FYI - if you need an electrician I strongly suggest NOT calling Roby Electrical. I scheduled an appointment for the 2-story family room ceiling fan to be repaired. The lights all blink, so likely not just a lightbulb replacement. Clearly told the Roby operator that the room is 2- stories. Electrician showed up yesterday to basically assess the situation. He walked into the house with zero tools, flipped the lightswitch and nearly immediately recommended replacing the ceiling fan. He suggested three steps:
(1) today's meet and greet for $100
(2) a proposal for 2 guys to come with a tall ladder and determine what they think the problem might be for another $650 and
(3) a third visit of 2 guys to repair the issue (or replace the fan) for an untold amount.

$100+ dispatch fee, $100+ hr minimum work fee, $100+ post 24 hr threshold appointment cancelation fee. NOEP!

However, I do appreciate the courtesy of their secretaries. I have a learning disability and they were sweet enough to help me understand how to avoid that cancel fee via reschedule.

Besides that: the outlet restoration job I needed done was completed by Viva Electric for only $50-$70 in 10 minutes. Plus an adjustment to two of my GCFI outlets. And they were even farther away than Bates.

Excellent work at a reasonable price. Jacob was our technician and he did superb work in a timely manner. Couldn’t ask g to it more. Well done!

Tony is amazing! This is definitely his calling! My dad is a builder and was so impressed with his skill. No corners were cut, fantastic work!
