It’s well known that life is full of surprises and while some of them are good, others come up as an emergency. My bad surprise came when my microwave stopped working (it was not a big deal) and took down the refrigerator (this was a BIG deal). Obviously it was an electrical problem and interviewing several contractors, I learned that after fifty years of service the electrical panel was the problem and now was the time to replace it. Nobody could explain why it lasted so long. The bids ranged from reasonable to ridiculously high. Analyzing each interview, I quickly found several good reasons why I should offer the project to 30Electric. To begin with, in contrast to some contractors, Casey talked with me, not at me. He did not try to impress me by the scopes of his previous projects and who he did the work for. While expressing interest in my project, he neither used high pressure, nor aggressive tactics to get the job. Respectful, polite and calm, he took the time to give me a detailed explanation of the real cause of the problem and thoroughly laid out the plan of what, why and how the problem would be resolved. The work involved more than replacing the panel and Casey was the only one who addressed the root of the problem. Needless to say, his bid was very reasonable as well. How did the project go? GREAT! What did my experience teach me? That I can trust Casey’s knowledge and expertise with my next (hopefully not emergency) project. Do I recommend his services? I already DID!!! What did I learn about Casey? He is honest, professional and holds himself to high standards.
