The electrician that came out was very nice and went with me to a couple of places to track down a new timer for my pool pump. He selected the timer and installed it. Now a couple of weeks later my pool company tells me that the wrong voltage timer was installed and this caused my pump motor to burn up. Seeing that this is costing me $525 for a new motor (which was replaced within the last 2 years) I also am having to pay them for the installation of the correct voltage timer which was another $250. When you add in taxes I am having to pay $800 for something that should have cost me perhaps $275. Oh and that is not counting the nearly $200 I paid you. My pool company has recommended that I not use your services again and I have to agree.

Nextdoor has been a breath of fresh air. They have immediate appointments available and their electricians show up during the window quoted. The electricians we have had the pleasure of interacting with are knowledgeable, honest, and respectful (Tae, Salat, and Andres). Inspection has not passed from a project installing the manual transfer switch for the generator the inspection for this install failed and the permit has remained open since July 2021 all calls have gone unanswered from this company. We had the manual transfer switch installed for emergency generator capabilities and when the inspector came out to close the permit they found that there is not disconnect on the building side of the meter. This is a code violation. In order to fix this issue, the city of Houston is looking for “existing and new 1 line drawings” of the electrical in the facility. This has not been supplied as of today 4/8. I am reaching out to other contractors to have this resolved.

I started with Dempsey when I bought my house in 2006 all the lights were flickering. They gave me a new electrical box at reasonable price. Since then I had a plug and a switch in my kitchen needing repair. I can't say enough good about these guys. Call them around 10 am. They come out, prompt, easy to work with, friendly, family oriented and reasonably priced. I am so happy home today as my switch and dishwasher are working. I never could have fixed this myself. They upgraded the switch to pigtail aluminum wiring and better power for the appliance. Good work guys. I highly recommend you to everyone.
