Very impolite driving in company pickup truck. I was up to merging speed, there was room, and he speeded up to close the space. That kind of attitude is not the sort of somebody with whom I would want to do business.

I got a quote from Legacy Electric to run 240V from main panel, along one wall, and run 3 separate 240V circuits in my garage. They came in more than 2.5x the next highest quote I received from local reputable electricians also found via google maps. It also seemed like their way of doing things was quite out of the norm. They insisted on using copper wire instead of aluminum, when nearly every long run these days is done with aluminum. In addition, instead of a subpanel approach, which is quite obviously the most efficient method when trying to get 3 240A outlets in a garage, they wanted to run 3 separate runs from my main panel. Note that every one of the other electricians I've spoken too recommended going with a subpanel.

It looks like many other people had good experiences. So it really may just have been the folks I spoke to. But I didn't have a stellar experience, not to mention their pricing being absolutely nuts.

Lou and his team were absolutely magnificent. I rarely write reviews but Dutch Creek is one that is more than worthy. On our kitchen remodel, we were given all our options and Jeremy placed the lighting templates for a visual view. They did the job right the first time and we had them back for another small lighting project that Vic completed in no time. Courteous, fair and competitive pricing. In short, Lou made sure we were completely happy with anything they provided.

30Electric no-showed our appointment with no call or explanation. They also did not return messages requesting an explanation. I understand that things happen and you sometimes need to reschedule, but I expect the professional courtesy of a phone call.

Josh Stevenson did an excellent job at repairing issues with my A/C system. There was build up from drywall debris and drainage leading to rust in the unit. Josh showed me exactly what was wrong and how it could be corrected. He was even able to install the humidifier for the home and give pointers on how to save on heating and cooling the house. He even fixed the fence outside. He was pleasant, on-time and honest. I will definitely work with him on A/C maintenance in the future.

Great electric company to work for

Genesis 1:3 Electric did a lot of work on a house we were getting ready to put on the market. Their electricians did a great job. Work was done quickly and correctly. Great company to work with.

Not a safe company. We purchased a Shea home 6.5 years ago. Courtesy did the electrical. Not only did they do a horrible, lazy job, but they created several safety issues. They mislabeled our breaker box. When I asked them to come label it appropriately so we can safely work on our house, the electrician said “that’s your job”. There are several switch boxes in our house that have multiple breakers running to them. This is incredibly unsafe. Thankfully we have enough knowledge of electrical to work around this incompetence. If you are looking to hire an electrician, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. It will save you multiple future headaches!
