Paul came out on the same day that I called him and was very helpful in showing me some of the things that were of concern on a house that I just bough. He said somethings weren’t up to code but it would OK until the electric needed to be redone then it should be done at code. He gave me an estimate on a new panel and was very helpful with a lot of questions that I had about electric problems. I would recommend him. Price seems reasonable and he has a two hour minimum.

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Sparky's service. We have had them come out 3 times this month for different electrical issues. Each time, their office called about 45 minutes before my window of service was to take place letting me know the technician was enroute. All three times, they arrived on time, performed a walk through checking out the entire house for any issues we may not have not known about. The technicians explained what they found and let us decide on the scope of work we were comfortable with doing. The technicians were very friendly and really took the time to explain what they were doing so I could learn while they worked. A++ experience every time.

Previously 3 stars. Good solid work and employees seem very nice and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars but they need to be upfront about their paid to travel and pick up parts policy. I advise getting an upfront estimate for the job. I was trying to be supportive of local business and was open to paying hourly but I felt overcharged for time where no work was conducted. They charge for travel time for parts.....even if they forget and have to go back for more parts. So it’s best to get an understanding of the total job and parts, so you aren’t charged for unnecessary travel. I would use them again, but I’m going to get an estimate first.Update: Changed my rating to one star (previously 3 stars) after the false claims the owner made below and how inappropriate her response was. If they can blatantly lie on a public forum, they are capable of doing anything. See previous poor reviews. It was not a huge discount since one should only pay for work that was done. They removed one hour charge which should have never been charged in the first place. They call that a huge discount???? And I was not told that they would charge for travel from the start. The tech brought the wrong breaker switch parts and would have to go back for the right one. The first tech likely communicated the wrong equipment which is the reason the second tech had to correct this. A customer should not have to pay for that. If they would have said this, I would have gladly asked to give me an upfront estimate before approving the work. In addition, the tech did not wait an hour for me on a conference call. He waited 15 min (not one hour!!) and I told him when he called the day before that I would be on a conference call. So the tech was well aware of this. I even have security camera footage that can prove this. As you can see from my previous review, I kindly said I would use them again but request an upfront estimate, but after this very rude response, I will not. They charged me for 8 hours of work. When actual work done was 4 hours based on my own security camera. And they sent a tech one day and I never heard back from that tech. So they had to send a different tech where I spent another good part of my time to show the same stuff twice. Yes...time is not free, but when I had a very simple job I don’t expect that to take the amount of days and hours to complete. My wife waited all morning one day for the tech to show and he never did. They installed an outdoor ceiling fan and switch (which was the only time the baby nap time COULD have been an issue since the attic entrance was in the baby’s room), 20 ft of OUTSIDE conduit to a motion light on the garage apartment ( no sleeping baby issue there) and replaced three breaker switches located OUTSIDE (no sleeping baby issue again). That amount of work doesn’t take 8 hours. They provided a so called 2 hour discount while still charging me for 6 hours which is above the amount of actual hours worked. So I have been very very patient....this was even after calling a good solid week in advance to arrange the appointment. And the sleeping baby went to bed at 2pm for one hour and They said they just needed access to the attic to run wire for the ceiling fan and would not need to go in there again. So the sleeping baby was not an issue. I am so shocked by the response of this business.

Where to begin… Installation of our standby generator was incredibly poorly done. From permit issues, improper gas hookup resulting in a gas leak, incomplete installation of the transfer switch, improper rust prevention on an installed gas line. And that was before they committed fraud by charging my card for services they hadn’t provided, then telling me it was my fault they had entered my email address incorrectly into their monitoring system and wanted an extra $15 for the chargeback that came from their mistake—of course I said that I wouldn’t be charged a fee for their mistake… they waited a few weeks and went ahead and charged the fee anyway.All said, avoid this company like the plague.Edit to the company response: “No mistake was made when setting up the account.”—absolutely false and I have the emails and contract for the Omnimetrix system to prove it.“our accounting manager sent you the invoice making you aware of the charge. Instead of calling our office to clarify, you stopped payment, and claimed that we had not set up the service.”—Kim only contacted me after the stop payment, no one responded to the many emails I sent before that.“The $15.00 charge back was from you stopping payment, which could have been avoided had you contacted our office.”—I made it 100% clear I wasn’t going to take responsibility for the $15 you decided to charge because of your office’s mistakes. Your business charged it anyway. What would you call that?

Kevin with Texas Electrical does excellent work. He is a very good problem solver and excellent communicator. He is very intelligent and is able to quickly come to a resolution on difficult issues. This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!

Scam company don't pay there anything intel they finish the job, the city of Houston should go check them and stop them from scamming people .

I had a new build and Blake has done all the electrical work. He is very professional and very helpful with my many questions. I just found him in a google search. I would call him again for any electrical needs.

I needed the underground wiring (drops) replaced at our home and called several businesses to provide me with a quote. C A Electrical was the last company I called and this company beat all the other offers and even included an upgrade to my breaker panel and meter box, because he said that I needed it in order to be up to code. The owner was very professional, the work was high quality, and the the pricing was very affordable. I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend this company. I am glad that we found them and will recommend him to everyone especially to all my family and friends because I know that they will be in great hands. I’ve been converting a van to live in and end up doing the electric myself but I wanted a professionals opinion to confirm everything was correct. So I called up 4eighty electric and they were happy to help! They drove out to my house on time and went through everything with me. They also wired my water heater and I couldn’t be happier! They were easy going and really did me a solid. My van is now up and running on its own with no problems. Thanks so much 4eighty electric. I recommend their services for anyone. I really liked that they were able to see me within 2 days.

OMG responded very quickly and took a hands on approach to calculating how big of a standby generator I needed to run my whole house. They relocated and replaced my main panel with a larger capacity panel, trenched and ran over 40' of conduit, set my generator and transfer switch/panel, contracted a plumber for the gas connections, pulled all permits and inspections with the city of conroe. He came out to do the panel load test on February 22nd, he started the job on the 28th and he was completely finished and inspected by March 15th. Overall an excellent experience... I definitely recommend OMG.
