I wish there were 10 star ratings! I cannot rate Carrboro plumbing highly enough!
We had completed a bathroom renovation using a different plumber (Unfortunately, I did not know about Carrboro plumbing at the time). We quickly discovered our dream bathroom had turned into a nightmare because the original plumber had botched the job, leaving multiple problems: a hand shower incorrectly installed, leaking tub faucets, and we were finding water in our crawl space. I was desperate to find someone I could trust to evaluate what was going on and make the necessary repairs.
I contacted Carrboro plumbing and Linda listened to my concerns with empathy and got us quickly scheduled. Jeff, the plumber, came out exactly on time and quickly figured out the problems we were having, including finding the source of the water in the crawl space- the original plumber never even connected the shower drain.
Part of our bathroom renovation had involved tiling the bathroom and shower. Jeff worked meticulously to problem solve a way to access the plumbing without cutting or damaging the tile. This was no easy feat because it involved cutting multiple small windows into the back of a built in entertainment center that was behind the bathroom wall, and working through those.
I am forever grateful to Jeff, Linda, and the Carrboro Plumbing team and can’t recommend them highly enough. We will never use a different plumber now that we’ve found these guys.
Their pricing is straightforward and fair. They clearly are experts at what they do, and work efficiently, but beyond that, they really seem to care. I know of very few people who would have taken the time to save the tile work that Jeff did. We are extremely grateful. I give Carrboro Plumbing my highest recommendations!!

David is great! He’s done multiple jobs at our house and is always punctual, professional and his prices are reasonable. He also guarantees his work which is reassuring. The work he has done for us has always been as quoted or less than the quote which shows his integrity and honesty! He has come to our house promptly for emergencies too. Can’t recommend David enough!

I have used this company several times and won't call anyone else. They are reliable and fair. Always willing to offer suggestions but they don't push you into services that you don't really need. Great prices that you won't be able to beat. I have shopped around with other plumbers and they were not comparable to service and price. Highly recommend.

Our water was not working and Shawn came right over! He was so quick to come inspect the pipes at our office which is an old house in Wake Forest. The house is very old and has a tight crawl space but Shawn was able to check all out pipes immediately find the issue, order us the parts and get us on PlumbServe's repair schedule! We really appreciate their responsiveness and quality of service! Shawn took the time to explain what was happening with me and the owner of the building. He is wonderful to work with and we definitely recommend using PlumbServe for anyone looking for a reliable, reasonable and professional plumbing service!

Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Looking for a savior? Looks no further! Joseph Rose Plumbing saved us big time not once but twice. We had two nightmares happen at our house within a few months of each other. The first time we took to the internet to try to find someone to save our house from flooding from a leak in our water heater on the third floor. These guys got back to us immediately and had the problem fixed within an hour (and this was 9pm at night). Every other plumber took days to respond back to us. This company is extremely responsive and professional, I would highly recommend these guys to anyone in need.

Update: Once made aware of my dissatisfaction, the General Manager refunded me a little over 50% of what I paid for their services. He also informed me that they're in the midst of an entire price book overhaul & that they're trying to make it so the technician's have even more information regarding the pricing, so that they can better explain. I am modifying my review from 1 star to 3 stars, due to them working with me to come to a compromise.This company charges outrageous amounts in diagnostic fees! My HVAC system is under warranty & I was charged over $1,200 to have a contactor replaced! I had my entire HVAC system purchased & installed less than 3 years prior by another company for $4,500. I spent over $800 just for the issue to be diagnosed, so I guess the diagnostic rate is $800/hour. The charges are very confusing...my only line item that wasn't diagnostic charges was WARRANTY Contactor/ SHIPPING/PAPERWORKWARRANTY RELAY/ SHIPPING/PAPERWORK for $329. I kept asking my technician what this was because I'd initially thought the $800 covered labor & all. I told him I was not interested in an additional warranty to which he responded that charge was not for a warranty, it was for labor. I said I don't understand that because the line item says warranty. Then because I was so confused I said well if I don't agree to this charge are you going to fix my HVAC system to which he responded no. At that point I was so upset because I'd already signed for over $800 in charges & that wasn't even going to get anything fixed, so I signed for the additional $329 charge. I emailed the company my invoice & diagnostic information asking them to review it because I thought surely there was some sort of error. They did not respond back to me. Everyone I've spoken to about the issue, including some people that do the work, said what I was charged was highway robbery. I was very shocked by this experience because like most people I looked into reviews prior to selecting this company & they had high reviews.

Dp&m was the company assigned through my home warranty company. May be an ok company for unclogging toilets, but anything beyond running a snake down the drain, I advise anyone using this company to watch the result of snaking the drain, as they will not bring anything to your attention, and will claim you need something beyond their ability, like a camera. You'll find out they (Elaine) says they assume finding something in you line, because they cant fix the issue, thus voiding the warranty company from fixing or addressing the problem further. I did not feel valued as a customer, and will never use or recommend this company. Elaine was rude, argumentative and unhelpful, just responds with this isn't our first rodeo.

There was no evidence of any blockage from the line that was run, I did not sign any report, and still have a blocked drain. Thanks for nothing, both the technician and Elaine.
