Best Plumbing Fixture Installation in Durham NC

I recently had a plumbing emergency on Sunday related to a contractor from TWC drilling a hole in my main water line flooding my basement bathroom and floor. In a panic I searched local plumbers and found Carrboro plumbing. I was extremely pleased with the fast and efficient service and the quality of the work. What could have been a nightmare, Chris made it seem like an easy stressless fix. I will definitely use him in the future for any plumbing needs I may have.

Updated: Based on the excellent experience with Alfredo we didn't look elsewhere for our next repair. And looking forward to working with him more on upcoming projects. I really can't speak anymore highly for Alfrefo and the team at After-hours. Alfredo was punctual, courteous, positive, friendly and fixed my double flushing toilet in a snap. Fair price, weekend service, easy scheduling, easy payment with detailed invoice. Could not ask for a better experience!

Rob M. with Pure-Line Plumbing was outstanding! I called to schedule a non-emergency appointment and they got me an appointment less than 48 hours away. Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Pricing was very fair and transparent, Rob was very skilled and personable, and the job was done quickly and well. Will certainly be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

We had an unidentified leak and called them. Their office manager is amazingly efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The courteous and prompt service technician found the leak in short order, ran off to get a part, and fixed the problem in no time at all. We added a couple more items to the list, which were also fixed during a second visit. We highly recommend Full Stack Plumbing!

Overpriced, and was not strait forward about finding a cost effective repair. Initially said block of ice would flood drain system when I suggested that he clean out drain pipe. After insisting that they clean out the drain, found it was completely 100% jammed with rust. I feel like he tried to leverage a clogged pipe into a $13500 new AC unit sale. It's 23 years old. No doubt it could be replaced. Was it necessary today? Absolutely not. I would like to see a little more transparency / honesty/ integrity, especially for that price. Nice guys though... just young. $467.06 thanks for coming out, they did a good job once I insisted they clean out the drain pipe. Not sure I trust this company though to find the most cost effective solution.

I called on a Monday morning because we had started having this knocking and shaking every time we flush the toilet, or used the washing machine. They actually answered the phone! The lead plumber was able to troubleshoot and even give a range estimate over the phone and send someone out to solve our issue that very day! Everything is running fine, it cost what they said it would (on the low end), So grateful! Highly recommend.

Josh was fantastic to work with. He's very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He invited me to watch him work and explained what he was doing throughout the HVAC maintenance. He was careful to take photos and/or videos of any areas of concerns and offered understandable details of the problems. When it became obvious that repair costs were mounting and a new system might be the best option, he quickly arranged for a consultant to visit for an estimate/options. Despite the bad HVAC news, Josh was excellent in his performance and explanations. Would highly recommend!

I've used Bar D twice and have been happily impressed both times. Yesterday's task was time sensitive (a clog stopped me from running water anywhere in the house) and they worked me in and got me operational in good time and for a fair price.

Bernie repaired our garage frame, front door railings and did indoor repairs and put up curtain rods. The work was very professional and reasonably priced. He and his son are also very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him for indoor and outdoor jobs at your home.

Needed a inspection of my water in a small commercial building, kids were nice at first then Austin had a attitude.. would next answer texts they are KIDS! No recommended.

Our garbage disposable was leaking water under the sink. I called Ekard Drain and they came the same day. Jason was professional and friendly. He replaced it with a new one in no time. We were satisfied with everything. I would use them again if I needed to.

2 stars for price only. $298.12 for a drain clean out. We called with the problem already diagnosed; it was non urgent, and they never lost the snake to the drain. They were here a total of 20 minutes. Outrageous pricing.

Edit in response to owner’s reply only: if I knew I’d had them for 2 hours at that price, I would’ve put them to work! $150/hour sure is something. Wish I made that.
