American Electrical Contracting has been our go-to company for years. Most recently, Avery and Josh completed a difficult project with patience, quality workmanship and excellent service.

We have been calling this company for electrical work and we have had no response. People in the office barely know what's going on. You are constantly getting the let me get your message, and I will get someone to call you back FOR WEEKS! There are better and more affordable electricians out there.

Very bad experience! Disorganized bunch! Made an appointment with me rather fast; so I canceled my trip and rushed across town to meet the estimator Bryce.....appointment was at 11:30, I waited until 11:46 to call the office and nobody knew anything??? I was told I'd get a call back, I waited onsite until 12:05, finally giving up in disgust. Later on a lady from the office called and left a message that he wouldn't be able to come; that he was on his way to Orange Park. Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Very disorganized company.

Had Empire add an outlet outside for my patio for my TV, fantastic and professional job. I will use them again. Ask for Steve II and III!!!!!!

Skip passed this company. Unable to complete the job in the contracted time frame. Left my house with incomplete work and then asked for more money.

I contracted them to do 8 specific jobs over a two day period , they did not finish even one of the 8 jobs in two days. At this point I had paid for 25 percent of the job and they tried to hit me up for more money.

Fast prompt service. Would definitely recommend Thompson Electric every day of the week.

They came here as two but after two hours one
left with the truck. I have video confirming that and I was there. They did not give my wife a receipt not did they email me a receipt, so we paid for services not provided. If they charged for two, my camera will show one left for three hours . I will be contacting my attorney because they did not provide a receipt or services for two men during the time they said.

I had such a great experience with this company from the second they answered the phone until the job was done. January took my initial inquiry and could not have been more kind, knowledgeable, and professional. When you don’t know anything about electric, it can be intimidating to ask the right questions but she was great. They offer free estimates which seems to be out of the ordinary for electric work but I’m not sure, very helpful though. Then Nathan (and another gentleman, I didn’t catch his name) came out to run a cable line. They found a different way to run the line and wound up cutting the initial quote in half. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs electric work. Thanks for your great work!

The workers were very professional, organized and completed their work in a timely-manner. They also cleaned up any debris of wiring etc. that was needed. They also were very knowledgeable of their jobs.

For 1.. the boss said he could get the job done for 400 dollars or under! That was the quote.
For 2 ..they drilled a hole through the floor cause they missed the wall.
For 3 ..they should have came out personally and gave a estimate & he said well i dont need too!

WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
