If I could give Old South Texas Plumbing ten stars I would. I went through MANY “master plumbers” in an effort to fix the yard leak I had outside in my front yard. Many plumbers including SAWS came to my home to check the leak. The most they found was the leak did not belong to me. Nothing else, no one wanted to investigate. Maybe 1/5 plumbers told me they would charge 1000 to fix, without any idea how or telling me exactly what was wrong. For two weeks I had this huge puddle growing. I was out of hope , then I was given Michaels number. I was skeptical to call at first because I was afraid to hear the same thing … “ it’s not your leak “.. without anyone finding a solution for me. God must have sent Michael and O.S.T to me because as soon as he heard my situation, he assured me he would find a solution for me, AND HE DID! From the moment he arrived, he assessed the problem. It wasn’t easy but he got it fixed !!! Thank you! Forever grateful, thank you for making me feel comfortable. A lot of plumbers take advantage of women and people who know nothing about plumbing. My Beloved used them because they were designated as preferred contractors with the San Antonio water system. Couldn't have had a worse experience. The trenches had to be reconfigured and redone. The permits were not filed right. Had to go personally to figure things out. The son will not return phone calls in a timely manner. This held up the remaining subs from finishing work.It has been a fiasco.Attention to detail is everything. They don't have it.

This place is very unorganized and communication in non existent. The employees that work there do not greet you when you walk in and they make no attempt to help. Ordered flex pipe and called before I went to the store to make sure they were in stock and ready for pick up. They told me they were. When I arrived they did not have in stock and was told that they don't know when they will have in stock. They did not seem to care about my situation and did not care about customer service. Stay away from this place and go to Home depot or Lowes.

These guys don't care about their customers. Waited over 30 min. with only 4 people in front of me. Only one guy at counter and would not call for counter assistance even though customers are like 10 deep. This place sucks for sure.

Chris showed up on time, identified the problem right away. Fixed it quickly. I am very satisfied with his services.

Although this company came highly recommended from someone in his BNI group, it took us several weeks to reach any one by phone. we finally reached someone, and schedule an appointment for the next day at noon. We were told Kelly, the owner, will be the one coming. The appt was scheduled for noon. At 12:30, no one had arrived or contacted us, so I tried to call. It rang once and then the call was forwarded to voicemail, so I left a message asking if anyone was still coming. At 1:06 pm, I called again, same thing, left a voicemail, not as nice this time. It is now 4:30 the same day...no one has called or come by. I, too, own a business, and I cannot imagine blowing off my customers. We are looking for another company and do not recommend this company based on such poor customer service.
