Jason kept me informed every step of the process of replacing a 1960's era electric panel that involved dealing with SRP and the City of Phoenix, and made it happen quickly and finished in the time advised. I also felt Jason gave me appropriate information to know what was happening and why it was happening. What had been on my to-do list for a long time became a project I was able to leave with Jason and his company to take it from there...I actually looked forward to hearing from Jason and having him show up to work!

Amazing customer service, fast, and great work! We just bought a home in Phoenix and our water heater and AC went out within a hour of each other. They had a tech out within 2 hours and replacements completed within 24 hours! The techs were so friendly and knowledgeable. Daniel Medina and his helper Rego were among the best workers I have met. They were on time, respectful, and professional. They were very open and transparent. I felt they were trustworthy men. They represented the Tucker Hill company very well.

My first experience with Fixer was a 10/10 experience. I reached out to them because one night our Air Handler was not turning on and flashing a low voltage warning to our nest thermostat. I called 3 different HVAC companies and finally got one out the next day. Quick analysis showed that the unit was perfectly fine, but it appeared to be an electrical issue with the outlet that the unit was plugged into. Queue the real headache of the service industry:

1.) Called a local electrician, quoted a 200 diagnostics fee just for showing up and then parts and labor would be on top. Soonest availability was 4 weeks out.
2.) Called another 'national' electrician, quoted a 150 fee for showing up and additional hours would be 75 per hour with parts and labor. Earliest availability was 2 months out!
3.) Discovered Fixer online and filled out the repair request based on what i knew. Was quoted $119 for the first hour and then everything would be prorated to the minute there after. Felt reasonable and the best part was they could get someone there the next day. My fixer showed up, was extremely professional and quickly diagnosed the issue that the HVAC company could not. Upon diagnosing the issue, my fixer explained everything that he was going to try and then explained what could be the root cause. 1 trip to the hardware store for parts and my fixer was completed with the project. Two burnt out electrical switches and plugs and everything was back up good as new. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. total cost $200 with parts and labor.

So quickly said, if you value your time, want transparency with what is actually occurring with your problem, and want top of the line customer service, give Fixer a shot. Could not be happier with their work.

Technician was on time. He changed eco water filters, we had it installed by them. I appreciate they put system in, and maintain it. Parker & Sons is not the cheapest company to use, but they are reliable, professional, and have been around for a long time. The guy that is over the company called me once, and was nice to speak with after I had a complaint.

The handyman replaced an existing light switch in the kitchen. The charge: $200 which I think was a sour grapes fee for not agreeing to have him install an In-wall power kit for $350 for both tasks. The handyman used my new light switch to replace the broken one - it took approx. 5 minutes total to complete the job. I was a repeat customer but no more - enjoy that $200 - you won't be back. What a rip-off!

Jesse was a true professional with a toilet repair that I unsuccessfully attempted myself. Did a great job and cleaned up everything after work was complete. Even wore a mask. Highly recommended.

Scott was very professional. He called and arrived when he indicated and gave us a very reasonable price for the work. I would highly recommend A Better Place and will say that we will be using Scott for any future work around our home.

Didn’t use them as a service but their truck on the road driving frantically cutting people off not a great look ! I’ll never use them

I called Greg Knutson this morning for a garbage disposal issue and he came the same day and fixed it! He did a wonderful job at a fair price, and did professional quality work. We will be using him again and recommend him to others.

I did not go in. My son and his 2 friends did. Am told they had a good time. I found it to be too expensive. One of the 3 I drove to the Game On event on Aug 11 had lost his 3 day pass and was made to pay another $49 for a Sunday. I believe his money should be returned as he can prove through his bank and friends that he paid for 3 days in advance of the event.
