Best Electrical Installation Service in Charlotte NC

I have a home built in 1950 with some electric work that is strange but they were able to find out the problem very quick. The guys were very personable while also being professional.

I chose On Time Electrical for an electrical panel upgrade after reading other positive Google reviews. I had used a, 5-star rated electric company, for a recent project, but having to beg for a returned phone call, grew tiresome. Jeremy met me onsite within a day to go over the project. He was able to offer different options with different price points in order to provide service to our ongoing pool project. I felt no pressure and no upsell tactics, which led me to choose a panel upgrade over a subpanel. The permit was secured and work was scheduled very promptly. Jeremy texted updates on the project status throughout the morning, and he called me to let me know the work was complete and Duke Energy would be reconnecting power. Unbeknownst to us, the pool subcontractor had scheduled an electrical inspection for that afternoon, which caused some confusion, as the electrical panel upgrade was complete. Arthur with On Time Electrical called me, and stated that he was driving back to our home to find out what was going on. He relayed the information back to me..., that the inspector was there for the pool lights..., and noted that Duke Energy was turning the power back on as he arrived. This really speaks to the quality service and professionalism that a customer will receive with On Time Electrical. I will definitely be using them again for future projects.

I had this company do 2 projects in the house. 1. I wanted a clean look with my tv mounted on the wall by adding an electric outlet higher up the wall to have a clean look of no wires showing. 2. Address power light issue on a dimmable switch that hasn't worked in 8 month. On both fronts, I thought they did a good job (had 3 people there total) and was professional with what they were doing. The job lasted about 2 hours and the price was done on an agreed negotiated price.

I need my business fixed and they were the one to call. I have no complaints! They help with all the needs I requested for and they did not disappoint. They are very knowledgeable and helpful thoughout the process with also being very clean! The price was also very fair. Definitely will do business again.

Me and my husband have used Al for multiple electrical projects, and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is prompt, professional, and does such an amazing job. We have been so pleased with everything he has done, and will continue to use him for any electrical needs we may have.

It is great that Bates has superb customer service folks on the phone and was able to send someone out to install a 240V outlet in the garage as early as the next day and the two gentlemen who showed up were super nice ... however ... despite the costs being explicitly stated in advance ($80 trip charge, $80/hr labor, plus parts), I ended up being charged 1.5 hours for just over half an hour's worth of not quite professional work. Two reasons for that: a) I was apparently charged almost an hour for the technician's time to go shopping at Home Depot for the most basic of parts (an outlet, a box for the outlet, a few feet of cabling, etc.), and b) the person who did the work was the new guy and although he was experienced, he was clearly being supervised by the more senior tech for a reason. End result? An outlet that's not flush with the wall because a few corners were cut. I don't get why I have to pay you labor rates to show up at the job site with the proper equipment when I already told you what I needed to have done and I even sent you pictures _well before_ you arrived at the job site. It's not like this person had to leave my home and go far away and then come back (but even then, shouldn't you have some of these things in your truck, especially on the day of the job?). I'm sure he stopped at the Home Depot on the way from his previous gig to this one. I feel like levying a trip charge and labor rates for shopping is technically double-dipping. When I brought up these concerns to their customer support folks, I was told someone would be calling me back (after much resistance and arguing; they're exceptionally trained ... I felt like I called an insurance company to file a claim). Well, three days later, I haven't heard from anyone.

UPDATE 08/24: After getting nowhere with the back-office folks, the owner himself was kind enough to speak with me, hear me out, and send Justin out to make it right by his customer. I really do appreciate that. I am definitely pleased with the end result. However, I think it's important for customers to know, up front, that they're liable for the electrician's time spent procuring the parts needed for the job. If given the choice, I would rather go get them myself instead of paying labor rates for that Home Depot trip. It could be that I'm just that naive and that this is how the entire industry operates.
