgeable and explained all recommendations and repairs in detail. He was able to troubleshoot and repair past work done by another company. I highly recommend Justin and will use his company for any further electrical work needed!

Daniel has been awesome!! He installed an electrical outlet in my wife’s office closet and, most recently, wired up the heater and light for cedar barrel sauna that I built. It required its own panel switch because of the higher electrical requirements and he did a great job!! Works great, everything looks seamless, done to code and he’s very professional!! Gave me a detailed estimate and was very easy to work with!! Highly recommend.

Came home to a washing machine not powering on from being out of town the week of Thanksgiving. Starting a new job the following day and a duffel bag full of dirty clothes, the inconvenience was obviously magnified. Pat adjusted his schedule to rewire a 'rotten wire' in our old home to get us back up and running ASAP. Pat was great to explain the issue, give us a reasonable quote and even completed the job UNDER budget! Discount electric will be me go to for any future electrical needs!

Uli's response to the install was quick and yet took the time that everything would be perfectly in place and it met my mom's high standard of satisfaction. Robert (Master Electrician) is an Amazing professional! All Electrical Systems, LLC did a fantastic job modernizing the lighting in our newly purchased home. We changed out dozen's of fixtures as well as upgrading our ceiling cans to LEDs. Additionally he expertly rewired parts of the house, as needed, and upgraded over a 150 outlets and switches! Anthony Linares did a great job. Gave me a number of options to choose from price and risk wise. Our furnace was in a constrained cellar. Spent 14 hours straight to swap out the old furnace and rework all the exhaust lines. Came back to fine tune and make sure it was working the next day. exceptional customer service. Gave us space heaters overnight while we did a furnace swap out and came by late at night after his last appointment to drop them off as promised.Fabian was also an exceptional worker. He didn't stop until the job was done and was very polite to our family.

My master bathroom electricity and an entire wall of outlets in my master bedroom stopped working. I was recommended to contact Allied Wiring Services from a coworker due to great work they completed at his home. I called Friday afternoon and they came Saturday morning. They immediately discovered that the issue was due to an outlet in my bathroom. Not only did they fix it, but they provided in depth details about how it was caused and recommended I get the remaining outlets in my home fixed as well to prevent further issues that could lead to a fire. As a mom of three kids, this information is highly invaluable. Also, they were done from start to finish in less than 30 minutes leaving everything clean. I will be using their services in the future to complete the recommended work, as well as any other electrical work I need done. I will also recommend them to anyone I know.
