Ilya was very nice and competent. He was able to identify and fix the issue with my refrigerator on the same day. He happened to have the spare part in his van. Outstanding service, and very nice guy. Very reliable!!! I will definitely use Urban Appliance Repair in the future if I need to.

Fridge went out overnight. Called Ilya and he arrived on short notice within 2 hrs. Diagnosed the issue immediately (needed new motherboard), ordered the part, and got it replaced in less than 24hrs. He does quality work and gives solid answers (unlike other repair companies I've called in the past). Would highly recommend Ilya.

I wish I could give them 0 stars but I can't. I called and had them come out on a Saturday to look at a Samsung washer that stopped working. The tech was not able to do anything at all and scheduled for another tech to come Monday. I called Monday morning to confirm the time and the dispatcher tells me we are not on the schedule today, I relayed the events of Saturday and how the tech said he scheduled someone else to come Monday and she said that only she can schedule appointments and the techs cannot. Save yourself some time and find a different company to use besides them!!!

Ilya was terrific! Very knowledgeable, immediately diagnosed the problem as a stuck relay. A previous company had misdiagnosed the problem as a bad compressor and could not resolve the problem for 2 days. Ilya was there within one hour and fixed it in 10 minutes! There are a lot of bad appliance repair companies out there, some of them masquerade under multiple names. Urban Appliance is a very good one I will use again!

Jaleel went above and beyond to fix our dryer. I called late Friday afternoon, and he was at our house the next day. He was efficient in fixing our dryer and communicated well. Very happy with his work and will recommend in the future.

First I asked for a courtesy call when on the way. Didn't do that. Showed up the most unfriendly rude service person that step foot in my house. Just plain rude. He asked what's the problem. I told him I was able to get a sock out of the hose. He then said very rude so what it's not fixed? I said I am not awash machine fixer why I called you. No personally rude. Without looking at although I know he could hear it he daid 2 hundred something. So rude I decided to say Nevermind. He said 75 dollars. I asked 75 goes towards fixing it he said yes. I told him his customer service is ABSOLUTELY horrid horrid he walked out daid have a nice day and left. I never ever encountered such a person.ZERO STSRS

Everything would have been fine if the office would let people know their techs call from California I tend not to answer 415#s I seem to get alot of spam calls

We installed a new garbage disposal last week. Shortly after we tried to run the dishwasher. It of course wouldn't run a full cycle or drain. After many failed attempts on Youtube, we called Urban Appliance Repair. They came out 2 days later. The issue was fixed within 10 minutes and the technician stayed to listen to the dishwasher start. Awesome company, I will be recommending them to all my friends and coworkers.

I really didn’t want to have to leave this review but we have spent over $2k (which I thankfully have been able to get a warranty to cover) with Ilya on two trips to fix our fridge and it is still leaking water inside. Been reaching out to him since June to get it fixed for good and he has continued to push off getting answers and fixing it. I’ll update when and if it gets fixed.

Our fridge just died out of nowhere. Illya and his staff were quick to reply and came out the same day. Diagnosed the issue and ordered and replaced the part we needed with no hassle or issue and at a reasonable cost. Would definitely use them again and recommend to my family and friends!

I called the business to repair my refrigerator. They came and told me that is was frozen over . So to fix it, he unplugged the refrigerator and told me to let it defrost for 24 hours and plug it back in. After 24 hours I plugged back in and it still would not work. I called him back as he said the service call would be applied to the repair and to call him back if that did not work. He never returned my call so I am out a service fee for unplugging my refrigerator. I do not recommend ro anyone!

Contacted the company on Friday to schedule an appointment to shim my double oven as we recently had new cabinets installed and there was a small gap at the top of the cabinet cut-out. The scheduler was very nice - asked her manager if that was work that they could perform - she confirmed and said the cost would be $180. She confirmed an appointment for Memorial Day - which I questioned as it was a holiday. She said that yes, they were working. On Monday - they were a no show and when we called to ask - they said someone deleted it off the schedule..... again, the scheduler was very nice and they rescheduled the work for Tuesday.

