I’ve used Best Value Plumbing on multiple occasions for my home over the past year. John is very prompt, knowledgeable, honest and provides excellent customer service! I would highly recommend to anyone that needs plumbing work done.

This company decided to ride my bumper to where I could only see his windshield out of the back of my Toyota Rav4 in a residential zone. I was going only a little under the speed limit because of the road conditions. I tried to call the company to advise them of one of their drivers to make a complaint and rudely got hung up on when I asked where I can direct my complaint to. Would not recommend especially if this is how they treat people. I can only imagine how they'd treat me as a customer.

Looks like I'm not the only one to experience driving concerns and getting hung up as well. Great quality customer service with this one.

Great service! John and Mary are a husband and wife team. They came and replaced a bad wall valve and toilet valve with all new parts. They didn't waste time and made sure the job was done right.

Called to report one of the drivers flying down Country Club. Which isn’t something I regularly do but he was going so fast it was concerning.

Me: hi, how do I report one of your drivers?
Him: what?
Me: (repeats question)
Him: I am the driver. What’s your problem?
Me: you were flying down Country Club.
Him: So?
Me: so you were going at least 50.
Him: and?
Me: so the speed limit is 40 and school just let out so it was 20.
Him: ok. *hangs up*

If you can’t do these things AND you’re in charge of a business, I hope people will see this and choose wisely. If someone cuts corners with the law, is rude to a stranger proving honest feedback in good faith, what corners will they cut with you?

With an emergency under-sink leak in my kitchen earlier this week, I went down the list of Arlington-area plumbers on Google, calling each one, and being turned down by each for same-day service. Then I reached Best Value Plumbing and Master Plumber John Thatcher. John, who was already busy with other jobs, MADE time to come out and take care of my problem. He has been out twice now, even fixing a couple of problems he didn't even charge me for. He has been totally accommodating to my schedule, and he did the required faucet replacement in a timely, thorough, professional manner - and at a reasonable price.

John is a dependable, no-nonsense, get-the-job-done-right professional who takes and returns phone calls, and who shows up when he says he's going to and does what he says he's going to do. Those traits are hard to find in contractors of any kind these days.

Very professional, down to earth and gave me reasonable pricing that beat five other companies I received estimates from. Gave me his personal phone for any emergencies or questions. I had a leaking toilet and BVP was recommended by a friend. All fixed the next day, great job and very reasonable price. I asked for a quote to replace all flexi pipe fittings under the sink and bathrooms. I was curious as I'd just had them replaced in my son's house. BVP's price was ONE THIRD of a well known Gold Coast plumbing company!!! All done 3 working days later.
I can recommend them highly enough!

John came out to fix a leak in my yard from the main to the house, he and his assistant stayed with it until it was completely fixed and tested. I highly recommend the thorough service they provided and at a reasonable price.
