I called Paul Richard Electric on Sunday after having an increasing problem with intermittently dimming lights throughout the house. It had gotten so bad that It knocked out two surge protectors overnight while we were sleeping.We had already had Centerpoint out to check their equipment that morning. They had cleared some brush from around the poles and said there was no other problem on their end. When I called Paul, he said he could have someone out that day to check out the problem.Larry and Ruben arrived about two hours later. They did a thorough inspection and found nothing unusual enough from the voltage readings to cause our problems. While they were there, the power went out. They went out to check on it and found that there were Centerpoint trucks a couple of houses down working on the transformer! We had Larry and Ruben perform some routine Electrical panel maintenance and work up an estimate for some additional issues that needed addressing.I have nothing but good things to say about Larry and Ruben. They were on time, knowledgeable, and efficient, and they patiently explained everything they were doing. Even though it turned out that our problem was really a Centerpoint issue, I am very grateful to Paul for sending out his team on a Sunday to check it out. I will definitely be calling them again soon to take care of some safety issues they pointed out and plan to use them for all my future electrical needs.

I am very satisfied and will be using NextDoor Electric for any future electrical work. I needed an EV charger professionally installed, and this place was in the neighborhood. I never used NextDoor Electric before, but after reading all the reviews I decided to give them a chance. The reviews don't lie, NextDoor Electric is excellent. They worked with me to set an appointment that worked best for my schedule and answered any questions I had prior to the appointment. On appointment day, they were able to get me a very reasonable quote and perform the work all within the stated appointment window. The quote came in lower than I expected, and much lower than the recommended installers from the EV manufacturer themselves. On top of that, NextDoor Electric warranties all of their work, making them a great value.One thing I will note is that EV chargers are still relatively new, and each manufacturer has their own special installation instructions. Please don't expect NextDoor (or any electrician) to be product experts for every charger out there, there will be some on-the-job learning and double-checking to make sure the install is done correctly. I won't knock NextDoor Electric on this detail because its new for everyone. However, I saw Tae (the installer) take several pictures and notes to send back to their office that I hope will be used for future jobs.Finally, ask for Tae, he's a good guy and very friendly. Very thorough with his work, and cleaned up after the job was done.

I wanted a transfer switch installed on the circuit breaker panel of my old house so I can power it with an external generator after storms. Jeremy Friedner came out immediately, checked it out and gave me a quote. It was pretty pricey, but I said O.K. since I'm a firm believer in using pros. He and another electrician came out a few days later--right on time--and installed it in 2-3 hours with no muss or fuss. It works perfectly! My single minor gripe is that they didn't wear masks. But since the work was done outside and in the garage, I'm good with it. Five stars.

Colby the Electrician with Wired Electrical Services made extensive wiring corrections that were required to eliminate numerous wiring errors made by another Generac Home Emergency Generator Supplier we contracted with to install a Generac Residential Standby Generator.And we contracted with Wired Electrical Service to provide PM Service on our Generac Generator, and Michael has been our service representative and performs his work extremely well, and also very responsive. From our experience, we highly recommend Wired Electrical Service for Home Emergency Generator installations and associated PM Maintenance Service.PS: Our Generac Standby Generator has been inservice and responsive to power outages ever since Wired Electrical Service make the wiring corrections and tested the operation of the Unit under full power load. And the PM services they have provide are FIRST CLASS and completed in accordance with the full PM Requirements and Schedules specified by Generac for our model Standby Generator (Required to Maintain the Full Generac Warranty).

We built a new home and the builder used them for the electrical work. They did not do a good job. Really bad positioning of light switches, switch plates are loose, walls have been pushed in by forcing switch plates on the wall, cracks by switch due to these forced switch plates. The only way I could get them to come take a look after we moved in was to hold their money. They still didnt fix my walls and said they dont do sheet rock work. Which means they break it but dont fix it. Not to mention 2 of the breakers (washer/dryer and kitchen wall plug breaker) keep tripping. It's been a year but I am still finding these details as far as the switch plates and not happy.

He did a great job installing everything and did not rush through even though it was an all day job! Where most companies are cutting corners to leave faster, Ryan and the team inspected every detail to ensure it was done right. He made great recommendations and none that were unnecessary. Ohms did some work for me a couple years ago and did an excellent job. So I recently asked for a quote to do some additional work and they were very disappointing to work with this time around. It is unfortunate that their customer service is going to cost them this work and future work with me.The details - They failed to get me the first quote, and I had to call them to find out what happened and to get a second visit arranged. They then failed to show up for the second visit. When I called to find out what was going on, they fabricated a story that I had called them and said that “I was confused and didn’t want to get the work done”. After expressing my frustration, Tonya at Ohms proposed sending me a quote without having to do another visit, and recommended that it would make sense for my situation to split the work up into two quotes to tackle one at a time. The quote I received was not split and was incorrect in a few places. When I asked her to make the corrections, part of which was reducing the scope of work, she increased the cost by 30% in the updated quote, citing that the reason was efficiencies lost by having to make multiple trips (Ohms is 10 min from my house). She then lied to me for a second time when she stated that she never recommended multiple trips. It was at this point that I chose to go with another service provider.

If anyone need assistance with any type of electrical work and pulling permits for the work being performed I would HIGHLY recommend using Alpha Electric Company. I worked with Jeanne Stubbs, she is amazing and has a lot of knowledge in this area. The technician arrived timely and did an excellent job. Simply amazing work! Thank you so very much!