On Tuesday, a gentleman showed up - not very pleasant. Didn't bring any tools/equipment and came in to look at the job. Said it would take 3 people to lift out the oven and it would cost $380. I would think an appliance repair company would have a dolly/lift to remove/install the double oven. Other companies that have had to work on the oven have had/used such devices.

Other reviews on this site are why I called/selected Urban Appliance repair - but we were dissatisfied with them actually showing up, the demeaner of the person who came to the house, and that they didn't have the tools required, and couldn't complete the work at a reasonable cost....

Avoid this company and Ilya at all costs. We were having issues with our refrigerator cooling and so we called this company. He said freon was low so we had him refill it ($225). This didn’t fix it so we had him come back out. Said to turn off the fridge for 24 hours and then plug back in. If problem wasn’t fixed in a month then it’s the control board. Everything was fine for a month and then fridge temp started going up. Called him again to get a new control board ($409). He came out to repair and replace control board and still did not fix the issue. Called another company to get second opinion and Urban Appliance did not actually replace control board. Tried calling, no answer. Had other people call, no answer. Ha! I GOT GOT! Do NOT use this company or Ilya. Avoid at all costs!

I had a outstanding experience with urban appliance repair had a problem with my sub zero refrigerator called urban yesterday on Friday morning told them the problem. They had put me on schedule the same day that was wonderful. Paul a young man came by look at the unit and told me that the relay on the compressor wasn't working gave me a great estimate with a one year warranty. Finished the repair the same day and now 24 hours later my unit is back running .

Definitely the company to call for any appliance repairs. I had issues with my subzero freezer and ilya definitely came through for me at a fair price didn’t try to rip me off and the quality speaks for itself will definitely be doing business with him again!

I had a problem with my refrigerator called them in the morning told them what's the problem, they send out ilya he showed up on time diagnosed the unit, told me what's wrong with it gave me a reasonable price I approved it and he went to the store picked up the part and came back and completed the repair and gave me a one year warranty on parts and labor. His a nice guy would really recommend this company they really now what they are doing I had a viking refrigerator that is 3 years old great guy knows his stuff.

I called them in the morning because I had a problem with my refrigerator it wasn't working. The tech came out the same day and told me what was going on with it have me a great deal with a one year warranty repaired it the same day now I'm happy and my wife is happy too. Can't say enough about the amazing service I received from Urban Appliance Repair. Fridge quit working and I came home from vacation to find quite the mess. Called up these fine folks and had someone out same day to take a look at it. Diagnosed the issue in minutes and came back early the next day with the part. Not only was he able to get everything running again, but he took the time to educate me on some go forward maintenance items to keep things running in top condition. I will highly recommend their services to anybody that asks....and probably a few people that don't.

Somehow I feel ripped off by this company. It feels like their business model is to take the money for service fee and never fix your appliance. I called them to fix my refrigerator. They sent a rocky that told me that I need a new compressor but he's not qualify to do the job and to call the office for a estimate. He charged me $65 and left. When I called the office the estimate has around $400 just for labor plus parts. So total around $700. $400 for maximum one hour of labor sounds to much for me. I decided to by another refrigerator new refrigerator for $1000.

I never write reviews, but I chose this company based on the good reviews that I read here and I was very disappointed. The technician came out to check my dryer and he demeanor was not very pleasant or professional. They had to order a part to repair my dryer and I was already $65 dollars in because of the fee to come out to check the dryer so I decided to go then. They told me they would call me when the part came in. I didn’t hear from them for days so I finally called and set up a time for them to come out. They gave me a two hour time frame, so I scheduled work around that, but they called an hour early and could not get a hold of me so they left and asked to reschedule. I hope the review will help someone else when they decide which company to go with.

After our home warranty company failed to locate someone to repair our freezer and let us know just before 5 on a Saturday evening, we were left scrambling to find a repair person.
He answered his phone quickly and was very friendly. I explained our situation and he said he may have an opening same evening. Ilya was able to come out and diagnose the issue quickly, plus had the parts on hand! He is reasonably priced too. Very impressed with his service and will be keeping his card on hand.

