Fantastic local company! We've had a number of plumbing issues and have met several of their plumbers. Every one of them has taken extra steps to ensure our satisfaction. This includes the owner eventually coming to our house to troubleshoot an elusive leak.

David returned our call quickly, and arrived when he said he would. He made a quick, through, and logical leak check. He found and fixed a leaking pipe right away. Another plumbing company failed to do this the day before. David knows is buisness and we really appreciate him and his work.

I really appreciated the prompt service when my own home warranty company couldn't find anyone in the area that could respond to weekend emergencies - I'm so glad I called After Hours! The responding technician Alfredo was amazing - super fast, fixed our ruptured pipe in less than an hour, and very kind. I highly recommend this business, especially for their weekend repair service!

Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Pricing was very fair and transparent, Rob was very skilled and personable, and the job was done quickly and well. Will certainly be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

I had a leaking sewer pipe hidden under concrete slab. The water was coming out off the floor when draining water. I removed everything including the dish washer and opened up the drywall. They came over and took their time to evaluate, including flushing sink water repetitively, to see the water came out repetitively, dug outside foundation for 3 minutes, visually inspect everything again and again, call his boss, wait outside for his boss for at least 20 minutes, call the HOA manager (because it's their friend), and wait outside for the HOA manager for at least 20 minutes. In the end I was charged around $190 for the so called evaluation (because they spent 1.5 hours for...I don't know what they did) and then given an estimate of $650 to really find out the problem was. Note that $650 did not include the fix or any other potential damage. What's worse was that, after $190/1.5 hours of the so called professional evaluation, they told me it's a cast iron pipe running perpendicular to the wall, while in fact it's a ABS pipe running in parallel to the wall. If you are in a state of emergency, have a lot of money to throw away, and know exactly what to be done to fix your problem, you may call them. Oh wait, you can't call them because they will let you wait in order to charge you more thus can't solve your emergency problem. Okay, maybe if you have a lot of money to throw away, and know exactly what to be done to fix your problem, you may call them. For example, if you want to rip out our golden toilet and throw it away, I think VDH is the company you're looking for! Otherwise, please don't rely on them doing the trouble shooting for you. Because they are going to waste your time, deliberately, and money, also deliberately, and still give you the totally wrong diagnosis.

I recently had RDU Plumbing replace an aging water heater. Brian was terrific to work with. His quote was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I received, and when the job was more labor intensive than originally anticipated, he stuck with the price he had quoted for the job. He was on time, courteous, efficient, and left a clean worksite. I couldn't be happier with the work done. I will definitely use RDU Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs.

We used CDK Plumbing to plumb a bathroom and two extra sink areas in a basement we are finishing. The first time they came out they were professional and courteous. Yesterday, the came out to finish the job, since the drywall and painting was done, by putting in the toilet and sink. The first problem with communication came when they failed to call me or my husband to let us know they were coming out. I was surprised when they rang the doorbell as I was getting ready to leave for work. Since I didn't know they were coming, I had not arranged to work from home nor did I have anyone who was able to stay at the house that day. I let them in, showed them around and told them to call me if they needed anything. I remarked that the lead guy was not the same one who had been out here doing the work the first time. When I came home, I was surprised to find 8 holes in the ceiling where they were looking for a valve shut-off. Many of the holes are as big as my head. First of all, I think they should have written down where they had installed the valve on our paperwork, so that if they weren't going to send the same guy out, it would have been well documented. Alternatively, in this age of camera phones, they could have taken pictures after everything was installed, to document where they had installed all the valves - this is what the electrician had done. Finally, NOBODY CALLED US! I would think it would be a policy that if you were to cut into the drywall, you would CALL THE HOMEOWNER first. We remembered where the valves were installed and could have, with a 5 minute phone call, instructed them on the location so that they would have had to only make one or maybe two holes looking for it - NOT 8! I cannot fathom what when through their heads after hole, say 5, to not think - maybe I should contact the homeowner and let them know I'm turning their brand new, perfect, expensive, painted drywall into swiss cheese. At no point in time were either my husband nor I contacted by them. Not even when they were done; so we were left to discover this mistake by ourselves. This company waisted time (how long does it take to cut 8 separate holes? how long will it take us to fix 8 separate holes?) and money (How much will it cost us, an expense that they say is ours deal with). Communication is cheap and easy. Communication is the key to a happy homeowner. A 5 minute call would have saved the company from this bad review. I would not recommend CDK Plumbing until they review their communication policy and make sure they keep the homeowners in the loop.

Update: I have now spoken with our contractor, who takes partial responsibility for the above situations, since he approved ONE hole to be cut into the ceiling. The owner of CDK has also called and apologized for the mistake. I appreciate how he took responsibility for the situation. He has promised to pay for the repair. Therefore I am raising my review by one star.

I woke up to the inside of my house at 58 degrees & my heat would not kick on. I called Blanton’s and within 10 minutes (I am not even exaggerating) Brian Broadney was at my doorstep. He was super friendly (and funny) but also very knowledgeable and professional. He got the problem fixed in no time. I will not be sleeping in the cold tonight thanks to the quick response from Brian at Blanton’s!

I am very happy with the professionalism, service and resolution (and speed - I can't say enough about how quickly the staff got 'round!) we experienced with Mr. Lane and his service staff Mr. Jerry and Mr. Nelson. The same day we called they were at our house and when they left our plumbing worked! The next day we thought there was a glitch and they made a special trip back and found an adjustment - something that wasn't in the original scope of work - and cheerfully fixed it. We are a fan!

I was having issues with an older tankless hot water heater that came with our house. Streamline helped me find a replacement that fulfilled our household needs at a reasonable price. I signed up for their Family Plan, so I will be taking advantage of their HVAC and Electrical services as well. I really appreciated the matter of fact manner in which all the interactions occurred. I never felt like I was being pushed to go one way or another. Everyone answered all of my questions and let me make the decision based on the information provided. The end result was a professionally installed hot water heater that I expect will last us a very long time as well as a new group of experts I know I can rely on for future needs. Allen, Matthew, Steven, and the other folks whose names I did not catch were all very pleasant and helpful.Update 6/16/2020: I had my first HVAC maintenance today. Ray Carson did a great job checking things out and making recommendations. I liked that he gave us options and let us decide how to proceed with some expected repairs to our 21-year-old system. Another great service experience!Update 12/2020: Paul Green has been out to our house twice in the past two weeks. First he installed a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal, and then he re-piped our crawlspace which was full of end-of-life CPVC. In both cases, Paul did an outstanding job. We really appreciate his attention to detail, his professionalism, and his skill. We are very happy with the results of his work.Update 6/22/2022: Still loving the service from Streamline. Steven Cravey and I had a great conversation about a variety of potential issues with my aging home. No pressure -- just letting me know what is coming down the road sooner or later.Update: 1/26/2023: Mitch Degenhardt did an extremely thorough job our our furnace maintenance this morning. Dp&m was the company assigned through my home warranty company. May be an ok company for unclogging toilets, but anything beyond running a snake down the drain, I advise anyone using this company to watch the result of snaking the drain, as they will not bring anything to your attention, and will claim you need something beyond their ability, like a camera. You'll find out they (Elaine) says they assume finding something in you line, because they cant fix the issue, thus voiding the warranty company from fixing or addressing the problem further. I did not feel valued as a customer, and will never use or recommend this company. Elaine was rude, argumentative and unhelpful, just responds with this isn't our first rodeo.

There was no evidence of any blockage from the line that was run, I did not sign any report, and still have a blocked drain. Thanks for nothing, both the technician and Elaine.
