Used 911 based on the reputation and ended up not moving forward with them. When I originally called for immediate service the representative lacked professionalism and complained about my location. The rep was great that came out to the house, however, we asked for a quote on two new AC's.... Which you would think is a great business opportunity from a customer, received the quote and it was pretty vague. I had to ask the rep what make/model they were suggesting we put in. Paid for the service call and parted ways.

You know that feeling of not being sure if the repair guy just ripped you off? Not a bit of it with Urban Appliance Repair. If all service people were like this, life would be just better. That doesn't, of course, address the problem of engineered obsolescence in modern appliances, which he didn't create. When my refrigerator melted down, Ilya showed up on a Sunday (!) , worked quickly to diagnose my problem and was happy to discuss options with me. Although the repair was expensive, I did not in the least feel ripped off as he explained clearly and showed me the problem. When, a couple of weeks later, I was still having problems with the refrigerator, which is only 4 years old, he again patiently showed me the new and separate problem part, and ordered a replacement. He texted me when he had the part and offered a day and time to install it. Although he did not make the appointment time, he let me know in advance he was running late. You can't ask for more than that. How does he know how long he will be working on someone's problem? He can't. He was willing to discuss brands with me as I was concerned about two expensive repairs in a short time, and helped me make the better decision about not spending for a new unit. Not only that, he always asks me if he should remove his shoes before he even enters my house, and he is polite. He cleans up after himself. Top notch. You won't go wrong with Urban Appliance Repair.

We love HVAC and use them for our A/C and heating system. I had the tech come out this morning to fix an issue, He was Prompt, Polite and explain everything he was doing along the way. Excellent Technician- as they all are.

We realized we had a leak from the a/c handler in the attic, on Saturday night. After calling several places that claimed to be available 24/7 only Semper Fi responded. They came quickly and had a solution for the long term and short term quickly. We have two young children in the household and they voluntarily brought in a portable AC until within two hours. The installation was flawless. The workers efficient and professional. They communicated every step of the way with us and gave us a great experience at every level from first call to them to completing the installation. I don't usually give reviews, but these folks absolutely deserve one. They replaced my Solar Panel Inverter Cell Modem with hardwired connection to my router. They were ontime, fast, courteous, and professional. Can't say enough good about them.
