Best Water Heater Installation in Durham NC

I recently had a plumbing emergency on Sunday related to a contractor from TWC drilling a hole in my main water line flooding my basement bathroom and floor. In a panic I searched local plumbers and found Carrboro plumbing. I was extremely pleased with the fast and efficient service and the quality of the work. What could have been a nightmare, Chris made it seem like an easy stressless fix. I will definitely use him in the future for any plumbing needs I may have.

David did an awesome job with our emergency plumbing problem! He came out quickly, worked to solve a tough problem that kept throwing him curveballs and get us back up and running within a few hours. Would definitely recommend and use again!

I'm very glad I used Pure-Line when my garbage disposal started leaking. Jackie is always so kind and helpful on the phone. She called me as soon as she knew the tech was running behind (which happens in this business). I really appreciated the call so I could plan the day better. Edwin was my tech and he replaced the disposal quickly. He took the time to explain a few things with the new disposal and it's working beautifully. Their prices were more reasonable than some other plumbers. I'll definitely use them again.

Kenny is personal and professional. His work was exceptional and he plumbed a new line for house filters that will make it easy for me to maintain clean well water.

Based on my experience with them, don't go with these folks unless you want to pay $ 100 more than other plumbers would charge. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but my experience with Bull City Plumbing was so disappointing that I had to leave a note of warning for future customers. I am a real customer, and had them come out to fix a leak under my kitchen sink on June 8, 2018. Here is the good: they are very responsive on YELP, and actually came when they said they would. And they did the job. And that's where the bad--or I should say exorbitantly costly--start. They put in a 99$ garbage disposal under my sink (i checked the price). They arrived at my house at 9:20 or so, ran to a store to pick it up, came back, installed it, and were out by 10:15. In other words, including the driving to the store to get the item time, they spent less than an hour in my house. The bill was for $ 360.13. Ouch. I got suspicious that it was not itemized, but as a whole item. So I called them, and asked for a clarification since most plumbers charge 100-150 per hour. In other words, the total should have been $250 (which I would have gladly paid). Here was where the difficulty started. The owner (Tray, who had been very charming and funny until then) started referring me to their secretary who answers the phone. She told me to get quotes from other people. I got quotes from two other people who also had five stars on YELP, and it was $ 140 for installing and $150 for installing. I reported it back to them, and they still refused to adjust the price. The secretary actually told me that I was paying for their office, the secretary, insurance, etc. I have been a home owner for 20 years, and have had lots of experiences with plumbers, but this was really disappointing. I gave them lots of chances to do right, but they refused. I think what is particularly disappointing is that I really liked to recommend them for their work, but I think their greedy and frankly unreasonable prices are something that customers should be on guard about. Sadly, avoid unless you want to pay $100 more than you should.

Justin Hogg from Blanton's did a stellar 5 star job. We had a drip leak coming from the 2nd floor ceiling. Justin was polite, informative, did not try to suggest random 'hole cutting', and took the time to really diagnose the problem.We did end up needing to cut a hole in the ceiling, which Justin kept small. Before cutting, Justin took the time and care to setup drop cloths. While cutting, he used a portable vacuum in one hand while cutting using the other. This kept airborne dust to almost nil.From there, he was able to determine something other than plumbing to be the likely culprit. Via further investigation he located the issue with the attic HVAC. Though Justing is not a HVAC specialist, he immediately cross checked his findings with a co-worker and worked immediately with dispatch to get a HVAC person out the following morning.Though we don't have the full issue resolved yet (pending the HVAC repairs) Justin performed a tidy clean up.I would highly recommend Justin and obviously would not hesitate to call him should future needs arise (which we hope they don't!).I'll write a follow up review for the HVAC technician tomorrow.Update July 20th, 2023...not sure if I'll get a different post for Alex Weaver so I'll briefly add here. Alex also delivered a 5-star service. I'd give them both 6 stars if I could. Alex, like Justin, took the care and time to do the job right. I've been with Streamline since 1987 and am always happy with their services. Today Mitch did my HVAC maintenance. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very pleasant experience.

Their quote was pretty pricey for what I needed but they were polite and punctual

Dp&m was the company assigned through my home warranty company. May be an ok company for unclogging toilets, but anything beyond running a snake down the drain, I advise anyone using this company to watch the result of snaking the drain, as they will not bring anything to your attention, and will claim you need something beyond their ability, like a camera. You'll find out they (Elaine) says they assume finding something in you line, because they cant fix the issue, thus voiding the warranty company from fixing or addressing the problem further. I did not feel valued as a customer, and will never use or recommend this company. Elaine was rude, argumentative and unhelpful, just responds with this isn't our first rodeo.

There was no evidence of any blockage from the line that was run, I did not sign any report, and still have a blocked drain. Thanks for nothing, both the technician and Elaine.
