Best Electrical Wiring Upgrades in Jacksonville FL

I have never written a review before, but I am beyond floored by how I was just treated. I have never experienced such disrespect from a company. I am 8 months pregnant and my air conditioning stopped working in August in Florida, as you can imagine living in a 3 story home the temperature was in the mid 80's and climbing. I called to take care of the problem and was dismissed by the first customer service (dispatcher?). In the middle of me answering her question (about the issue I was experiencing) she cut me off and proceeded to raise her voice and talk over me and told me to stop talking so she can ask another question. I stopped mid sentence, she asked two questions said she would call back and briefly hung up. When I didn't hear back from the first rep, I called again and got another dispatcher, they again were extremely rude and said they didn't even know if they could make it over. When I became emotional/exasperated and explained I was 8 months pregnant and asked if there was anyway someone could come today she coldly told me to get it together you're going to be a mother. I have never felt more disrespected or had such terrible customer service from a company. They also have terrible communication issues and the line has a constant crackle, you can hardly hear them which prompts them to yell and ask you the same thing multiple times. Please avoid this company.

I reached out to several electricians to get a quote for installing a 240 V outlet (NEMA 14-50) in my garage in order to charge an electric car.

Brice was easy to talk to and quickly gave me a quote based on a picture of my breaker box.

I got some other quotes and Advanced Electric of North Florida came in significantly lower than the rest, so I went with them.

They came out and the guys were great and the work was done professionally. I even asked for a tweak to what they were doing (wanted it installed flush mount instead of surface mount, which I hadn't clarified ahead of time) and they were able to accommodate. Would use again.

After ordering Legrand Adorne Wifi outlets/switches from Lowes, I called American Electric to install them. I bought just about every type of switch they had - lighted, dimmer, pop out you name it and Billy had no issues installing all of them. They were so friendly and helpful (when I wanted to add more) and worked with me when I went to get more parts. I was very excited when my back order finally arrived after 3 months of waiting (I guess these things are really popular) and the office had no problem scheduling my visit. They called to say they were on their way, they were prompt and courteous, cleaned up the mess (they installed stuff all over the house). I feel like I made friends with both the office and the installers. Of course my outlets look amazing and I love that I can program them to turn on (or off) automatically or with Amazon Alexa. What a great experience - more than I could have hoped for.

I was shopping around for a company to install a special 220v outlet in my garage where i received quotes from multiple companies for the specified work. All American electrics was very reasonable in their price, and performed the job in a timely, quality driven fashion. Joe and Walt were the workers that took care of the job and did so exceptionally. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely call back for additional work in the future!

Over the past 2 years, we have exclusively used NH Electric anytime we needed work done because of the quality of service. I have never written a review of anything or any company, but today, we had Danny here to do some more projects, and for the first time EVER, I saw a tradesman wash his hands BEFORE he put up the snow white can light trim rings!!!
While I know it sounds like a little thing, it totally blew me away!! NH Electric cannot be beat, and they prove it every time they do work for us.

I had such a great experience with Thompson Electric. From the moment I called ,the women on the phone were polite and always kept in contact with me to remind me of times and appointments. The electricians were knowledgeable and even caught a few problems we didn't know about. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely use them again and also refer them to my friends and family.

I have been using Volt Edge Electric for over 4 years now. They previously installed a 220 VAC line in my detached garage for my dryer. They also added GFCI breakers to my breaker box and replaced a line to my meter. This time they rerouted circuits and added a breaker and some additional receptacles as well as replace some bad wiring in my attic.

Dan Paskey and co. are efficient, thorough and do a great job. Very personable, and took great care not to damage my walls. My home is “vintage” with plaster walls - if you’ve ever worked around plaster you know it’s a real pain and tough not to chip or crack when working with it. I also have a lot of office stuff in my house right now working from home due to the pandemic. They took great pains to move all the obstacles out of the way and then put them back correctly when they were done. Great service!

We have used Pec for the new construction electrical on 2 houses. Both times were a great experience and would highly recommend them for any electrical project needs.

I just moved to Jax, and I was told by JEA, that the electricity in the house I had purchased, had been w/out electricity for 2 years. They needed an electrician to preform a safety inspection. So I googled electrician in the zip code that the property is at, and B&G showed up, I called and as a new costumer they were helpful to provide an electrician on that same day to come and do inspection as long as I pay in advance over the phone with my credit card + the charges of me using a credit card, instead of having electrician collect their payment when work was completed, that is not the bad part. After they got you in their hands because they pull the permit to work in your property, that is when this company turns into a nightmare to deal with, 3 women in the main office will turn your life upside down with making your next appointment to be virtually impossible to secure, playing hot potato game with your time and patience, an beware of estimated charges, the so call estimate is what you will actually pay whether or not they take less time, but of course if they need to charge you over time they will be happy to add that to your bill, just don't ask the to subtract if they take less time, they will threaten to undo work if you don't pay, what was supposed to be an estimate of charges, so skip them when they come back at top of your search.

Definitely not a recommended hire for your neighborhood Christmas light display.

They ok don't just quit though the might assume you'll be nobody.