Do not use this company. Their tech came on Tuesday and charged us $65 just for showing up . The guy did not check anything inside the fridge, did not even move it and based on some search on his phone said that the issue is with main circuit board- that was just his guess. He quoted us for $500 for repair and told that he will call us back (on the same day) right after came back to their warehouse, to let us know if they have the part . No one has called us back, so I've decided to call them back. For the first time I called them on Friday and they said that someone will call us right back . Its Monday no still no response, so we called them again. We have explained what is the problem and they hung up the phone . we went with different company replaced sensor in freezer paid $150

We used this company for our fridge repair. It was so stressful to come home to a fridge that was not working in AZ in the middle of summer. This company was reccomend by a friend. Ilya was quick to answer and send someone out within hours. They diagnosed the issue and repaired our fridge in a quick manner and for a fair price saving us the hassle of buying a new fridge.

Had a problem with my fridge not cooling properly. Called Urban and they scheduled an appointment for two hours later. Tech Jaleel showed up on time, fixed the problem with a part he had on the truck, and was gone in an hour. Very courteous and professional. Was very impressed with the whole process, will call them again for service.

This might be lengthy, but please be aware that this company is ready to rip you off! Our washer broke and wouldn’t drain. So my husband looked up companies & since he has fairly good reviews my husband assumed it would be a safe path. The young guy showed up and after looking at it he said he needed to get a part and he would be back the next day to fix. So next day came & he came with the part. Awesome! Well he put in the new part & said it was working. He told me his service fee and my part came to $356. He said they don’t accept card only cash & check. So we wrote a check and he was off. Well not even 2 minutes later I go up to start the washer. Turns out it still was not working. I called him back up and he came to see what was happening. He said he needed another part and it would be 2-3 weeks to get. We are a family of 6!! I’ve been hauling our massive amount of laundry to & from my mother in laws almost daily. So 2-3 weeks is long, but I would just have to do it. So a month goes by and no call no show. We started texting him & calling him 2 weeks in for updates and no replies. I called the office & when the nice lady answered it was as if it was his house phone & his mom picked up or something. I explained the situation and she said she didn’t see an order and that she would call him and call me back. Again no returned call. So my husband called him and texted him again saying we are out the money and still no washer and how upset he is over it. Still nothing. We own a busy business here in Phoenix and we would never do this to a client. NEVER! They took our money & ran. It’s Christmas time... who does that?! So we are going a step further on this to get it resolved. At this point, it’s not about the money. I wanted to leave this review to warn others. Don’t go with this company. After reading other reviews, we aren’t the first & won’t be the last.

Update: I hired another company & my washer is now fixed. Urban did give us a full refund and I’m thankful for that.

We booked a 1-5 for a repair and at 5:30 we still had not heard from them. Called and they didn't care one bit, asked what we wanted to do...said just cancel if you can't even honor a 4 HOUR WINDOW! Recommend going with a larger more reliable service company. We are!

My fridge quit working overnight and I called them on a Saturday afternoon to see if they could help. Ilya answered right away and came out within a few hours. He was able to determine it was a bad relay, replaced it...now my fridge works and the stress is gone from my weekend again! Fair price for quick service with a warranty. Highly recommend!!

Some people know how to do things when you are not looking because they cheat this certified professional can work absolutely phenomenally under pressure, and is light year’s ahead of the competition he faces, his bedside manner‘s are regrettably unseen in todays divided economy he really gives a full service and delivery is nothing but excellent service and results I wish there were more stars that I can give him. I received the same day service and the only question that was asked of me besides where is the appliance that needs to be worked on was “do you have anything else that is in need of repair?” And he unlike most other business’s is operational seven days a week.

Ilya Uvaydov from Urban Appliance said he replaced the main board on my refrigerator. 2 days later the same problem came up. Called another company and we found out Ilya never replaced the part. I know that this review won't matter because he will probably change the company phone number but please, please call a reputable company for your appliance issues. Prior to calling Urban appliance please do some Google searching and see how he has scammed people. His Venmo has negative reviews...do not be a victim. Do not give this company your money.

