Joseph and Cody helped us replace a ceiling fan after the motor burned out. They were very professional and timelyJust before Thanksgiving 2019 our stove caught on fire and had to be replaced. The delivery crew would not install it and American Electrical Contractors came out, checked the outlet, and saved Thanksgiving. We had 20 people coming over in 24 hours and without them, we would have ordered take out!Thank you!

David Gray Electrical really helped me out. I don't live in Jax anymore but still have a rental property there and when the tenant called and told me that the oven kept shutting off, I didn't know what to do. The electrician who came out identified the breaker issue and fixed it and when there were issues after the fact, came back out to ensure that all the work was done correctly (I found out I had a defective stove due to some other circumstances). I recommend David Gray Electrical and would use them again.

I had a service appointment window of 8 AM - 10 AM. I had to call at 10:15 to find out why the crew had not arrived. I was told they were running late and were supposed to call me, to which they did not. At 10:30 AM they called and indicated they were 30 minutes away. They finally arrived at noon. I had a very simple issue which they were able to resolve, however I wasted four hours of my life waiting and only found out because I took the initiative to call.

Replaced two fluorescent light fixtures with LED bulbs. Work was done professionally and the lights worked fine. We thought that the bulbs they provided were not bright enough, so we asked them to replace them with brighter ones. They did this at no extra charge. They also installed a SmartHome switch at no charge.

Very satisfied with the work. They did work for us in the past that was also satisfactory.

The first time I contacted Lin’s Electric to install a temporary service pole, the communication was great, professional and very helpful and passed the inspection on the second attempt.

The second time I requested their help, it was for a meter box disconnect ($140) and a safety inspections. The owner Lin, showed up and told me that he wouldn’t know what it would cost but maybe, $10,000. (Not kidding) He said he wouldn’t know until I agreed to a $125 per hour fee plus materials. And it would be at least 5 hours. I agreed.

When the guys showed up they said they were there to make a supply list that took 15 mins. They said they needed a meter box, rewire the panel, staple the wires underneath the house, and to finish connecting the ac disconnect in the attic (3 wires).

After I paid the $125, for 15 mins of work I received the quote for $4400 for just labor. No materials included. That’s 35 hours at $125 an hour.

I declined the proposal and contacted another company. They sent 1 guy for 6 hours to complete the job for less than $1000 including all the materials.

It’s ironic that they’re main websites page states “shocked by electrical repair cost?”, when they do not believe in “an honest pay for an honest days worth of work.”

Burbank Electric came out and serviced a GFi outlet in my bathroom that keeps being blowm. It was discovered the previous electric company that replaced our electrical panel did not make sure the house was properly grounded. My thanks to Burbank for discovering this before a major problem developed. They were professional, reasonable, and very friendly. We will use them again.

I interviewed 3 electrical contractors for a job consisting of adding 2 GFI outlets to a brick outdoor porch wall. Spectrum arrived on time and gave me a quote. Their bid was 42% lower than the first bid and $4 less than the second bid. They were the more professional of the group. I agreed to the price and they said they'd be back in a week to do the job. Soon thereafter I received an email confirmation of both the bid price and the appointment date and time. The next week two guys showed up right on time and commenced the work. Two hours later they were done. I paid them and they emailed me my receipt on the spot. A seamless transaction with the work done right at a reasonable price. I will use them again.

I have used John-Micheal, Chris and James several times over the years for electrical and HVAC issues for myself and my customers. The nice thing about them is they are very responsive, and are always trying to figure out your best alternative, not necessarily just sell a new system. Since they are Mechanical and Electrical contractors they can handle a broad array of situations which helps the projects run smoothly and on time. I have only used them for residential projects, but I understand that they can handle large commercial and governmental type situations with ease. Very professional, nice guys came to wire my 2 1/2 garage, 2005, they did a great job, then hurricane Irma 2017 came took out that garage, then Pilot elec. came and wired another garage.
We’re very happy with this company. Pilot Electric also changed out our door bell and I use them for some small jobs as well. They always save me money, and that’s a win for us.
