Best Electrical Needs in Denver CO

We had a very poor overall experience with Mighty Bee and I would not be able to recommend them based on this experience. I want to be fair to Mighty Bee that most of our issues came with what ended up being horrible customer service and follow up and not all work related. I was treated with defensiveness and outright contempt by Martin across multiple emails and phone calls after the service. I'm not overly sensitive, but I can't think of another experience where I was treated as the enemy simply by questioning the finished product which I was not happy with and had multiple code violations. We purchased an electrical panel upgrade for an older home we bought in Arvada that had a 1960s junction box. Things were fine in terms of initial quote and appointment set up. I got back from travel and the panel was upgraded and as he left the house he mentioned to me in passing he could upgrade my kitchen to GFI (which will be required for a house this old). But that was the last I heard from Might Bee. They admitted later that they flat out forgot to follow up not only with me to confirm everything went well but with the city for the required inspection. But that was only because I followed up a few weeks later after my GC informed me that most of what Mighty Bee completed would have to be redone and also that much of it was not to current code. I raised this with Mighty Bee and this is when things went south.

Again to be fair to Might Bee, a panel upgrade seems to be quite an arbitrary service based on what electrician you work with. I would highly recommend you do thorough research on not only what your home will need in total but what exactly is covered in the cost of a panel upgrade. Costs clearly vary based on inclusions. From my side of things and also 2 separate electricians (one who is simply my next door neighbor and had no financial skin in the game), Mighty Bee did the absolute minimum required in a box upgrade. The result was circuits were shared where they would normally (and now have been by another electrician) split so that half of the house didn't run on a double barred circuit. Things like running dryer lines separately are also required by current code, and by simply asking a few probing questions to the customer the electrician would should able to make recommendations about required upgrades, but genuinely upsell their own service. I got none of this from Might Bee. But when I questioned the work completed and cited advice from these other electricians, Martin at Mighty Bee reacted with anger and defensiveness, accusing the electricians of sabotaging his work, and calling them idiots and other accusations about trying to bad mouth him. Once again, one of the electricians was just a neighbor checking out our remodel. I didn't even ask him specifically, he took a look at the new box and brought up 5+ code violations and questions as to why Mighty Bee would have chosen to leave a new panel in that state given we were doing a full remodel and almost certainly would have a lot more electrical changes needed. As it turned out we did have to completely update the homes electrical set up. This meant that the work Mighty Bee completed has now been completely updated and we wasted $3,300 on the panel upgrade and had to deal with a complete jerk in Martin from Might Bee. To add insult to injury we told Mighty Bee we didn't want to have have them come back and requested a refund for the $370 to source a license (free and done online) and inspection, which he did over 3 weeks after the service, and only after I notified them. I requested a refund for that portion of the bill, to which he flatly refused with yet another contentious and rude email.

Once again, I want to say that inherently Mighty Bee's panel upgrade wasn't wrong. But again it was clearly the MINIMUM needed. Combine that with the responses we dealt with from Martin make it impossible for us to recommend Mighty bee.

Slava and his team did excellent work. They installed a sub panel on a garage, re-ran a circuit in my house, and installed some heaters. I don’t have the greatest understanding of electrical work, but they explained things very well and were transparent with their work.

Their pricing was the best out of the bids I received for the work, but it doesn’t seem that quality was sacrificed in the slightest.

I already have referred S Star Electric and will continue to do so.

We did a total remodel on an 100 year old farmhouse and The Electric Co. did a great job! Chris was in charge of installing all new wiring throughout the home. We upgraded our service to 500 Amps and added two service locations for future projects in addition to installing the new electrical panel for the main service to the farmhouse. It was not your typical job but Chris was able to troubleshoot and see the job through completion.
Chris did a great job and I would definitely recommend him and The Electric Co. for those in need of an electrician 💡💡💡

Matt arrived exactly when I was told he would and did a great job! He was very professional and also a very friendly and nice guy. Things were set up perfectly and I'm very happy with my second new ceiling fan that they've put in. This is the third time I've called Legacy Electric and I'll always recommend them to others.

I called other places but when they came out gave me bid I felt comfortable with customer service and knowledge of my issue so I went with this company of course I was satisfied with time of completions and the work done. I highly recommend.

Finding a business I can rely on is wonderful. They have a great deal of expertise and talent. Our switches and ceiling fans were installed superbly by Electricall. I was impressed by how professional this business and its employees were throughout the process.

These guys will be my go-to electricians going forward. Punctual, affordable, friendly. They were available for a whole house aluminum mitigation sooner than any other company, and helped with a variety of other electrical touch ups — ceiling fan replacement, GFCI safety, etc. Worked straight through for nearly 7 hours without even taking a break. Unreal! Absolutely the best — highly recommend.

Amazing electrical job in my bathrooms

I had a terrible experience with the new owner of this company. The old owner was a great man and did fantastic work. The new owner is unethical and dishonest in her business practices and dealings, and also in the quality of work that she delivers for a premium price. When hiring these types of people, we are putting ourselves at the mercy of their expertise. I myself am a novice about anything electrical. Please don't trust these people to do the job that you need to get done. They did my entire job incorrectly and charged an astronomical price. The new owner doesn't take pride in the quality of her work, and her prices are double what the other companies are charging. Do your research, get quotes from other people. Save yourselves the headache and the money.

Overall, really really pleased with the work that was done. The technician also identified other areas that needed fixed sooner than later, especially for safety precautions. I will definitely use these guys again for any of my electrical needs. Outstanding.

Justin and his apprentice were prompt, courteous and professional. Justin is extremely knowledgeable and explained all recommendations and repairs in detail. He was able to troubleshoot and repair past work done by another company. I highly recommend Justin and will use his company for any further electrical work needed!

While ultimately I didn’t schedule the work with The Electricians due to unrelated circumstances, I would highly recommend giving them your business. Quick to respond, quick to schedule and show up on time and reasonable priced estimate for a relatively small job. Not to mention Tony is very personable and knowledgeable in his trade. Local, small business that is one you’ll want to retain and consider for your electrical needs.

My sewer nightmare began with a sudden sewer failure at approximately 9:00 PM two days before my house was supposed to go on the market. My nightmare was banished by the arrival of Jon Miller of Doctor Fix-It.Jon provided spectacular service, and the entire time it was clear that Jon cared about more than money--he cared about my satisfaction, his company's reputation, and HIS reputation. (Of course, a good reputation brings more money--but that's just good business.) He was the only person of the three companies I contacted that ensured I understood the worst case scenario in advance. As a result, I knew I had three increasingly costly potential outcomes.Incredibly, Jon worked to make sure I only dealt with the least expensive solution. Even when all seemed lost, and when I was only moments from needing to spend $5,000 more on my sewer repair, Jon and his equally dedicated tech, Detlef, continued working. NOT Discount. Quoted me $320 to drop a wire down the wall and install an outlet. Seemed high on its own but he was at the home already, so I agreed. Completed the work and then returned to my door w/ a $500 bill. When I called him on it, he said the $320 was just labor. He never said that initially and who quotes just labor? The remaining $180: one outlet, one fuse, and 10ft of wire....oh and kept the trip charge on. Bait and switch and shouldn't be allowed to use the word discount!!!

I was on i76 this afternoon when this idiot that works for or is this company decided to start tailgating me for no obvious reason except for being an idiot, now noticed him when I got on the highway tailgating another vechile. If this is example of their personnel I hate to see their work. A word of advice if you're going to drive like and IDIOT DON'T DO IT IN A COMPANY VECHILE.
