Greg was extremely knowledgeable, prepared and also a good listener. I was “open” to the idea of solar after many years of not being convinced it was a good investment and with constant technology changes. It wasn’t until my APS bill went up $50/month (I’m in equalizer and used AC less and thermostat was set higher), that I knew it was time to consider solar. Greg was professional from the beginning and very personable. Never was he pushy, just informative. I referenced my APS usage through my online account and was able to easily compare how I would benefit with solar by paying less and able to lock in a 20 year rate (lease). My house accommodated the amount of panels I needed to match my current power usage. I’m paying $240/month for a 2400 sq ft house on the APS equalizer plan. My new bill will be locked in at about $185 because of solar and will likely eliminate my need and bill for APS supplies power. I did the math and took into consideration the increased and future increases with APS bills, and solar was the way to go. I’m looking forward to using cleaner energy that is generated directly from the sun and not spending as much green ($$).

Because my solar setup was purchased by a previous homeowner and installed by an out of business contractor, I had a difficult time finding anyone that would return my call for an inverter replacement (even though listed as service companies on the manufacturer website). Universal was the only company that acted like they wanted to help and got my inverter replaced under warranty. Communication was great from the office, replacement was quick, and they handled everything with the manufacturer so I can see the production info on the app. I’d highly recommend Universal. So I dealt with Mark, Chris, and Natalie at Aneva. This installation was for a rental property and I was out of state. I cannot tell you the planning and coordination Aneva had to go through during Covid to get this done. I really want to thank the whole team for the time, effort, and energy. We contacted Tommy through Yelp and he responded right away. He even came to our house the same day to give us a quote on upgrading to a new 200 amp panel. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and we really liked how he took the time to explain everything to us. He worked with SRP to obtain all the permits and kept us in the loop during the whole process. Tommy and Pedro arrived at our house early in the morning and got the new panel installed in half a day. They consolidated about 4 old boxes into one brand new panel box. Both Tommy and Pedro took the time to go over all the new breakers and test everything out with us before leaving. We purchase solar panels that still produce $200 plus SRP bills. We are supposed to have zero to no bills. We were introduced to Meraki by Darian Pacheco and he's gone above and beyond to extend great value and no electric bills plus added energy saving tools to increase our savings and solar offsets. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

The previous owner of the house that I purchased had Sunrun install panels a couple years ago.
The actual energy produced is much less than they claim that the panels are producing. They are trying to claim that the panels are putting out 1,000 kWh, but they are actually only delivering 600 kWh. I tried to contact them about the issue, but they were too stuck on repetitively asking me what app I was using, to actually address my issue. I guess their computer system was promoting them that it was an application issue and they were too ignorant to actually provide relevant answers.
Do not go with Sunrun, if you want solar. The cost that you will pay for their panels will be much higher than what you will save in energy costs from your regular energy provider.

Not happy at all. I have had many issues from informing me of tax situations, to issues with the Mini split Ac, then poor workmanship to blame for nearly catching my house on fire. No worries...I’m mechanically inclined to diagnose issues like this and repair it myself. Forget the follow ups or returning calls or emails! Nice job John Himstreet! Your a real dandy.

My experiences?
We now have solar panels on our house.
As a note: this purchase started around Feb 2020.

I am not happy with the electrical panel work.
It is sloppy, amateur and unfinished.
We will wind up hiring a professional electrican to redo the whole thing so it is at least more pleasing to the eye.
There are plastic zip ties expose to full sun south side of house holding on to yards of copper ground wire to old conduit.
How long does ANYONE think that will last?
We had some rewiring done that would require some kind of weather proofing connectors that are left wrapped in electrical tape only.
These are the major wires going in/ out of house electrical panel on the roof, exposed to the elemnts.

I inquired of the sales person about how we use electricty prior to buying solar and how our usage might change. I was given an anwser that I thought at the time seemed to not make sense. I trusted the reply.
So, of course now our bills have doubled.

We were told our design was challenging,;small house and trees, but there seemed to be no aesthetic to the installation. If it was such a challenge or could not met expectations I would have much rather had that anwser.
There are more specifics, however this would be a book
No one will ask me Who did your solar?
And if they did, I wouldn't recommend this company.

It is such a shame to have this experience. This is new technology and people are excited about having this alternative. I want to use this renewablle energy but not with this company.
