Best Electrical Project in Phoenix AZ

Had to have silicon replaces in our new shower that was installed beginning of February. Josue munoz and Martin Alvarez were the ones that did the work today and it looks better than it did from the installation. Very pleasant, like I said, did a great job and everything was cleaned up when they were finished.

Called into get some information, that was a mistake spoke with steve must just woke up.
I let him know that I found this company on the web and seemed a bit lost. I asked him if they would build a casita in Mesa, if he was familiar with the City building codes. steve said we are bizzy and we are not doing any more projects this year . Okay I will call a company that is interested in business . Great job steve

From the first meeting with James, I was impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. He took pictures of the kitchen and explained what I was looking at and allowed me to ask questions. The second meeting was to discuss installation details. He was also very attentive and told me he would be on site and to direct any questions to him during the installation. I received personal attention every step of the way and the kitchen looks fabulous!!

Veny and John installed this granite surround to encase our fireplace and TV. Although the TV is not mounted yet, we couldn’t have asked for a better result. These guys were meticulous in every detail of this installation. If you want a quality product give these guys a call.

I think this company is out of business. I left three messages over the course of three weeks seeking an appt to get modifications done for a disability. I heard nothing and cannot believe there are any five star reviews. Maybe if they were actually in business they could get five stars. Although their voice mail says Independence Home Remodel and this is Mike they do not appear to be in business since they do not answer their phone or return voice messages. They do not deserve your money - either they don't need your work or are actually out of business.

I hope my review will steer you away from pursuing business with Handy Connection. We initially reached out to Elizabeth Evans based on many of the reviews seen below, but our family has had a significantly different experience that we wanted to share.

Elizabeth came out to our home for an estimate for some electrical work. She explained to us that she typically prices out the work two ways, one with an hourly rate and another with a per item cost. Her ploy is to list two prices, but you will end up paying the higher price anyway.

They grossly overestimate their ability to perform the work they agreed upon. While a single fan and switch was added to my project, the initial timeframe to complete the work went from 4 hours to 5 separate visits to home. This is due to multiple damages that were created while attempting to complete the project. Between visits she left us with holes in our home both inside and out. Even more concerning is that I had to plead with her to come back between visits to finish the job, but she was reluctant per her own accord based on late-night drinking.

We payed for 2 skilled electricians to perform the work, but Elizabeth Evans showed up with her office secretary who per own admission it was her first time on a job site.

Her attempt to repair the damages that were created were incredibly poor. I had enough of her craftsmanship and did not wish for her to perform any additional work on our home. We asked her to not return.

Subsequently, I received a bill for an amount that was never agreed to. She never provided written change orders for pricing. The predatory billing is incredibly unethical.

I offered to pay the original amount and pay someone else to complete the work that they were incapable of satisfactorily completing. They refused and threatened to place a lien on our home over a difference of a couple hundred dollars. Complaints have been filled with the. BBB and ROC.

Trust me, there are better electricians out there. I urge you to please avoid using Elizabeth Evans, save yourself headaches, time, and endless frustration.

CAUTION: THEIR RESPONSE IS A LIE.
1) I NEVER REQUESTED TO HAVE TWO PRICING OPTIONS, THIS WAS OFFERED TO ME.
2) I ADDED A FAN AND SWITCH --> THIS EQUATED INTO 5 ADDITIONAL VISITS TO COMPLETE THE JOB.
3) WORK THAT WAS ON THE ORIGINAL INVOICE WE ELECTED TO NOT PERFORM (I.E. INSTALLING CAMERAS), YET WE ENDED UP WITH A SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER BILL TO ADD A SINGLE FAN AND SWTICH.
4) THE ADDITIONAL PRICING WAS NEVER DISCUSSED.
5) I NEVER THREATENED TO BLAST YOU, NOT SURE WHAT THAT EVEN MEANS. I DO WANT TO WARN PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS.
6) I'VE OFFERED TO PAY THE ORIGINAL INVOICE FOR THE WORK PLUS THE FAN, NOT YOUR BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING WITH 2X THE LABOR COSTS. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OTHER COMPANY'S ESTIMATES, JUST YOUR OWN.

D&D Construction is a company that I will avoid because no one answers their phone nor call back.

We hired XLT to renovate 3 bathrooms in our house. They installed walk in shower, change the shower fixtures in master bathroom and install tile floor in all 3 bathrooms. We were very satisfied with the quality of materials provided and the installation work. We recommend to our friend and they renovated their master bath with XLT.

I left a message regarding an inquiry to build out an ADU in my back yard with a receptionist. Even though Scott's company is limited to the East Valley, he gave me a call back explaining that he could not work in Glendale because it would be cost prohibitive to do so. Regardless of a logistics problem he called me back to inform me of this and answered a ton of questions regarding my endeavor, even though he knew he could not receive my business. There are not that many people these days that would spend time and call you back, this shows his integrity in business. Again, thanks for answering my basic questions and the referral Scott.

Handyman Connection recently completed our master bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were recommended by a friend of ours after they remodeled her master bathroom. We are beyond impressed with their professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship. Allen, the owner, met with us on numerous occasions before work even started. He was quick to respond to all of our questions, and guided us in the right direction. We received an estimated cost of the remodel upfront. As work started, we added additional items to the project. Allen ensured we discussed all costs and approved them before the additional work was completed. He was reasonable and fair throughout the entire process. He came by our home several times during the remodel and checked in with us to ensure we approved several details of the project. Additionally, it was clear that he supports his employees, as he spoke highly of them and brought our contractor lunch. Mark was our contractor and we could not have been more pleased with his demeanor, work ethic, and craftmanship. He showed up on time every day and he worked hard. He consulted with us throughout the entire project (our preference) and offered his professional opinion, helping us make decisions about details. When an unforeseen electrical problem arose, Handyman Connection addressed the issue immediately so our project would not delayed. When Mark finished the job, our bathroom and kitchen design looked exactly as we had imagined. I highly recommend Handyman Connection if you are planning to remodel any aspect of your home, you will not be disappointed!

10/10 would recommend Quentin - we are SO happy that we chose him to do our home remodel. We felt confident with our choice not only based on other reviews, but we knew right from meeting him we could trust him with the entire process! We we’re on a tight timeline and he assured us it could be done and did not disappoint!! From design ideas, to making sure it could be done within our budget, we are beyond impressed with how everything turned out. He and his team are so professional, easy to communicate with, QUICK workers who will get the job done correctly without cutting corners and they are SO clean as they work as well, which was such an added unexpected bonus! Our experience with Acuity Builders was the best I have ever had with a contractor. After the hail storm we learned that our roof and air conditioner were damaged and had to be replaced. I called multiple companies and went with Acuity because they were the least expensive but also the quickest to get back to me. Ken Hawk came and talked to my husband and me personally, answering our many questions with patience and professionalism. He walked us through what the insurance process entailed and then took care of everything, including dealing with the insurance directly! The workers he hired were clean, polite and courteous, leaving no mess behind like other roofing companies have done. When a minor problem came up many months after the work was completed I called Ken and he had someone there within a couple of days- problem fixed! Imagine getting this kind of quality workmanship and customer service from the lowest bidder! Companies like this DO exist! I can not recommend Acuity Builders and Construction strongly enough!
