Best A/C System Repair in Jacksonville FL

We recently worked with Brian Moore @American Electrical Contracting on the installation of a 100kW Triton Generator and ATS for the City of Kingsland, GA. Part of our challenge was coordinating installation logistics from our factory in Florida. We needed a company that could get it done right and on time. Brian did a fantastic job keeping us informed throughout the various stages of the project. From the first visit to the jobsite, to meeting our factory tech for the final inspection, start up, and commissioning of our Triton Generator. American Electrical and Brian’s crew did an excellent job and I look forward to working together on future projects.

Thank you for promptly diagnosing and repairing my problem in my breaker box. Made sure everything was looked at, not just the breaker that kept tripping.

They were available to come out the same day, from initial call to completion was less than two hours. Tech was friendly, which was nice cuz my dogs like people, but me not so much.

I called GNH to swap out an old ceiling fan with a new one. All the wiring was in place. I asked for a quote over the phone and they said for some reason they couldn't give me one. My usual electrician was booked up for a few weeks and GNH was available the next day. They said it was a $50 service fee to come check it out which would be applied to any work done. Although I thought it was strange they couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate on the fan replacement, I needed it done quickly so I had them come out. The electricians were nice and showed up on time. But as soon as one of them looked at the fan he said did they give you a price over the phone? I told them they said they couldn't do that...then I had a bad feeling. He immediately looked at it and said $200. I thought that's a little high but I need it done, plus it's really just $150 because the service fee would be applied to the final price. They finished up in about 30 minutes and the fan works fine. They didn't show me an invoice, just took the card and ran it. I said So that's 200 minus the 50 dollar service fee? He said yes and ran the card and I signed. Later that day I looked at the receipt they emailed me and it was $200. I emailed them saying it must have been a mistake, and they said no...it was $250 minus the $50 service charge. I told them that's not what I was told. They basically said, well too bad you approved it. I told them I was told I was paying $150 and they just RAN MY CARD WITHOUT SHOWING ME AN INVOICE at all, no matter what they say or how they may respond to this. Then they stopped emailing me back. So BE CAREFUL and demand a quote over the phone...if they won't give you one...find someone else.

The work got done, but the experience was strange. The first electrician showed up, did a walk through and wrote up an estimate, was very professional. I signed the estimate and scheduled, then the electrician showed up, didn't seem to have any info what the job was, I had to show him. There was a GFCI to be installed, it was on the estimate but the electrician didn't seem to know anything about it, completed work and left (job done). The GFCI was missed. I called and NH sent him back the next business day to install the GFCI - the electrician then asked if an inspection was going to be done, I told him yes, and he wanted to know if all the work would be inspected or just the GFCI. Why would that matter? Shouldn't all the work be done up to inspection standards? After the job was completed (the second time) I received some emails with 'customer's signature' for commencement of work and acceptance of work done - I didn't sign those forms. The electrician didn't have any forms with him for me to sign and nothing that could have taken an electronic signature. It was all very odd. The inspection hasn't happened yet, and I'm hoping there are no problems, but it makes me reluctant to use the service again.

Very disappointed. Had emergency on Saturday. Recommended by a neighbor. Employee came right out but couldn't do the work without a permit. My husband is on oxygen. No power at all. Employee tried to reach owner and his sons to get permit. No return call. Could have had it done sunday. When monday came around I was told I would have to schedule the service for the following week. Really? Wont recommend them to any one

We had Dependent Electric do an Electrical install on a Mobile Home.I told Bryan,the owner that the zoning wanted it to be a specfic way which meant relocating the wire FROM ABOVE GROUND to UNDERGROUND,Bryan said that the way zoning wanted it was not to code,and he would check on it.He came out the next day and installed the power under the old guidelines.I paid him in full the same day.Zoning showed up the next day for inspection AND IT FAILED because Bryan didn't do it to code.Dependent Electric said they would file for a variance,after 5 months of calls to Dependent Electric and no results Dependent Electric being told they had'nt heard anything, we find out Dependent Electric NEVER FILED FOR THE VARIANCE ,so 2 more months of going back and forth 7 months total the zoning FINALLY compromise simply because they had been to my home 5 times in that 7 months.Lesson learned,don't pay for service until it passes the inspection and then Dependent Electric will get it right to get paid.The quality of work Dependent Electric does is excellent,it was just done incorrectly and Dependent Electric didn't want to fix their mistake as it was already paid.I won't use them again

Do not bother calling this place. I called to request an estimate for some electrical work I needed done in my home. The person on the phone stated they only do residential work when they are slow. He said they are too busy helping builders with new construction.

So don't waste your time with this company that is too busy to be bothered with residential work even though their website states they do.

Great company that I highly recommend. The first time I used Infinity I need electrical work done at my office and I was very happy with their work. Last week we had an emergency at our rental property. A truck had pulled down the electrical wire and JEA would not restore power until I had an electrician on site to replace the line service conductors. Infinity came to our rescue on very short notice. Our elderly renter was able to get his power back on quickly because of their wonderful service.

I interviewed 3 electrical contractors for a job consisting of adding 2 GFI outlets to a brick outdoor porch wall. Spectrum arrived on time and gave me a quote. Their bid was 42% lower than the first bid and $4 less than the second bid. They were the more professional of the group. I agreed to the price and they said they'd be back in a week to do the job. Soon thereafter I received an email confirmation of both the bid price and the appointment date and time. The next week two guys showed up right on time and commenced the work. Two hours later they were done. I paid them and they emailed me my receipt on the spot. A seamless transaction with the work done right at a reasonable price. I will use them again.
