I was extremely satisfied and impressed with the service I received from One Shot Services. Gabriel responded quickly and was very knowledgeable in identifying and repairing the issue I was having with the GFCI outlet (consistently shorting out) on my pool pump electrical box. I thought I was going to need to replace the entire box since the GFCI had already been replaced and the electrical box was 30+ years old. Gabriel is such an honest person and he almost insisted he troubleshoot before replacing the box. I'm glad I listened to him. Doing this, he saved me hundreds of dollars. His rate seemed fair and he will be the person I call the next time I need something out of my league done.

My initial service visit with George Brazil occurred on June 21, 2017. I was in need of emergency electrical assistance for my 31 year-old condo. I had been experiencing electrical shut-off issues with my main breaker...was not able to operate more than one appliance at the same time. George Brazil sent me Jason N. I found Jason to be professionally skilled, confident, detail oriented, friendly, and a good communicator with all I needed to understand to cover my needed repair work. The owner of the company came to our home, was very polite and extremely professional. He didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need for the size of our home. He was very honest and it was an easy decision to make.We had a new A/C installed within two business days of the sale. Great price, great product and great installation. The installers were also very professional and extremely polite.I would highly recommend Penguin Air to anyone I know. This was one of the easiest purchases I've made in my life. My first experience with Fixer was a 10/10 experience. I reached out to them because one night our Air Handler was not turning on and flashing a low voltage warning to our nest thermostat. I called 3 different HVAC companies and finally got one out the next day. Quick analysis showed that the unit was perfectly fine, but it appeared to be an electrical issue with the outlet that the unit was plugged into. Queue the real headache of the service industry:

1.) Called a local electrician, quoted a 200 diagnostics fee just for showing up and then parts and labor would be on top. Soonest availability was 4 weeks out.
2.) Called another 'national' electrician, quoted a 150 fee for showing up and additional hours would be 75 per hour with parts and labor. Earliest availability was 2 months out!
3.) Discovered Fixer online and filled out the repair request based on what i knew. Was quoted $119 for the first hour and then everything would be prorated to the minute there after. Felt reasonable and the best part was they could get someone there the next day. My fixer showed up, was extremely professional and quickly diagnosed the issue that the HVAC company could not. Upon diagnosing the issue, my fixer explained everything that he was going to try and then explained what could be the root cause. 1 trip to the hardware store for parts and my fixer was completed with the project. Two burnt out electrical switches and plugs and everything was back up good as new. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. total cost $200 with parts and labor.

So quickly said, if you value your time, want transparency with what is actually occurring with your problem, and want top of the line customer service, give Fixer a shot. Could not be happier with their work.

Repairman was great/personable. Diagnosed a bad thermostat. The only one he SAID he had???(I'm sure that was company policy) was over $400.00!!!!!! OK-so it is over 100 degrees in my house and I am 84 years old. They REALLY have you over a barrel at that point and they know it--SO WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS??? So, to get my air working on a very hot day I paid for that thermostat...WHAT A RIP OFF!! Do NOT use this company.ATTENTION: A member of this company contacted me immediately after I posted this comment. She was very apologetic about my experience and went to great lengths to make me feel better about the situation. I was given assurance that the matter of more (thermostats) options being on their trucks AND a refund of part of the charges. She/they were great in reaching out to me and addressing this problem. I will definitely give them another chance if I need their services in the future. Thank You.

I really enjoy using Handyman connection. I recently purchased a house in the desert ridge area, and they have been really helpful for plumbing, electrical, and general fixing up the house stuff. I think they are a great company with good rates and a company that you feel good about the work they do

Scott was great. I attempted to wire a smart thermostat myself and blew my units transformer in the process. He was able to get out the same day I called and replace the transformer. He also recommended that I replace some old wiring connecting the unit to the thermostat because I was experiencing power lose at the thermostat. I did just that and BOOM, everything powered up as it should. Great experience, thank you Scott!

Randy and Tyra are an amazingly professional team. We have utilized their services twice. Upon moving into our town home in Tempe they assisted with rehanging doors, installing excellent lighting in my wife's craft room, making general drywall repairs in the home, and installing exterior light fixtures. They were more than willing to provide an estimate prior to work which was extremely detailed and accurate.