You know that feeling of not being sure if the repair guy just ripped you off? Not a bit of it with Urban Appliance Repair. If all service people were like this, life would be just better. That doesn't, of course, address the problem of engineered obsolescence in modern appliances, which he didn't create. When my refrigerator melted down, Ilya showed up on a Sunday (!) , worked quickly to diagnose my problem and was happy to discuss options with me. Although the repair was expensive, I did not in the least feel ripped off as he explained clearly and showed me the problem. When, a couple of weeks later, I was still having problems with the refrigerator, which is only 4 years old, he again patiently showed me the new and separate problem part, and ordered a replacement. He texted me when he had the part and offered a day and time to install it. Although he did not make the appointment time, he let me know in advance he was running late. You can't ask for more than that. How does he know how long he will be working on someone's problem? He can't. He was willing to discuss brands with me as I was concerned about two expensive repairs in a short time, and helped me make the better decision about not spending for a new unit. Not only that, he always asks me if he should remove his shoes before he even enters my house, and he is polite. He cleans up after himself. Top notch. You won't go wrong with Urban Appliance Repair.

My freezer motor started to die on me earlier this morning. Called Urban Applicance Repair at about 10:30am and he scheduled me for a 4pm repair same day. Super quick turn around time for a Sunday. Ilya was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and was very nice. Can't thank him enough for getting us back up and going without worrying about losing our freezer food. Thank you so much!!

My dishwasher went out on a Friday. We called urban appliance repair and they said they could schedule on Sunday. So they told my husband they would be there at 4. They tech called me at 4 and said he was leaving mesa. I live in buckeye. He got there at 5pm asked me what was wrong with it when my husband already told them when he scheduled the appointment. He stayed for an hour trying to fix it and then he said he didnt know what was wrong with it because its a newer model. It's like 4 years old. He said his coworker would come the following day(monday). Monday came and gone. No one showed up. Tuesday I called at 8am. A man answered and told me he forgot to put me on the schedule. So he scheduled me for Wednesday at 12. At 1 on Wednesday I called and asked when they would be there. He showed up at 3pm and guess who it was. The same kid that didnt know how to fix it on sunday. He said he would call the scheduler and let me know. I never heard back from him. On Thursday I received a call at 4:15pm saying they were at my house to fix the dish washer. No one was home. When I called the front office and spoke to a woman she said she told me that she scheduled time. She didnt. My son has baseball practice during that time I wouldn't have scheduled it then. Please save yourself the time and dont call this company. Their service call might be cheaper but it's a waste of time.

Jaleel, was our service guy, he was safe when he entered and respected all covid guidelines, however the real satisfaction came from his review of the machine, and delivery on options. Once we determined the solution that we needed, he started the job and finished within a reasonable time. Jaleel was a great technician and I would recommend Urban Appliance to anyone.

NO STARS FOR THIS COMPANY We have a Viking refrigerator and he went out to repair it and still didn't work a few hours later it stopped working same problem I called him DIDNT ANSWER FOR 2 DAYS if anybody knows a Viking refrigerator they're very expensive and this is one of my rental properties with the tenant in there and he said that he had replaced a few things but come to find out I THE PARTS HE DID NOT REPLACE AT ALL paid over $1,400 to have this refrigerator repaired says he replaced a few things in there this was ALMOST 3 WEEKS AGO HAVENT SEEN HIM OR HEARD FROM THE OWNER OFURBAN SO DO NOT CALL THHEM THEY ARE NOT HONEST...

This company is a scam had them come out to fix my washer wasn't pumping the water out told me they would order the part and never did , showed up in a sedan with no tools don't believe the good reviews , believe the one stars these guys are con men, I'm reporting them to the better business bureau

This guy wouldn’t rest until he helped figure out what was wrong with my washing machine. He called others, he researched, and he saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing my machine. Reasonably priced and really committed to helping! Highly recommend.

Tried to call them on Sunday but go no answer and the voicemail box was full, guess they lost my business and several others, since there is no other way to contact them on their website.

He answered the phone at almost 9 pm. Was very friendly and helpful. No parts needed. Our refrigerator just needed to be reset. Was an affordable visit.
