I had one wall in an upstairs bedroom (two switches and one outlet) that weren't receiving power. Circuit breaker was all good and it was obviously isolated to that one wall. The technician spent about 10-15 minutes diagnosing before saying I needed a circuit breaker test (tracing the problem) which would cost $450. After he found the problem, fixing it would start at $699 according to a predetermined pricing chart he handed me.I felt uncomfortable and what seemed like a friendly chat turned into him handing me his iPad to sign an agreement for what seemed like an excessive amount before any work whatsoever was done. Thehigh pressure sales tactic was off-putting and I refused to sign, called another company, and turns out it was a simple loose wire in the switch. After this experience, there is no way I'd ever recommend Mr Sparky for anyone's electrical problems.

Mid-West Electrical has been our electrical service provider for over 30 years now. They have done everything from small jobs to large major jobs. Their office personnel to their electricians have all been great to work with. Very professional and responsive to all our needs. Special thanks to Justin Lewis for his quick responses, input and expertise in obtaining quotes and willingness to help out were needed. Lone Star Electric was owned by another and 5 years ago under previous management, a new electrical panel was installed upside down at a client's home and would not pass inspection when they went to sell it. The homeowner reached out to Lone Star Electric 5 years later (present day) and asked if they could help resolve this problem. Though they did not own Lone Star Electric at the time, the current owner/management , stood by their name and their work, and sent two electricians out to my client's house and spending 4 hours working on rebuilding and correctly installing the panel, all at absolutely no charge to my client! Their professionalism is unbeatable and though I personally had not used them for electrical services prior to this, I am very very impressed and will recommend them to all my clients! Good work Lone Star Electric!
