The last 6 weeks I have used Penquin for several projects. I called and got quotes on the 3 projects. They seemed a little high but in line with what other people were paying. I wanted to work with somebody that could do all the projects. Needless to say I am totaly disappointed in theend. I will say all of the agents were good clean and did good jobs but the final straw was they finished installing a bidet I questioned the final cost. The time it took to do this job was around 1/2 hour. $612 labor. I questioned the agent and he turned very defensive and repeating I agreed to the cost. This is true and all I wanted to know his take on this. As I finished my conversation with him I said it would be a cold day in hell before Penquin Air would step in my house.

We began the day seeking a quote for hot water heater replacement.Without prior knowledge or preparation, Ramesh coordinated with Kris and Joe Lord to install a water softener in addition to the new hot water heater, along with two cartridges and a faucet.All of the work was done in an absolutely professional manner, but also in a very friendly way. The installation was remarkable, especially in contrast to the prior amateurish install.There are pictures of the finished product. The entire extemporaneous project was completed by sundown.We could not be more satisfied with the quality of the work that was done or the skilled tradesman that performed it.Kudos to your entire staff.

Outstanding service! you cannot go wrong with Comfort Experts! Yesterday it hit 116 degrees in Phoenix and our air conditioner stopped working suddenly. Early on Saturday morning my wife called Comfort Experts to diagnose the issues. Ryan, the owner, responded literally within two minutes and mentioned that he could be at our house shortly thereafter, which occurred as he said. Ryan and an employee took only about 5 minutes in our house to identify that wiring cables in our attic had caught fire, which could have been extremely dangerous. Ryan had all equipment on hand to replace the cables and a battery contained with the main unit.

All-in-all, truly remarkable work and a definite 5 star rating. It was a Saturday, Ryan responded immediately, and, fixed a potentially dangerous issue within minutes. Normally you might have to wait hours just for a technician to show up. Luckily, we have befriended Comfort Experts and will use them forever.

So, we called ProSkill Services with the expectation of having to replace our garbage disposal.ProSkill Services sent Craig S. to our home to evaluate the problem. Craig arrived on time, and in less than one minute discovered a very small piece of a broken plastic spoon wedged in the disposal. Using needle nose pliers, he quickly plucked out the piece of plastic, and the disposal was quiet once again and running well.As it turned out, we did not need an expensive garbage disposal replacement as first thought. And, because we have an annual service maintenance agreement with ProSkill Services, there was no charge for the visit or the removal to the offending plastic object.As an added service, Craig also took the time to explain how we could extend the life of our present garbage disposal by performing a quick and simple maintenance task once every month (greatly appreciated).We have used ProSkill Services for over five years for repairs and preventive maintenance of our plumbing, water softener, water heater, electrical, and HVAC system. My wife and I have been using Scott for over 4 years, since we moved back to Ahwatukee. We had two old AC units that we needed to have serviced. I was really impressed with Scott's approach. He checked each unit and gave us several options. He explained how he could cheaply repair them to keep them working, or he could replace one or both units. Every time we call Scott for work, he tried to help us understand the issue, and he always tells us how he can do the job in the most cost effective way. I have never felt like he has tried to pressure us into expensive, unnecessary work. This year we finally had Scott replace both units. In the process he found work that was done incorrectly by the builders. He came back multiple times to make sure his work was completed to 100%, and to fix the problems caused by others. There is no one else we would trust to do our Plumbing or AC work.

Very expensive for nature of work done.

Our experience with Pro-Tec refrigeration was terrible. We hired them to fix a commercial freezer, that was operating, but wouldn't reach sub-zero temps. After their tech worked on it, the unit would no longer reach temps below the high 30's rendering it completely unusable. I contacted the office the next day (Sat.) and was promised that a technician would be at our place of business first thing Tuesday morning. No one showed up and we have been unable to get a return call. However, Pro Tec did charge our credit card over $1200. We were never given an invoice, any supporting docs or shown any old parts. I called another company and their tech was out the following day and completed the original repair, but also repaired the damage apparently caused by the Pro Tec (which is why it would no longer reach freezing temps after his 'repair'). I understand that people make mistakes, but Pro-Tec's complete lack of customer support and follow through, after the sale, is completely inexcusable in my book.

This company offers such a wide array of services that it makes it very convenient to have one contractor be able to handle your HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs on one visit for a whole home improvement. It is a huge hassle to have to coordinate estimates with various time windows from multiple contractors.
