I have been doing business with Advanced Electric for quite some time now, I am very pleased with their work ethic‘s. Matt and Brandon arrived promptly. Early in fact. Replaced a GFI outlet in my garage to my irrigation system. Discussed future work, new lawn lighting, install new electrical outlet by my front door and outside motion detector lighting.

I had a simple issue that could have resulted in a lot of money flowing from my pockets. Paul promptly called me back and guided me to the hidden GFI switch in my garage. He could have sent out a guy & charged me hundreds of dollars to simply press a switch and/or repair something that didn’t need repair. His responsive service has made Jax Electrical Contracting my go-to electricians for all my future needs.

I have used McGuire Electrical a few times in the past and each time Josh, the owner, is outstanding in terms of the quality of the work, his honesty, and quoting a fair price. When you schedule an appointment, he sends a confirmation by text, he sends another text to let you know he is on the way, and then another text after he’s finished the job to thank you for your business. I called Schumann Electric twice for 2 different orders that we had pending. 1.) was to fix a breaker for one of our apartment buildings that went out. I spoke with Tony Carta and he sent out an electrician a few days after in which they charge JUST FOR THE VISIT ALONE without fixing the problem. The technician explained the problem with the breaker and said he needed to order parts to replace it and I asked for a quote to then pay for the service. I never received any quotes or invoices of any kind so that was left in the air. 2.) One of my tenants had an issue with her heater going out as soon as she turned on the stove. She called the city in hopes that the issue would be resolved faster but it delayed the process of us ordering the new breaker and replacing it so we had to resort to calling Schumann once more and the same situation they sent an electrician to see the issue and he explained that we needed to replace the outside breaker. Mind you i explained to them that we are on a time constraint because my tenant did not have any heat in her unit and once she tried to crank it on she basically could not cook. Tony Carta was the one attending all of the calls. Tony did not have a sense of urgency for my situation and i have yet to receive any invoices or quotes from both of those situations. I kept calling Tony to see what was status on the Breaker and he told me I hope you don't call me everyday just to see if the breaker came in. Which was extremely rude because I'm doing my job and making sure i get the work done since they haven't checked back with the previous issue so it was only right I try to get the situation handled and just so i can keep my tenant updated. All in all this company is absolutely TERRIBLE AND EXTREMELY RUDE TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS. TONY CARTA WAS VERY UNPROFFESIONAL IN THE WHOLE PROCESS. Once i got my situation fixed Tony called me about 5 days later to tell me that he finally got the part in and i told him that he took too long and we resorted to someone else fixing the breaker and replacing it to which he said to me Do not ever call me again and have fun taking care of those outstanding invoices. Tony Carta is very rude and i recommend that you contract another company because they probably wont do the work unless you call them 24/7. ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL COMPANY
