My experience with Mighty Bee was overall frustrating, and as a result of their work we lost a month of solar generation because they turned it off and never turned it back on again.

The owner is hard of hearing and doesn't have a hearing aid. Every time we talked to him we needed to do it loud and then still he'd misunderstand until we explained twice more.

His diagnostic abilities are also sub-par. I'm not an electrician, but I was able to figure out what we were looking at and how to fix the issue before he did, and it took explaining the situation three times before he reluctantly agreed to do what I requested. It didn't seem like he ever believed me, but I proved to be correct.

Then they installed the wrong kind of breaker in a panel--a 50amp breaker where it was supposed to be 20amp--which is a really, really dangerous fire hazard. Luckily I noticed it and they replaced it, but that hardly inspired confidence.

During the indoor work we asked them to wear masks. The owner grumbled about the masks and made continuing snide comments about how masks don't work. Actually, they do, or you wouldn't have seen them on all medical workers for the past hundred years or so, but I digress...

Finally, after their work was complete, I discovered that one of the circuits they had modified had no power. It took another couple of days and then they came out and fixed that.

And just today we discovered that our solar wasn't generating. At all. They turned it off and left it off.

One or two of the above complaints and I would have let it slide. With this many things wrong with their visit, though, this was a disaster. Their pricing was decent for the work, but not worth the hassle and close management required to prevent serious problems.

Do not recommend.

I contacted Electri-serve to replace my service panel and they sent Mr. Kessinger to give me a quote. Mr. Kessinger was professional and knowledgeable and gave me a great price. I then email Mr Kessinger on 5/21 saying I'd like to hire them he responded on 5/21 saying Stacey will get with you to schedule a date for the work. Today is now 7/24 and I never heard a peep from the companies scheduler Stacey so I hired JW electric and paid the extra 300 for a company that will actually contact you back and schedule a date to preform the work you are trying go hire them for. In the future I will not even waste my time with Electri-serve if they can not even be bothered to contact a customer that is trying to pay them for a service they say they do. Do not waste your time

Very professional and quick, got me exactly what I wanted and needed done!

My freezer stopped working and the food was starting to thaw. Called Dutch Creek and they were able to send Vic out that afternoon. Turned out it was plugged into a GFI box that had tripped. He reset it and recommended I plug it into a different outlet. Did not charge me for the trip and gave me a coupon for 10% off the next visit. Will definitely use them again.

They came, they saw, they conquered. I live in an architectural building and it’s weird and picky. Huge ceilings, very thick walls. I had a big list of things to install and repair and fix and they took a look at my list and got to work. Explained why on some things, did some sleuthing on a few things and got much of it done, and scheduled an appointment to come back. Everything works, no mess, were very careful with my walls and floors - I will definitely make Piper my go-to for electrical. Much appreciated!

We received exceptional service from Justin with Interstate Electric & Solar! After we lost power to our entire condo late on a Sunday night, he was extremely responsive and able to squeeze us in asap. He was extremely knowledgeable and we felt his prices were more reasonable than other quotes we received. He left us with some helpful tips on electrical safety and, most importantly, our lights are back on!

I cannot recommend Uli, Marshall, Jason, Johan and the whole team at Top Shelf enough.

I initially got in touch with Top Shelf because a different company had broken my water heater during a routine intake outtake pipe repair. The company claimed I needed a new heater entirely. Marshall came over and was very responsive to my questions, said that they might be right and I would need a new water heater, but that he'd look into it. After a half an hour or so he had the issue fixed: the previous company had installed a one way valve on the pipe going the wrong direction and so he just took that out and, viola, fixed.

I liked so much of how Marshall worked, I have just completed an HVAC installation with another of Top Shelf's technicians: Jason and his brother Johan. Despite having some setbacks with getting the metal ducting into our basement that weren't his fault, Jason stayed at our house until 8:30pm to make sure we had heat that night. Johan helped with all things electrical and I gather came over to help things done in a speedy matter given the install was done during a snowstorm. Both were extremely professional and easy to talk to. We're now sitting comfortably with a new HVAC and humidifier.

I plan on using Top Shelf anytime I need the services they offer - I'm already planning new electrical work with them here shortly. I encourage you to contact them - you won't be disappointed.
