How many ways can I rave about Carrboro Plumbing? I had a long going issue with my washer drain flooding for years and had multiple plumbers come in, fix it, and then months later it would happen again. Finally Jeff came in and carefully considered the situation, and did the deep dive in replacing pipes that had accumulating years of gunk-- not just there but in my kitchen, too, without me even asking about it. He did the same for an issue I had with horrible water pressure-- so thorough, careful and patient, and ended fixing more than that issue. I had to have my whole water line moved due to construction and would only trust CP to do it, and the crew that was here for two days did a totally thorough job, was super respectful and explained everything, and took care not to damage by baby plants right by a trench they had to dig without me even bringing them to their attention (and in the winter even.) They are just the best around for so many reasons, and you'll be lucky if they can fit you into their in-demand schedule! :)

We called them to get a second opinion after a previous plumber told us we had to replace all of our toilets and he was able to fix 2 toilets without replacement - saving us thousands of dollars according to the quote from our first plumber. I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Line's cost was $236.00.

We had a leaky pipe under our sink. We were able to get an appointment immediately, and the customer service representative was very polite and friendly. Connor showed up promptly and was very kind and respectful of our space. He checked all the plumbing in our home and was able to fix some other issues at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend these folks and will be using them again!

I did not have a good experience with Streamline at all! We had a leaking faucet, called the streamline since there are many good reviews online. The technician came and looked at my faucet said we need to change the whole faucet for $ 700 - 800! I asked him if he can take it apart to see if there is worn out seals. He said if he does that, if he use any of his tools to open up anything, he is going to charge us more. So I was charged $85 for a service call and am no closer to having a diagnose on a leaking faucet! What a great company huh!

During a time when customer service is at an all time low, due to worker shortages and increased demand, it's incredibly refreshing to call a business, have the owner answer the phone and and have same-day availability! Mr. William arrived within an hour of my call to fix my HVAC system that was not blowing hot or cold air. He asked if I wanted to watch him repair the unit and I enthusiastically said yes! Not many people take the time to walk you through through every step of the diagnostic tests. Once he pinpointed the issues (a safety feature that cut the system off and some faulty repairs from a previous HVAC company), I was quoted a price to repair, I signed off on the work and and my unit was back to operational within the hour. The whole process was informative, transparent and easy. Then I found out he not only repairs HVAC, but also plumbing and electrical. Last but not least, I love to support locally owned and operated, Black businesses. This was an all-around great experience and I will be calling again.

Bernie added an entire door to the a stairwell in our home. He had to build out a wall and match existing finishings/style - and he did an amazing job. It looks like the door has always been there. Bernie is genuinely honest and concerned with doing excellent work (as well as being highly talented). I am happy to recommend Bernie for any home repairs, renovations or other work!

Our garbage disposable was leaking water under the sink. I called Ekard Drain and they came the same day. Jason was professional and friendly. He replaced it with a new one in no time. We were satisfied with everything. I would use them again if I needed to.
