First of all, the service person who took the call was courteous and professional. She treated our situation as if she was going through it herself. Francisco was assigned to come out to diagnose our situation and repair the issue. He was professional, on time and diagnosed the problem. He kept us informed of the issue and offered us his recommendation on the best way to resolve the issue and fixed it in a timely manner not to mention coming out late at night on a Saturday. Thank you for resolving our issue so we could get our heat back on in 21° weather!

Bobby saved me. I purchased an EV and went through a series of electricians (no knock on them because they had the electrical part right) and a horrendous car branded charger (which came with no instructions and required a Ph.D in electrical engineering to figure out) before Bobby stepped in, swapped out the charger, and got me on my way in under an hour. He was personable and professional and I would recommend him for any electrical work.

They were great! The first visit was to explain my concerns and needs and provide an estimate for the work I required - this technician was on time (gave me a 30 min out call), professional, and answered all my questions. Then I quickly received an estimate through my email to which I could e-sign. After that, they were able to quickly schedule me an appt for the work to be completed. The technicians at this appt were also fast, knowledgeable, and friendly! I was able to get an invoice through my email and pay online - quick, easy, and affordable! I will definitely be contacting Viva Electric in the future for my electrical needs.

I was just going to move on but since they have emailed me 3-4 times in the past month for an appointment on Jan 15 2018.. I guess I should share my brief experience. The positive is the technician showed up quickly.. They have a policy that they will charge you $200 the moment they commence looking at your project. And they even go as far to disclaim that there is a chance they will not be able to perform the task you need and that you will still have to pay the $200. This routine seems pretty rehearsed and probably has been required by some attorney.

My technician looked at the front door light fixture and sure enough said it needed to be replaced and there was nothing he could do.. but that he would be happy to come back out to charge me another $200 to install the fixture once I have purchased it.

The lesson here is if you have any light fixture that you think is faulty.. the best plan is to go to Lowe’s/Home Depot/etc. and purchase a replacement.. they usually come with the installation. If it turns out the project doesn’t require the new fixture, you just return it. But at least you will have a reliable electrician that comes with the Lowe’s/ Home Depot stamp of approval who will assess your needs and not Overcharge you for what amounts to a 2 minute decision that they couldn’t help you.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but perhaps this will teach the Father and Son to use more discretion which previous clients to hound for public feedback.

Today, 1/15/2014, Brian did a great job with the minor repairs we needed. From reattaching a door frame, reattaching trim, to changing lights that we can't reach on a normal size ladder. We actually had a toilet that had just broken the night before, and he ran out to get the part we needed and fixed it on the spot. He talked us through things to make sure we understood the issue and what he was going to do. Everything was done in a professional and timely manner. He left everything in order.
