Best Shower Repair in Durham NC

I contacted Carrboro Plumbing for my 80 year old mom. She had a leaking water heater that needed replacing. Was easy to make an appointment, they communicated well and were on time. At first the two men that showed up were very nice, helpful and ready to get the job done. It was a tight fit into a closet in my mom's bathroom. They did inform us they would need to remove some of the door molding to get the water heater in. But they would replace it back the best they could.
The job ended up taking about 6 hours with 4 men eventually. The water heater was installed and works fine. The mess left by the 4 men proved to ruin the good work they did do.
The walls around the closet were left with black finger print marks and scuffs. The floor in her bathroom around the closet was left the same way. The closet door frame was barely put back together. And most parts of the framing was just left off. I cleaned the walls with a Mr Clean sponge,something they could carry, and my 80 year old mom cleaned her own floor before I got there. I repaired the door frame. The door does not close properly any more. This was a $1250 job.
Will not be using Carrboro Plumbing again.

Update:The owners response was inaccurate. The invoice was not reduced. We were told via email the charge was $1250, but if we felt we should only pay $1200 that was fine. I emailed the company about the issues with pictures and never received a response. They never offered to rectify the damage they did. Positive now I would never use them again. Very unprofessional.

David was polite and efficient. However, I think his prices were HIGH. I would definitely recommend getting a quote prior to scheduling work.

Replacing a kitchen faucet should be simple, but alas, I have found it very difficult to find plumbers that will work on mobile homes. Most plumbers have expected me to reinstall a whole new piping system underneath my home. When I objected, they reluctantly agreed to making simple hose connections, but with an astronomical estimated cost. Is it that hard for a plumber to connect pipes? 'After Hours Plumbing' took care of the problem without the fuss at half the cost. They are wonderful!

I called that morning for a clogged drain and the service tech was here by lunchtime. Our tech did a great job and was very respectful and knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with plumbserve. I would highly recommend these guys and if needed will be calling these guys again.

I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Line's cost was $236.00.

Wyatt was very professional, friendly and courteous. He is very knowledgeable and troubled shot our old tankless water heater. Bought an old house that needed a ton of repairs - sinks installed, showers switched out, etc etc. Basically everything and anything plumbing related was needed. Ethan with Joseph Rose responded quickly, gave us a free estimate, and his pricing was also the best from the quotes we got. He was able to start within 2 weeks. Organized, efficient, professional and honest. Can't really ask for anything more. I also felt very safe with home alone as a woman which is important. Great service - would hire again.

Bailey's was scheduled to install a dishwasher and microwave (contracted from Lowes) today. After arriving late, the plumber stated that, first, the job could not be done, then, that he couldn't do it without cutting holes in our kitchen cabinets, and finally stated that he could do the job for an additional cost. After we decided that he might not be the best person to complete this installation, he stated that he did not want to install the microwave.then denied making that statement after speaking to Lowes CPO. It makes me wonder how they can stay in business.

Rep was super down to earth and kept me filled in on what was going on thru the process.
