My water heater was leaking on Feb.21 from a pin hole in the hot line out to the house, I turned the water off to the water heater and flipped the breaker on the side of the house. 5 Star was sent out Feb. 22 from Fidelity Home Warranty and they replaced the hot line, the technician told my Wife not to turn it back on until the water was gone in the drain pan and he also suggested removing the insulation around the water heater because it was saturated, when I got home from work in the evening I removed the insulation and my Wife had already removed the water out of the pan. I flipped the breaker and we had water until the evening of Feb.23, I tried the outside breaker and nothing, I called Fidelity and they sent 5 Star out on Feb.24 and he said it was a reset button on the inside of the water heater that tripped because the insulation on the inside was saturated, unbeknownst to us since he failed to mention that the first time. NOW Fidelity is trying to charge us for a call out fee and I tell them that the second call was because of the water line that started the whole issue, they say I would have to call 5 Star. When I called 5 Star the woman said it was my fault for turning off the breaker the first time and they won't call Fidelity and fix this issue. Terrible customer service, why would you call Fidelity and make yourself look bad even if it's the right thing to do.

Unreliable and shady is an understatement.They came out to quote our project at our new house for removing popcorn ceilings and painting the ceilings. We had an agreed upon amount of $2,100 paying $850 for an initial deposit.After delaying and procrastinating they finally got started. As we were set to move in, thinking they were close to done we soon realized they weren’t even close and next to none of my ceilings were painted. After bringing up all this we were met with nothing but excuses. After asking when they would come back, they asked for another payment of $600! We informed them they would get the final payment when the job was DONE! Once they heard that the decided not to finish the job, and came and grab all their stuff and moved on to the next project. They easily would have taken this amount and run! After being left high and dry, we now have to have PROFESSIONAL painters come out to clean up their mess. One painter took a look and said this is one of the worst jobs he has ever seen. Do not recommend to anyone!

KUDOS TO GREGG!!! He did an outstanding job installing our new dishwasher. Removed and disconnected water supply and drain lines. Installed new water supply and drain lines. Disconnected and reconnected electrical line. PERFECT installation. Ran a successful test. Carried the new dishwasher from garage to kitchen. Carried old dishwasher from kitchen to alley for city bulk trash pick up. Great attitude. I will be calling Classic Plumbing again when needed and ask for Gregg. Going to send contact info for Classic Plumbing along with a short review to friends and neighbors.

I had an Awesome experience with Roto-Rooter. Joe Young (0729) saved my day. He came in on very short notice (on Saturday withing 30 mins after I finished the call with hotline) to install my dishwasher, wasn't pushy at all and has a awesome working morale. I would definitely recommend Joe to anyone looking for help.

ABOVE AND BEYOND ! Was in desperate need of a plumber to help fix a sink faucet shutoff valve. Josh was the plumber technician sent to take care of me. He did an absolutely wonderful job. He was responsive, thorough and worked fast and efficient to get the leak fixed and found other problems that would cause problems down the road. He was also very clean and organized. After waiting till the second day (because they're not professional enough to stock each plumber with the right tool for the job) on the same service call, I had to call the plumber to confirm that he was still on the way, since he was 30 minutes late on the late afternoon scheduled appt...?

After stringing me on for another twenty minutes, he then proceeded to to tell me that he wouldn't make it to this part of town until 9-10:00pm....REALLY!

You were never going to make it on time, and if you thought the job was to small to be worth your time.....you should have just said so! I would have gotten another competent plumbing company in the south county area a day sooner!

Tim was absolutely amazing!! He arrived when he said he would and was meticulous in his work. He double checked with me before each project to make sure I liked the position of the paintings/mirror/shelves and took his time. He was friendly, fairly priced, and cared about the project. I wanted to hang 4 pieces of art that I loved (of all different sizes ) in my dining room and he gave me great suggestions on different ways to do it, and the result was just perfect! Highly recommend!
