I wanted to let everyone in the DFW area know how fantastic this company is! Here is the scenario, it is 26 degrees out and I am sure they are inundated with emergency calls due to the cold weather. I have a leaking pipe outside and called to schedule an appointment for the following day after 5 other companies blew me off! That is the first gold star. THEN, they called and said they have an earlier appointment so they could fit me in earlier, second gold star! The final gold star and biggest goes to Mr. David Patchell, because of the extreme temperature, I knew my wallet was at the mercy of the plumber and Stark so I was bracing for the worst. Not only did he save me from freezing busted pipes, BUT it came in well below the initial quoted estimate! Mr. Patchell was professional, detailed and kept me informed throughout the whole process! I was blown away by their honest and fantastic service! Stark, you have gained a customer for the foreseeable future! P.S. give Mr. Patchell a raise!So I received and call from Mr. Patchell the plumber this morning 2-19-2021 following up to ensure everything was good. I know these guys are bombarded so for him to take the few minutes was something he didn't have to do and is greatly appreciated!

The appointment had to be postponed due to heavy rain. On the day that we rescheduled there was some drizzle. The tech, Micaiah, was courteous and professional. Despite the rain, he worked on the air conditioning unit outdoors. He explained the work and also what I need to keep it running properly. I appreciate the extra time he took.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
