With an emergency under-sink leak in my kitchen earlier this week, I went down the list of Arlington-area plumbers on Google, calling each one, and being turned down by each for same-day service. Then I reached Best Value Plumbing and Master Plumber John Thatcher. John, who was already busy with other jobs, MADE time to come out and take care of my problem. He has been out twice now, even fixing a couple of problems he didn't even charge me for. He has been totally accommodating to my schedule, and he did the required faucet replacement in a timely, thorough, professional manner - and at a reasonable price.

John is a dependable, no-nonsense, get-the-job-done-right professional who takes and returns phone calls, and who shows up when he says he's going to and does what he says he's going to do. Those traits are hard to find in contractors of any kind these days.

I received an estimate on Monday and they were back out on Thursday to do the installation. I connected with Emma at Home Depot who connected me to Amie receptionist David and Tyler. Javier with RCA provided amazing service to repair a few sprinkler heads that continued to be an issue and he resolved a big issue with an underground pipe. He had to analyze the issue and worked with my Warranty company to resolve everything. Prior to Javier coming out the Warranty company sent two other Plumbing Companies that were worthless. He will be my plumber for anything moving forward.

I built my own house, I hired all the contractors, bought all the materials, etc. I tried to hire local companies, but most weren't reliable. It took me 3 framers to finish the framing, and 2 drywall companies.

But D.Crowder was the exception for me. He and our welders Dark Horse of Granbury. D.Crowder was prompt, polite, worked hard even in 20 degree weather and late into the night. Even when the contractors digging the ditches for the foundation cut the tape holding my pipes in place, he dealt with it. When I had to add or change things, he just agreed, gave his opinion and we got on with it. I will only call D.Crowder from now on.
